The responses to this is shocking. The plight of men is never taken seriously. When they cry out in pain, they are ridiculed.
She just has a job, she's not building a spaceship ffs. People are here making it seem like having a job is some sort of sacred calling. The truth is that if something is important to you, you'll make time for it. If seeing someone was important to you, you will find a way to see them.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Is A Nigerian Salary Earner Of 500k Per Month Considered Rich? by barneystinson(m): 3:41pm On May 30, 2022 |
The back and forth on this issue is laughable. It only speaks of the level of poverty in Nigeria that a person earning #500k per month should be considered rich. #500k per month does not make you rich in any part of Nigeria. Yes, you might be in the top 10%, 5% or even 1% of income earners in the country depending on your location but that's just because you live in the poverty capital of the world. An income of less N1.2m per month would be considered as low income in the US based on today's exchange rate. Some may argue that we live in Nigeria and earn naira, so dollar comparisons shouldn't be made. However, that line of thinking conveniently ignores the fact that almost everything we consume in this country is imported and paid for in dollars. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Is A Nigerian Salary Earner Of 500k Per Month Considered Rich? by barneystinson(m): 3:08pm On May 30, 2022 |
franchasofficia: From experience, such steady monthly take home income as a single man in Nigeria will afford you most lifestyles that qualifies one as being rich; from 1 or 2 foreign vacation a year to acquiring your dream car after working for like 3 years to errecting your own duplex after 4 to 5 years on the job Fair enough. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Is A Nigerian Salary Earner Of 500k Per Month Considered Rich? by barneystinson(m): 9:39am On May 30, 2022 |
franchasofficia: 500k a month is supposed to be average income for a middle class person in Nigeria not rich.
You are a middle class citizen especially if you are still single.
If you are single, the income that qualifies you as rich in Nigeria is 2.5million and above monthly take home.
If you are married, it means 3.5million and above monthly take home, anytime less means you are a middle class not rich.
But to be realistic, you are not earning badly based on Nigerian situation, but don't let that bobo you, you still have a long way to go cos I have an elder bro who works for a big multinational and he earns around 1.5m monthly take home and believe me, he is not close to others running their own companies and earning heavily, so he still sees himself as struggling. Interesting take. How did you arrive at 2.5m? What factors or variables did you consider to get that specific number? |

NamelessOGBENI: Chilvary has a new name once it applies to the women's world.
Peruse through the thread closely, you'll see some of the Eves passing the comments are speaking from both sides of their mouth, ready to support the claims with what is obtainable in the manosphere but not ready to provide a rational explanation to why some of them are wired that way.
I just don't know why I hate engaging ladies in talks like this, most of 'em will clutch at any available straw just to sound credible and legit in their emotionally charged outbursts.
For a start, ask a lady to read' The Manipulated Man' and 'The Power Of The Pusssy' after reading, ask ask what does she think about both books and you will be shell-shocked. My brother. The Manipulated Man should be recommended reading for all men @ 18. I read it a few months ago and my eyes were opened. It made me realize and appreciate my value more as a man. I also got to respect and adore my father a lot more. To think that the author is a woman makes it even more interesting. I will check out The Power Of The Pusssy too. Stay woke Kings. |

Christianity Etc › Re: 4 Reasons I'm Considering Becoming An Atheist by barneystinson(m): 10:05am On Dec 31, 2019 |
emrain: Religion is not about heaven and hell nor God and Satan.
The stories in religious books are there to help teachers teach children how to survive peacefully and harmoniously with others.
Religion was all about survival. Sadly not anymore.
The modern world believes Abrahamic religions have outlived their usefulness because they've killed God.
There's no longer anything to fear, so many people no longer have reasons to endure the pain of this world. No hope of eternal life. Surprisingly, Slave morality is on a rapid rise in disguise.
Hope has become a fraud.
Empathy is only employed when it's convenient. The things our fathers were ashamed of are what we celebrate today.
Religious leaders live out their grandiose fantasy at the expense of their sheeple because they've replaced God.
Is atheism the answer? From my experience, I don't think so.
Most atheists in religious countries are usually apathetic and in some cases bitter. This doesn't help anybody, not even the atheists themselves.
The easiest way to save Africans from modern religious manipulators (if you care) is to become very religious and inspire the sheeple in bondage to be more educated and see for themselves that God is dead and it's time to move on.
How do you do this? Become a Sunday school teacher, preacher etc. Intentionally expose your audience to thought-provoking books and materials that helped you come to terms with reality. While at it, always emphasize on empathy and how our collective survival and advancement depends on it.
In the end, liberating Education is what we need. Not apathy, elitism, bitterness, etc that comes with being an atheist in this part of the world.
PS- Good/bad fortune has nothing to do with God. It has everything to do with you and the people you surround yourself with. Interesting comment there. Could you please share the names of any thought-provoking books on the subject you may have read? |

