Saul has killed his thousands David has killed his tens of thousands... And we know how it ended. |
JosWatchDog:Lol. Based on Supply Chain and Procurement. Generally, teachers in Nigeria are not rich. In the U.K., maths teachers are paid in excess of £50,000 in certain high worth private schools. In Nigeria? Not even N50,000. And you want them to be rich? |
CastedDude:They'll let him off... And he wouldn't learn the lesson. In the West, the law is visited on you. Of course you can make an appeal. But the law is the law. Hence "things work" in the West (where they know the law works) and things do not in a Nigeria clime, where they beg/pay their way off! |
BeeBeeOoh:The Senator is being politically correct. Beating around the bush and not really saying anything tangible. The Reason? Education. That's the solitary reason. And this lack of education— Western education and not Islamic education— is being enabled by the Northern Elites. Because with education, the Northern elites and politicians will not be able to mentally subjugate the masses especially during elections. With education, the Northern masses are more likely to become economically empowered and hence less dependent on this politicians and elites. With education, the Northern elites and politicians will face an angry and enlightened masses who will turn against them. So they continue while, of course, they send their children and wards to the best schools— to be educationally empowered to continue the subjugation. |
Nnamdd1:Osinbajo isn't like Buhari. Or many of Buharists. He acts based on common sense and reason and pragmatism. Not on emotions. |
ngolokante:LOL. Your intent is clear for all to see. Trying to distract, as much as possible, from the happenings in Borno State. I understand that as someone who has been recently deployed there, you know little— this is perfectly understandable. But could you just act like it? Have a good day my friend. We could hang out in Maiduguri, if indeed you are here. Cheers. |
ngolokante:Your type is the type that will come tomorrow and deny that all the massacres in Southern Kaduna weren't against Christians. For whatever reasons. Anyway, we all know your type. Denialism is your elixir. |
ngolokante:You have just been deployed... Yet you know more than someone who's lived there al his life, who was born there, schooled ther and still lives there? You know more than someone who knows Maiduguri before BH started and knows Maiduguri after BH? When it's clear that you only came to Maiduguri recently? You know more than someone who enjoyed Borno State under the kingship of the Late Shehu of Borno, the man of peace himself? Do you know the "before" and "after" of St Patrick's Catholic Church, post office? Of course you don't. Because, in your words, you are a recent visitor to Maiduguri. By being "deployed", it basically suggests that you are in a form of "official" capacity. Perhaps the military. Perhaps NEMA. Of course your views will have to be the one that is pleasing to the government— and never the truth even if you know it. This is basic common sense. Your kind of arrogance Sha. It doesn't deserve a reply, but deserves pity and laughter. I know your kind. Your kind is the type that does NOT want the real stories of the happenings in Maiduguri to spill out for, likely, political reasons. That's why the best defence you can come out with is the lame, "you are lying." Playing on emotions. But those who are affected don't care what you think. |
ngolokante:How many BH have attacked churches? Let me help you with some information. I live in Maiduguri and I have been here for more than 20 years. The attacks on churches is going on and the media does not report it. There's a place in Maiduguri called, "Wulari Jerusalem"; before BH started, it was "Jerusalem" because every 100 metres, you will see a church, Christian bookshop, Christian Music Store, etc. Today, most of the churches are either burnt, or desolate because of the threat of BH. Airport Road, Maiduguri was growing, becoming a Christian hub— it is now empty as BH has made it empty. The LGs which BH attacked and installed their flag and "emir" are mostly Local Governments in Southern Borno. Southern Borno is a Christian zone. From Hawul to Chibok to Biu, etc, all attacked and invaded by Boko Haram. Come over to Maiduguri and see for yourself, if you are doubting me. Smh. |
OoniOfIfe:He should shut up and stop the needless pity party. This is the same UK, the cesspit of terror, where the government put pressure on the US to free a British Citizen held at Guantanamo Bay. What happened years later? He sneaked back into Syria and became a "successful" suicide bomber for ISIS in Iraq. The US are merely taking precautions and no reasonable person will blame them |
OoniOfIfe: |
CallmeGlad:Without the opposition, Nigeria would be running a one-party state. Unlike the UK, where the opposition is institutionalised, Nigeria has not institutionalised opposition. Sadly and ironically, the opposition in Africa, Nigeria's especially, is instead criminalised. A one party state in Africa is a terrible thing. From it, dictators, sit-tight rulers are born and nurtured. Zimbabwe, Cameroon and only till recently, Gambia, are prime examples. Fayose, hate him or love him, is the live-wire of the only opposition (half-dead I must say) in Nigeria, the PDP. Without him, the APC would be on a roll in Nigeria— an APC led by a former military dictator, Buhari. The implication of that is too scary to portend. I know Nigerians are given to emotionalism rather than pragmatism. If we focus on the latter, we should, in all honesty be thankful to Fayose. |
Agimor:Because they keep reminders and artefacts from their history and teach about it and hence are unlikely to repeat the same mistake again. That phone is likely to be, at some pint, opened for public viewing. The Rwandans also imbibed the habit, maintaining relics and gruesome reminders of their past. Hence since the end of the 1994 genocide, there haven't been one single incident of civil conflict. Nigeria? Lol. We run away from history and criminalise those who remind us. And attempt to destroy reminders and emblems. Hence the plethora of conflicts + issues since independence. |
sarrki:LOL. Do you know what the UK reporters donij the name of reporting? Phone hacking, email hacking, fake interview/ setup (Allardyce) etc? |
This is beautiful.... Who knows, I may find my wife here ![]() Madam, are you here? Come let us do this thing this year and get on with our new lives outside Nigeria ![]() |
Killitoff:True. I can't wait for them to go and live in a country of their own. I'm sure the whole of Nigeria will support it. |
napoleon77:Hahahaha... At this point the "APC supporters" are divided into two. The Afonjas and those zombies from the SW would prefer Buhari stay till 2019. The Hausa Fulanis who will pull a Yar Ardua and bring Buhari back by force. Dead or alive. We can deceive ourselves for this country sha o! |
