budaatum:It goes even further than that. Most power is upheld by the implicit threat of physical violence. Murder is bad, stealing is bad. What do we do to offenders? We send armed men to deny them some of their rights. Look at it this way. For example the LGBT community is persecuted in Nigeria. I believe it is moral for them to have equal rights in this country but my belief isn't enough to change anything. Why? Because I, and the people who think like me don't have the numbers orthe power to effect that change. Until a critical mass of people support them, nothing will happen. |
stanech:With allies like the EU, who needs enemies? |
budaatum:That happens to everyone. History is cyclical and empire eventually meets its downfall. It's neither moral nor fair, it's just true. |
budaatum:Not hypocrisy but power. You get to make the rules when you're strong. America is pretty evil but better them than China or Russia. |
stanech:It was inevitable |
stanech:I agree that Trump is a stronger presence than Biden, mostly due to his bombastic personality. Most countries think twice before messing with him and it's no coincidence that Russia took break on their invasion of Ukraine while he was in office. However, Trump is no longer in office and Putin knows he's dealing with an establishment guy. Establishment guys are more professional and 'presidential' but that makes them predictable. Russia knows what to expect from America now. Now let's look at the hand Biden is working with. The American population is shell-shocked from all the pointless wars of the past, China is salivating at the chance to take Taiwan once America is weakened or distracted, the EU has grown fat and useless among others. Not to mention, American media and academia have been deeply influenced by the unholy combination of corpo and foreign commie money, leaving the people fractured, unpatriotic, fat, and angry at each other. Hell, the military seems to be more focused on diversity and inclusion—which isn't a bad thing in itself but becomes a problem when it's done at the expense of strength. I think he's right to sit this one out for now. |
stanech:What would you rather have Biden do then? Send his own people to die? Trump's unpredictability worked in his favour and made countries less likely to get uppity the truth is that POTUS is in a very dicey position right now. A full-scale war with Russia is a major gamble for the American populace, would it unite the people against a common opponent or would is irrevocably damage an already fractured nation? Furthermore, let's not forget about China, an even bigger looming threat that would pounce on any opportunity to take Taiwan and control the semiconductor market. With America distracted, who's going to stop them? Sanctions and humanitarian aid are the most strategic options as it stands right now. Save warfare for when it's absolutely necessary, like in the case of Taiwan. The EU is hamstrung because of their energy dependence on Russia, but that's what you get for dealing with the devil. I'm not the biggest fan of Biden but I really hope he succeeds and wish him the best in this matter. |
gambojimeta:Lol gottem |
gambojimeta:I'd post a picture of Scooby Doo but I don't want you to have an accident |
gambojimeta:Zoophile strikes again |
gambojimeta:Cope |
Ibime:No counter protesters except for racists. Literally chimpanzee mentality |
benalvino3:I didn't even know Tommy Robinson was the EDL guy. Wasn't it Tommy Robinson that uncovered "Asian" child rape gangs that the English police admitted to be afraid of investigating because of racial implications? Tommy Robinson is no good though. Always seemed to me more in it for himself than the victims. One time, he almost sabotaged one of the trials for social media clout |
Ibime:It's a caption a pic, in the pic he is alone and surrounded by people who are mobbing. He's described as far right because he's a counter protester at a BLM riot. Where is the evidence of him with of the mentioned groups? The article makes as many associations as possible but can't categorically tell you because they don't have the evidence either. Think NPC, think. LOL @ "Japanese cartoons". Tell me you're a boomer without telling me you're a boomer |
Ibime:So you can't provide the evidence, typical. Also, what's your beef with Igbo people? |
Ibime:This is the calibre of people calling you a coon. Can't even read. Oi codger, show me where in the article they said the man was a part of the EDL, which is what you claimed. Put up or shut up. |
Ibime:Quote it then. Have some balls, w*nker. |
Ibime:Where's the evidence that the guy who got beat up was a part of the EDL? You know, the reason you jumped into this conversation. |
Ibime:What's with the casual tribalism? Can you provide evidence that they are though? Can you provide evidence that the man was part of that group? No and no. You just wanted to justify a man getting beaten up rioters and failed hard. Now walk away with your tail between your legs. |
