I don't seems to understand, but schools are on holiday Or is the Northern school calendar different?
Yusuf said the schools were closed on Wednesday morning after the state received an intelligence report about possible attacks on schools across the country, particularly in border states.
However if this is true they can close for some days and counter the insurgents but permanently closing the schools because of that is a win for the bandits
anonimi: Why don’t you just provide the link for your claim? What percentage of children are in government schools since 1999 that ThiefNuibu and his boys have been robbing 20 million lay? Is that not a good measure if they have been employing teachers every year? So what is the progressive label for their politics if they can’t do free education for all children
SmellyNyash: Copy copy APC. We all know who Obasanjo is supporting. He is already obedient and their is nothing the thief will do to reverse that. We the sane youth has already rejected the old curved man that is almost going to meet his maker
Obasanjo hasn't even been able to deliver is LG when he's on opposing sides in recent elections however he's an elder in Yoruba land who deserves the visit and not because he has a special influence on electorates
Some of my special reasons for supporting Tinubu include Talent hunting and the use of Think Thank these qualities are rare in people and a good leader should have both. Let's all give BAT our votes and support in 2023 he may have his weakness but the strength is obviously more than the weakness.
anonimi: Maybe Sanwo Olu is not a Yoruba man just like Thiefnuibu is also not a Yoruba man. Otherwise he will be reporting on workers employed each year by the state and 20 LGAs to work the infrastructure and ensure they are well maintained for a long time in line with:
Ómó ti a ko ba kó ni o ma gbe ile ti a kó ta
Why do you just keep mentioning my post? Are you saying Lagos didn't employ teachers?
I think you need to do your research well Moreso Seyi isn't the first to do such in Oyo state Ajimobi also employed teachers Infact Ajimobi employed for both primary and secondary schools
hedonido: How is he a product of the system when he defeated the 'system' by emerging from nowhere to become a whole governor with an unknown, newly formed APGA?
Unknown? Newly formed? Ujukwu's party?
Mind you Ojukwu contested under APGA in 2003 The same time Obi contested but got his mandate in 2006
IlovePMB: Was once a Buharist during his first tenure. Buhari is a failure in leadership. All of us who one way or the other helped in bringing Buhari to government should be hiding our faces in shame. Tinubu and Atiku should be hiding their faces in shame for deceiving Nigerians to vote Buhari.
I am fully Obidient. If not for anything but for the atonement of my sins because I am guilty of supporting Buhari against Jonathan.
And you only registered your account during Buhari's second term your mission is clear!
Built2last: As INEC has published voter register by regions, Obidients should not worry.
Go and check, APC Got 55% Vote in Lagos, PDP got 44% in 2015 presidential election. Labour Party and Obi effect will shake Lagos this time around Lagos may have a high voter registration but non indigenes and disgruntled people against Tinubu makes over 60% of the registered voters.
Let's analyse objectively.
Also a Presidential aspirant can still get 22m Votes without winning in the North West this has happened in 2011presidential election
Goodluck in 2011, he didn't win in those strong northern states, he won the election with 22 million votes, losing woefully in States like Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Niger, Sokoto, Yobe, Zamfara
I am revealing this secret so we can all understand that no region has any monopoly on votes...A surprise might just happen in 2023. This is the statistics Peter Obi & Datti Baba-Ahmed are looking at and it’s quite promising.
Don't allow anyone fool you 2023 election is very much open.
Few factors have further opened the race.
1. The new electoral act makes it more difficult to rig the election.
2. INEC now has over 96 million registered voters. Nigeria since 1999 has never recorded 50 million people come out to vote in any election.
Meaning there are over 50million voters who have either been averse or cared less. Today, hunger and poverty is resetting brains. Insecurity is driving people up the wall of dissatisfaction. Those people might choose to vote now to express their frustration.
The Northern voter is left with 4 choices. Vote Tinubu For APC, Vote Atiku for PDP, vote Kwankwaso for NNPP or vote Yusuf Datti Ahmed for Labour party. The Northern vote is clearly split into four.
The chances of OBI is higher than all others.
There was no card reader in 2011 . Votes were basically written In 2011 Abia state alone gave Jonathan close to a million vote and after the introduction of card reader they've not even returned half of that
iSense247: It is deliberate and necessary comerade. Let's suffocate Tinubu before 2023! elections.
Ok continue
The most honourable thing to do is to protest at the polls because (1)suffocating him will just make some of us see it as a fight against Islam and make the whole election a religious thing and that will interest the Northerners more 2) Majority of Christians are not known to support APC from the onset even when a pastor was the vice considering the results from Christian dominated regions and that has not stopped APC from winning and expectedly they won't support Tinubu despite been a southerner check Bosun Emmanuel 2014 outburst And on a final note when Tinubu finally wins with this show of hatred I hope you won't cry marginalisation when he appoints those that worked for him
Starcrest1: This analysis is on point. But let me add something, You could see how northerners voted Buhari always even though he changes party like water, parties without structure. This is for the structure people.
Secondly this time around, three people that will share the northern votes are Tinubu, Atiku and Kwankwaso, so I wonder how they will be banking on the bulk votes there. Obi is winning this unless two people steps down from the three I mentioned above.
The only way Obi can beat kwakwaso to 3rd position is if the Christians decide to give him bulk of their votes may not take him beyond 3rd though
No one region can make the presidency by themselves and this is what the Easterners seems not to understand you can't keep hating people and expect them to turn around and support you during election. It doesn't work that way.
That said there is no doubt in the fact that the North has the number and the needed unity for elections unlike the south
Like many Under-30s, supporting BOLA TINUBU ahead of 2023 would mean preserving the old order when several younger and more appealing candidates could lead us come 2023.
His 11th colloquium pro-people advice to the VP on VAT increase triggered me and got me digging.
“Really?”
