You can try to twist the narrative as much as you can, but majority of people in developed countries know that Words like invasion, replacement e.t.c used in describing immigration (legal and ilegal) points to the great replacement theory. Answer the question, would you want illegal immigration to be curtailed in that scenario and would that automatically make you racist? Don't get me wrong, there are definitely extremists and racists out there who don't want more minorities coming in but that doesn't suddenly make any discussion of the topic a dogwhistle. That's why I brought up the topic of radical Islam, if a madman goes and shoots up a Mosque does that suddenly make all condemnation of radical Islam a dogwhistle? Does that mean that everyone against radical Islam tacitly approves of that act? |

Asking you to call me "They" is like telling you to call me by my name, but if you don't like it don't call me at all. I don't ask you to call me any pronoun. I look like a guy and if anyone calls me "she", they'll just look stupid because I'm obviously a guy. You don't choose pronouns because pronouns are just words used to substitute nouns and this substitution is done according to context. The context has to do with gender, number, point of view, and whether the noun is animate or inanimate. "They" is genderless, third person, plural, and animate. As you can see, there's very little wiggle room to mess around with this. |

What of after birth and the woman does not want to take care of the kid, cant or does not have any vested emotions for the child... Is she allowed to kill the child? The general argument for the pro-choice side is that because the foetus exists within the body of a woman, said woman has the right to have the foetus removed from her body. In the scenario that you painted, the child has already been born. Therefore, the body autonomy argument is moot. The way the progressives are going, though. Your scenario could actually become a thing in the next couple of decades. |

Unfortunately, this is about me bashing a foetus that is inside me, which kind of invades on my privacy a little bit too much don't you think? I kind of don't want the content of my womb subjected to democracy is how I see it, they might come for the content of my mind next! While this is true, there is still a case to be made that the foetus inside has a right to life. For that reason tbh, I'm still a bit iffy on late-term abortions. However, at the end of the day, women should be able to make that decision for themselves. budaatum: I did some research. Abortions have been reducing over the past few decades, and most abort the day or two after, and that's apart from those using barriers to conception. If true, then this is the best possible outcome of the law. Abortion should be safe, legal, rare—and if I may add—early. |

IMHO the supreme court work is supposed to decide on the legality of the laws as per the constitution. Roe vs Wade entered into uncharted territory where it created a law that abortion is a human right. I believe it is not. An example. I impregnate a woman and I'm willing to foot all bills She decides to kill the baby without my input. The current ruling wants states to create laws regulating abortion. Meaning that it would most only be illegal in states where the majority want it that way. |
