She sent me a friend request on fb and I accepted this Ibadan beauty. Months rolled by , conflicts ensued and we eventually broke up yesterday . In the course of our relationship ,I applied for a Federal Govt Job on her behalf and luckily she landed this plum job today after two months of frantic efforts.

Take the sworn affidavit to the bank you did your Bvn to correct the date of birth.

Ok thanks but the bank insisted on the ID card even when I gave them the declaration of age I have been using.
Also, remember that NIMC synchronised all bvn with their records. So despite using 1988 during my NIMC Reg, it showed 1986 when the bank entered my NIN

See firstly there is nothing your voters ID can do to your bank registration at the first place they just need means of identification and it may be during the filling of your form that you made the mistake because they will never use the date of birth on your card

Really? The Customer Rep insisted I bring that same ID before they can change the DOB.
Note also, that during my NIMC Reg in 2014, I used 1988 so how come when the bank entered my NIN it showed 1986?
Please advise me on the next step. Should I print a fake voter's card? Again, if I correct that of the bank, will the NIMC also be automatically corrected?
Shld I concentrate on pursuing d NIMC change or BVN ?

In 2005, I opened my first bank account with my first voter's card and the DOB on it was 1988. I printed my first bvn in 2016 and was surprized to see 1986. I have complained and tried to rectified it without success because I was told to produce the old voter's card which I lost as far back as 2012. This month my pension managers rejected my registration for wrong DOB. I quickly rushed to the bank to correct it and they requested for my NIMC temporary slip. After checking the system, they told me that NIMC synchronised all bvn with NIMC and that my DOB is 1986. I have never used 1986 in any of my bio data and now I was told to do a declaration of age with 1986 or pay 20k to NIMC for correction.

The NIMC correction, I was told will be addressed to the Chairman of the commission and no guarantee of approval.
