After filling the new form , all you have to do is call the embassy and give them the new code for them to update it on your appointment confirmation.

I am going for an interview next month, but i made few mistakes on my DS-160 which i have booked an appointment with, though i have filled another and corrected the mistake. i want to call in to inform them of the new bar code number before the appointment date.

But my fear is 1. Hope they wont compare the information on the 2 forms before changing it. 2. Hope the VO wont notice that i changed DS-160 and also wanna compare the information on the 2 forms on the interview day.

Certificate of Qualification can only give maximum of 50 points. It does not give 600 points.

But they have it as Job Offer or Certificate of Qualification on the Site: Both carry the same 600 points. So I think it should exempt me from providing POF.

Yea! I know Obtaining a Certificate of Qualification isn't a walk in the park... Is not that easy to obtain...and that was why I was thinking and according to CIC that it should be the as Job Offer since they have it as JOB OFFER OR CERTIFICATE OF QUALIFICATION.

I want to ask if anyone has tried applying under this programme and if yes, I want to ask if Proof of Funds is really required for the trades class if you are able to secure a Certificate of Qualification from a trade Regulatory body in Canada?

As for insurance, you need to make that at an insurance company in Europe and for accommodation, I will be living with a relative in Europe, so I submitted to the embassy the documents of my relative's house in Europe.

loverencha: The school I will be attending in Austria did not need legalization of my documents before issuing admission letter. But most of the schools in Austria demand for legalization of your documents before issuing admission letters, especially the german speaking schools in Austria. You can check your school in Austria to find out exactly what they want. But in the end, all students who want to study in Austria must legalize their documents because the Austrian embassy will only accept legalized documents for visa/residence permit applications. No exceptions.

2. Did you send your Original results to the school? because most German Speaking school i submitted an online pre-registration to are demanding i get my O level legalised at the embassy before they can issue admission letter.

3. How much is the minimum amount you held in your account for legalization.

I contacted the Embassy, they told me they cannot legalize WAEC or NECO result alone, that i have to Legalize all my documents for Visa application at once.

Am confused please whats your view on this.

The Austrian embassy already sent my application for residence permit to the Austrian ministry in Austria and I have not heard from them, this is one month now... Please, who knows how long this takes for residence permit application? This Austrian application stuff is soooo long and complicated, from foreign affairs, to ministry of education to legalization to lawyer to verification..(I've done them all) I don tire... I think I am beginning to grow white hair(lol) and I hope I don't get hypertension or high blood pressure!! haha.. I hope my efforts have not been in vein ohh!! Because I already did all the embassy asked for.. But why is it taking so long time to get answer from the Austrian ministry if my residence permit has been granted or not. how u doin? please can i get some information from you, can u tell me how you went through the Authentication process at the ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Legalization process at the Embassy. Did u submit all your documentation for Legalization before you got your admission letter or after u got your admission letter? How did you go about the Travel Insurance and accomodation requirement?
