If the Yoruba minority is to be pitied why then should he think he who is been pitied should not choose a Christian VP So to you now Muslims are minority in Yoruba land and they should be pitied? Why are you deceiving yourself? |

IfnobeGod20: I don't know where you people always get your data from. In Gombe and Adamawa you can boast of some local government areas to be predominantly christains population but in Ekiti and Ondo, the reverse is the case. You can't say this local government area is predominantly muslims. In Ekiti and Ondo, they are either christains or traditionalists. The muslims population in those two states are so minute and seems insignificant. Same way you can't see a complete local government area in Kano, Jigawa, Katsina that can be said to be populated by christains. Are you from Ondo or Ekiti? If the answer is No then quote me not I know what I'm saying about the 2 states However they may not be concentrated in a LG like you said |

Welcomme: From 1999 till date, all Taraba state deputies have been Muslims. The population of Christians in Kano state, Borno State, Katsina State are far more than that of Ekiti, Ondo and Benue.. But there have never been a Christian deputy or even chief of staff in any of these state I mentioned above.. So you want to compare Nigeria with Ekiti or Benue where Muslims are not even up to 2 percent in these state Go and verify I'm grounded in EKITI than saying earsays |

Welcomme: You are a bloody liar. Ondo and Most especially Ekiti don't have 5% Muslims. Aside from the Akoko area of Ondo, tell me any LGA that has a sizable Muslim population in Ondo? Tell me any local government in Ekiti with 5% Muslims.. You think you are talking to children abi... You obviously know little about the 2 states Mind you I schooled in EKITI and even a visit to Ado-Ekiti alone should change your orientation |

Politics › Re: Sheikh Haliru Abdullahi Maraya Warns Against Same-Faith Presidential Ticket by barbstee(m): 9:38pm On Jul 04, 2022 |
Awoleesu: Following your logic; are there no sound and eligible Christians in Zamfara, Sokoto, Kebbi, Katsina and Kano States? Are there no qualified Christians in Yobe, Borno and Bauchi states?
FYI, all the stares I have listed here have a sizeable highly intellectual and productive Christian population, alas! Their Muslim brothers chose to systematically relegate them to the background...
What's good for the goose they say...
Truth is Muslims started this madness of annotating religion superlatively over common politics! While the Awolowos and Azikwes were playing politics of development and ideologies in the south, Sardauna was playing the politics of 'work & worship" in the north.
So, my friend if you hear non-muslims crying foul, it's because they've learnt from their muslim neighbours that religion is a differentiating factor when it comes to living together! Awolowo doesn't play religious politics? How many of his disciples are Muslims despite the Muslim population in the west? |

Truthisunique2: danbabab Dan fulani suntai was Muslim gov in taraba
Taraba still gives it's minority Muslims chance ie late mama Taraba,
Ondo/Ekiti Muslims is not enough to reach two lga (it's the reason they can't even produce a senator)
You don't compare it with zones that have a major senatorial district as Muslim or Christian as obtainable in southern kaduna, south gombe etc
You have 3 senate zones and one or one and half is from opposite religion, it's more than enough to share post
Nassarawa was suppose to be christian ruled till date, the current apc chairman didn't allow freedom of choice Ondo/Ekiti Muslims? You obviously erred here I sure know more about the 2 states there are about 40% of the population as Muslims or so and they've even produce a Muslim deputy during the old Ondo state in person of Musa Ayeni |
Politics › Re: Sheikh Haliru Abdullahi Maraya Warns Against Same-Faith Presidential Ticket by barbstee(m): 8:50pm On Jul 04, 2022 |
Truthisunique2: the Muslim population in benue is insignificant if any, it's like asking for christian deputy in Kano, jigawa, kebbi
I didn't say they want to do christian christian in taraba, there is Christian Muslim balance in taraba
But in plateau where Christian's used to give Muslims equal representation, they are starting to have a rethink since the whole jihad started
To tell you that the Christian communities are no longer trusting the Muslim counterpart again then you emphasize their fear with Muslim Muslim nationally I don't think Muslims have ever produced the governor in Taraba and Plateau states despite their population and to say Muslims are not significant in Benue you erred. Now if they are having a second thought in Plateau and reverse is the case in Gombe and Adamawa according to your report then who is more accommodating? And that said what of Ekiti and Ondo that has significant number of Muslims? Anyway my argument so far is religion shouldn't be the basis of consideration |
Politics › Re: Sheikh Haliru Abdullahi Maraya Warns Against Same-Faith Presidential Ticket by barbstee(m): 7:44pm On Jul 04, 2022 |
Truthisunique2: The north it want to appease with it have been rejecting it for "one nijeria" balance
Adamawa is about to elect christian deputy, kaduna is going back to christian deputy, gombe already have christian deputy alongside nassarawa, kwara, kogi
Plateau is going christian christian, taraba, benue full christian govs
All states christian have significant population up north are sensitive to the times
But Tinubu begs to differ with the logic nationally Are there no Muslims in Taraba and Benue? Why the double standard? You only cry when it's against you and that's how a typical Nigerian is. EKITI and Ondo doesn't even have aMuslim deputy despite the population of Muslims in the 2 states and in each of the states Muslims have produced a deputy governor before yet Muslims ain't crying fowl |

