Tragedy struck as a fresh graduate of the Imo State University took his last breath as students poured him water in jubilation of final year completion.

What seem to be jubilation turned into a gathering of sorrow when the victim was running away from a number of students who pursued after him to pour dirty water on him. In that quest to dodge the water being poured on him, he fell into a soak-away pit and got drowned.

The dirty water from the pit however is partially passing a light current as the pit is dug beside their transformer where earth-wire is buried.

Pouring of water has been banned in schools but some students would not obey this.

Many students in this light unaccepted celebration of final papers have been injured, poured acid and some other dangerous liquids while some other persons have gone to the great beyond via this.

I think every final year student should learn from this as well as those who dedicate them to pouring water on university finalists.

This happened in Malaysia and the man battered in the video is alleged to be a Nigerian. From his accent, I think he is truly a Nigerian…sounds more like an Igbo man. I don’t know his offence but he was caught up by some men in the streets of Malaysia and ordered into a waiting car.

The Nigerian kept telling them that they were not police, as they tried to drag him into a waiting car. Then they began to hit him with a batton, shoving, slapping him, punching, kicking him…. He kept asking them ‘what did I do?’ The attackers were about ten in number.

He later wriggled out of their grip and began to run but they caught up with him, gave him more punches and then handcuffed him.

It’s really sad how Nigerians are been treated in this part of the world…)

Unripe plantain porridge is the best for those trying to reduce sugar consumption and it's very healthy for everyone. Some people can't eat unripe plantain cos it's not sugary but Healthwise it is what our bodies need. If prepared with the right ingredients, it is very tasty and if we can eat yam and irish potatoes then eating
unripe plantain shouldn't be a problem.

It can be mashed and served to
babies being introduced to solid foods.

I added vegetables to the ones published before but didn't add to this. This meal, when prpared with goat meat gives a very yummy aroma. Adding scent leavesmakes it best for women who have just given birth as they eat and drink the porridge. A little uziza seeds too can make a great difference and for those who like locust beans, just add a little and enjoy the rich taste with a difference.

Plantain porridge tastes better when cooked till soft and a bit thick. I do not add crayfish to plantain porridge and there is no reason for that. For thos who like their plantain fairly ripe, you may not enjoy the porridge like when you cook with very green unripe plantain. The sizes can be chopped smaller or longer than mind depending on how you like your porridge.

There is war going on twitter right now over popular blogger Linda Ikeji's blog, in fact as we talk Google has pulled down some of her post after a twitter user said he had asked Google to pull down her post for copyright and Plagiarism. He also listed some of other international blogs such as TMZ, DailymailUK that she copied some of their news word to word without authorization.

Some twitter users were on the defensive side of the popular blogger while some says she need to be penalized for plagiarism.

For me I think almost all bloggers are guilty of this not just Linda Ikeji, but since she is more popular, all eyes are fixed on her and more to do with the Range Rover SUV that she bought recently..Many people thinks she makes money now and has to follow the right procedure.... According to music activist Lawyer Uduak she listed 2 mistakes Linda Ikeji made which are;
1. Not incorporating as a business to shield her from personal liability.