Lanre is THE man. I was livid the night I was forced to find Lanre online after Mayorall had struck my very last nerve with his utterly despicable customer management. And I haven't looked back since. Lanre's been the best shipping service I have patronized by a mile. A breath of fresh air. Last time out, he adviced me to get an item from Jumia instead of Amazon to save cost. This meant him foregoing his shipping fee but I guess the man's got his eyes on the bigger picture. Enough said. DavidTheGeek: Some girls do lack sense of humor...
BUT your plan for the call wasn't tight.
1. When you guys met at the office did she show any sign that she might be interested in you?
2. Was your conversation with her lively and did you make an impression on her?
I bet NO.
So it simply means she has forgotten you.. Waiting for 3 days based on some rule is a NO NO NO.. Only wait if you've made a good 1st impression on the girl. By good, i mean really good.
So starting with "Hi, I know you've been expecting my call?" is lame.
Also, you should have told her who you are... cuz she doesn't recall. Do you know the number of guys she gave her number in the past 3 days?!
She: *blank* (So who am I speaking with?)
You: The cute guy you gave your number at so so so and so.. Remember? (before she answers quickly chip in) [YOUR NAME], the guy you were secretly admiring in your heart.
Now if she has a good sense of humor, she'll laff a little and say something defensive. If she doesn't, she'll just say something defensive.
In both cases, You can reply with: Hahaha i know you'll deny, anyway bla bla bla ... (move on to some other topic)
Use this only when the conversation is flowing well. AND even when she says she promise don't tell her immediately. Spin her response and tell her the way she responded it seems like she has started falling already.
You shouldn't have sent a text.
Overall, your plan wasn't tight that's why this didn't go well. Top analysis. You just might become the Don's greatest student. Well-done. |

Everything here is pure experience. Live!

N that ur convo? Top notch! I cudnt hv dont it any beta! Felt like i was reading one of my classic encounters Was jolted to reality though wen u stated i know what i was doing.
Kul stuff.
More inputs gee Three words: Real recognise real. @bolded, I'm very honoured but like John the Baptist said of the Messiah, the straps of the Don's sandals I am not worthy to untie, let alone draw comparisons with! Pls do not relent in your quest to teach the male folk the ways of men. By way of update, I still haven't physically met with the babe I told you guys about but it's a done deal. WhatsApp chats, phone calls, video calls etc. every other day of the week (as my schedule permits, of course). Here's an excerpt from one of our chats: Me: Morning. Slept well? Her: Yeah. Was so tired. Had to sleep yesterday. Me. I imagined so. Pele. Her: Thanks. But what were you doing yesterday? Where were you sef? Me: I went out to buy some bread. Then I realised a champions league game was on, so I caught the second half of it. Her: And you couldn't leave it to attend to me. Well-done. (She had called while I was watching the game and I told her I was busy)Me: That's a girlfriend privilege. You know this already. Her: I am a girl who is your friend. So that equals I'm your girlfriend. Does that not suffice?Me: Nope. Until you properly become one. Her: Fine! Me: So let me make you my girlfriend. Let me make your dream come true. Her: Lol. Or is it your dreams that will come true? Just say it as it is. I won't laugh at you or make yanga for you. Me: Lol. If I went after you, you wouldn't laugh or 'make yanga' for me. You'd be too busy trying to find your footing as you fall. Her: That find my footing while I fall. You are funny! Me: You like funny abi? Her: Yes. Me: The funny thing is you're trying to find your footing as we speak... and I haven't even gone after you yet. And she fired back as usual... So, you can pick up the obvious hint @ the bolded response. It's only a matter of time now until we physically meet and consummate this relationship. |