franchasofficia: Beautiful.
Your labours will never be in vain once Peter Obi emerges winner come 2023.
Nigerians, especially the youths will realize how much they have been shortchanged in the past.
Majority of the cabinets will be exceptional youths from nobody family.
Peter Obi will make our Northern brothers realize that they had been making mistakes in the past listening to their politicians using tribalism and religion to divide us.
How can they tell you that Igbos hate Hausa-Fulanis but the same Igbos massively voted and supported Musa Yaradua, massively voted and supported Atiku Abubakar in 2019?
How can a sensible Yoruba person listen to online urchins and political criminals telling you that Igbos hate Yoruba but the same Igbos massively supported and voted Olusegun Obasanjo twice, a Yoruba man. The same Igbos supported Prof Yemi Osinbajo a Yoruba man. The same Igbos supported Engr Seyi Makinde of Oyo State. The same Igbos supported and stood solidly behind Ayo Fayose, and you still listen to tribal bigots telling you that Igbos hate Yorubas.
Because Igbos refused to support Buhari a known coupist and bigot in 2015/2019, and even when he chose Igbos as his VP, Yorubas now turned around to tag Igbos Hausa-Fulani haters, how? When did supporting Buhari translate to loving Hausa-Fulanis, or is Buhari the only Hausa-Fulani worthy of being supported and loved?
Because Igbos refused to blindly queue behind Tinubu a known political godfather and treasury looter, some inconsequential Yoruba online urchins now translate it to Igbos hating Yorubas. Does it mean Tinubu is the only Yoruba worthy of being supported and loved even when the same Tinubu reeks of corruption and thuggery
Between Igbos and Yorubas who ought to be singing Emilokan in 2023? Igbos have never produced President of Nigeria since 1966 yet Yorubas that produced Obasanjo in 1999 and 2003, Osinbajo in 2015 to 2023 is going about singing Emilokan and forming victim, accusing Igbos of hating Yoruba instead of being their brothers keeper by supporting a competent Igbo to help us fix Nigeria for the better good of all of us. Yoruba rara oh. Stop hating Igbos oh, Igbos love you but you all refuse to love Igbos back instead you keep holding on to mistakes of some Igbo soldiers in 1966 to shortchange Igbos in Nigeria and you feel it is fair?
Southeast is boiling, most of you Yorubas dont care instead you rejoice over Southeast insecurity, is it fair? There is God oh. There is God of justice that watches over the affairs of men, remember what you sow in life you must reap. Dear Yorubas pls be your brother's keeper and support Peter Obi lets give him a trial and if he dares to do nonsense and watch how we will respond.
One love Nigeria.
Power to the youths! Igbos have only supported PDP and not necessarily Hausa or Yoruba as you claim and it surprises me how they still don't seem them fit to produce the president. If Yorubas say emi lokan ita in APC and not necessarily PDP because that's where they put their political strength it's normal to claim what is duly yours and Igbos lokan in pdp too but to my surprise no Igbo aspirant was fully supported by the Igbos themselves so who do you now blame for that?. And nobody is happy with the insecurity in the east but the majority of the people seems sympathetic to the course of IPOB/ESN and they voluntarily gave them armunition and the rest is now history and who do we still blame for this? The Igbos ought to claim what is rightfully theirs but since they refuse to you can't blame anybody. Another thing is Igbos can't produce the president alone you need align with other region but then what do we see after election calling the country unprintable names and attacking other tribes the same mistake is about to repeat itself. Referees get their fair share of stick - and maybe a little bit more - for their troubles in officiating football games, so it's only right that they receive some compensation for their struggles. Coming under pressure from players and managers each week for their decisions, referees have one of the toughest jobs in football, while the introduction of VAR has not made anything much simpler. Here's how much referees are paid in the Premier League and abroad. How much are amateur referees paid?If you're looking for a little side hustle for your weekend mornings, amateur refereeing might be for you - providing you've got thick enough skin to deal with hungover bald men or pushy parents screaming at you for an hour and a half. Amateur refs in the United Kingdom get paid per game with their fee usually determined by the local football association. That fee is usually around £25. How much are Premier League referees paid?At the other end of the pyramid are the elite Premier League referees. They receive a yearly salary complemented by match fees. Their retainer per year is around £40,000, though that figure is also determined by the referee's experience. They are then paid £1,150 a game, meaning they can earn up to £70,000 a year. Down in the Championship, referees are given the same yearly retainer but match fees are only £600 a game. 2022/23 Premier League Select Group 1 referees •Stuart Attwell •Peter Bankes •Tom Bramall •John Brooks •David Coote •Darren England •Jarred Gillett •Tony Harrington •Simon Hooper •Rob Jones •Chris Kavanagh •Andy Madley •Andre Marriner •Michael Oliver •Craig Pawson •Michael Salisbury •Graham Scott •Anthony Taylor •Paul Tierney How much are Europe's top referees paid?Around Europe, referees are mainly paid on a game-by-game basis. Spain are the most generous in that regard, with La Liga paying £5,200 per game, while Germany and Italy dish out around £3,000. Ligue 1 in France gives referees £2,400 per fixture, while officials in Portugal get just £1,000, How much are Champions League referees paid?Champions League referees are paid per game dependent on their experience. Elite Development referees receive £3,800 per game, while officials in the bottom tier get £700 a match. https://www.90min.com/posts/how-much-do-premier-league-referees-get-paid/app/?utm_source=fotmob&utm_medium=pn&partner=342902&show-title=true&show-reads-counter=true&show-date=true&show-author=true |