We even advise each other in our relationships but we never dated or have any plans to date. Our paths met in the UK after I left New York where I attended the NEA Awards, and as best friends, we moved together and visited places together in London and that's all it is. She is a very wonderful person, nice to a fault and very deep, we are always there for each other, we just have a great relationship going far back as the 90s.
Please note that she is in a serious relationship and I owe her partner in high esteem, I am not a fan of being in the News thus my low profile but couldn't help but comment on this. True she has a wonderful relationship with a very loving and caring man, true she just acquired a range rover to her collections (which is not a big deal or a news to be published) and am so glad she is growing in the industry and her personal life but the false is, I am not just the man, if I am, I will be proud to say so because Ruth is a wonderful being and can't be compared or regarded generally, any man who has her in his life and cant boast about it is a fool. She is my friend, my sister and my family, way deeper than any other relationship, we appreciate what we share because it has kept us as good friends till date. Generator fumes has killed a man, his wife and all his 3 children in Ipoyewa community of Ikorodu, Lagos. The bodies of the family was discovered by neighbours last Friday September 12th in their home. All five suffocated to death after inhaling fumes from a generator which they’d kept in their room. According to neighbours, the man bought the generator just two days before the unfortunate incident and was afraid it will be stolen if left outside so he kept it inside his 2-room apartment.
When the family failed to come out late Friday morning, a neighbour peeped through their window, saw bodies, and alerted others. They broke down the door to discover the horror. And when I say horror, I mean horror. The photos are really graphic so please be warned.
Residents of the community are blaming the family’s deaths on lack of power in the area. They claim the last time they had light was 3 years ago, that every house in the area uses a generator. They said they have called on the government many times to help them with light but their efforts have yielded no fruit. Wahala wa o, lol. Osun State Gubernatorial candidates, PDP’s Omisore and labour Party aspirant refused to honour a debate organised by an International Republican Institute yesterday in the State. The debate was billed to be broadcasted live on Osun State Broadcasting Corporation Osogbo, but Omisore and the other aspirant shunned it.
The sitting governor, Rauf Aregbesola who was said to have gone to Mecca for the lesser hajj but cut short his trip and returned to honour the debate, and was the only candidate seated. So the debate turned out to be a form of interview. Continue below......But trust APC to release a statement regarding this (find it after the cut in parts). Hmm, if this had happened in a more civilized country, we already know who the winner is, lol.
“The PDP’s gubernatorial candidate in the August 9 election in Osun, Iyiola Omisore, squandered a golden opportunity to confront the incumbent governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, in a public radio debate when he ran away from participating.
“Osun citizens had waited with bated breath to hear Omisore articulate his accusations against the governor on such issues as the debt profile of the state, the school reform programme and the vexed issue of capital flight.
“But it turned out to be almost an interview and not a debate because Omisore ran away.
“However, Aregbesola advanced his arguments virtually without challenge that the best thing to have happened in Osun since it was created are his programmes which the PDP wants to destroy.”
The media aide of the LP candidate, Mr. Kayode Oladeji, when contacted said that his principal did not shun the debate because he sent his running mate to represent him, when he had a very urgent and equally important assignment he had to attend to. His running mate was however not allowed to represent him, as no representative was welcomed.

Doctors in India have extracted 232 teeth from the mouth of a 17-year-old boy in a seven-hour operation.

Ashik Gavai was brought in with a swelling in his right jaw, Dr Sunanda Dhiware, head of Mumbai's JJ Hospital's dental department, told the BBC. The teenager had been suffering for 18 months and travelled to the city from his village after local doctors failed to identify the cause of the problem.
Doctors eventually described his condition as "very rare" and "a world record"and diagnosed it as a complex composite odontoma where a single gum forms lots of teeth. Continue... Dr Dhiware said:

It's a sort of benign tumour. At first, we couldn't cut it out so we had to use the basic chisel and hammer to take it out. Once we opened it, little pearl-like teeth started coming
out, one-by-one. Initially, we were collecting them, they were really like small white pearls. But then we started to get tired. We counted 232 teeth."


The surgery, conducted on Monday, involved two surgeons and two assistants. Ashik now has 28 teeth. Describing Ashik's case as "very rare", Dr Dhiware said she had "not seen anything like this before in my 30-year career", but said she was "thrilled to get such an exciting case".

"According to medical literature available on the condition, it is known to affect the upper jaw and a maximum of 37 teeth have been extracted from the tumour in the past. But in Ashik's case, the tumour was found deep in the lower jaw and it had hundreds of teeth."


Ashik's father Suresh Gavai was quoted by the Mumbai Mirror as saying that his son complained of severe pain a month ago.

Claire Leeson is 24 years old and "up to her eyeballs" in debt. But her money problems don't come from school loans or car payments: They come from her desire (need?) to look like Kim Kardashian, whom Leeson idolizes above all others.

Leeson has spent over 30 thousand dollars to transform herself into her idol. She pays for it all with credit cards and is now in extreme debt due to her transformation. She's even been summoned to court, but that's not stopping her. Leeson's now looking into more extreme measures to emulate Kim. Her latest plan is to have fat transplants to her butt so that she can achieve Kim's glorious derriere without the silicone prosthetics she currently wears.

Leeson told This Morning that her parents are worried about her, but she doesn't plan on ending her transformation anytime soon. When asked about ways that she relates to Kim, Leeson said "We have the same amount of siblings...we have the same kind of arguments."