Ibime:Bullsh*t. Article never even mentions EDL. The man was branded far right simply because he came to counterprotest. Britain First may have its issues but it isn't a neo-nazi group but NPCs gonna NPC, I guess. According to the article: "After the deadline, there were further scenes of violence at Waterloo station when fights broke out as anti-racism activists attacked thugs who were trying to catch trains homes, according to witnesses." OK, so the "far right thugs" we're obeying instructions and going home when the deadline was reached, while the blm rioters lay in wait to ambush them. |
Ibime:Source: your arse What about the old man getting beaten up, huh? Probably three baby Hitlers in a costume, right? |
gambojimeta:The second picture is someone calling Trudeau an assassin. The SS symbol accuses Trudeau of fascism. Fascism bad, Nazis bad. Man say Trudeau bad. I know it's not easy for your kind but I'm here to help |
gambojimeta:That's a really funny meme. However, people with sub 80 IQ find it difficult to interpret pictures so let me explain it to you. The meme makes fun of Chainsaw Man's rabid fanbase, portraying them as people who would forgo having sex just to defend their favourite manga online. This is funny because sex good (I'm putting it in a way you can understand) but manga fan too obsessed to notice. The caption says that Chainsaw Man fans aren't getting laid anyway. This is joke. Joke funny. Joke make big exaggeration and big generalization for funny. |
gambojimeta:You seem to really like that comment. It's a line from the song "Hunger Games" by Death Grips. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSiKDlpv0XI The guy in the pic is the lead singer (rapper) of the group, MC Ride |
DissTroy:Not quite, these were my words: BasedUsername:Even the example you gave contradicts your point. It clearly established prior intent and actionable steps taken towards achieving the intended goal, enough to reasonably assume that the crime was about to be committed. Even then, the perp in your example still wouldn't be arrested for arson but possibly attempted arson. However, in the case of the truckers, can we establish intent to beat old people up and show measures taken towards that goal? |
gambojimeta:I was born into a family of non\-yeeters. Every morning before I went to school my father would say, "if I ever find out that you've hit that yeet, I'll thump ya." "Yes, pa," I would always reply. It was a regular occurrence for him to burst into my room unannounced while I was relaxing or doing homework. "Y'all hitting that *yeet?*" he would seeth. "No, pa," I would answer. "Good." He would then walk out the room and shout, "If I ever catch ya, it's a thumpin'." It was a difficult upbringing. I had seen my friends hittin' that yeet at school, and many of them encouraged me to partake. I would swallow my pride. "No thanks. I don't wanna catch a thumpin' from pa." As a result, I was an outcast. A loner. I became depressed, knowing that I would never be like my peers, I would never fit in \- I would never hit that yeet. One day, when I was still but a wee lad, I became curious. I was in my room, watching Instagram videos of fellas my age hittin' that yeet all over town without a care in the world. My intentions got the better of me. I stood up, my knees trembling. Carefully, I leaned onto my right foot and raised my hand in the air. I breathed in. "YEEEEE*EEEEE*EEEEET!" My father burst from my closet. "I told you I'd thump ya if I ever caught you hittin' that *yeet*, nibba," he ejaculated. Then, he thumped me. I haven't hit that yeet since. Until today. This morning was my father's funeral. At the procession, my brother asked me to say a few words. I told him I only needed one. With confidence, I approached the podium. I gazed out upon the gathering of sad faces. I cleared my throat and leaned into the microphone. "Yeet," I spake. Suddenly, my father leapt from his hand\-crafted mahogany coffin, the gunshot wound still in his chest. He sprinted up to the podium with the energy of a man without a gunshot wound in his chest. "Y'all hittin' that dirty fuckin' *yeet* at *my* funeral?" he ejaculated. He raised his hand to thump me. "Not so fast, pa." I grabbed his hand. "Yaint thumpin' no mo'." My father looked at me with eyes as open as the gunshot wound in his chest. A tear fell from his right eye, which also had a monocle. "The student becomes the teacher," he said. "The student becomes the *yeet*cher," I corrected him. |
DissTroy:"Intention to commit murder" is not the same as a murder charge. You wont be treated like a murderer and if convicted, you won't face the same amount of jail time |
sanpipita:You can't arrest someone for a crime before they commit the crime. This is real life, not Minority Report. |
sanpipita:It's a d*ck move to harass people and heckle them to take off their masks but I hope we can both agree that that's a little different from mobbing a guy and beating him bloody. I hope we can agree that it's different from beating up a grandpa |
Tdotbluejays1:Trudeau is lucky that he isn't the president of France. Revolution is in their blood Besides the RCMP is going to have a helluva time moving all those trucks away |
sanpipita:I mean, they did a little more than just block the road and honk their horns.

Disclose.tv NEW-Bill Gates: "Sadly the virus itself - particularly the variant called Omicron - is a type of vaccine, creates both B cell and T cell immunity and it's done a better job of getting out to the world population than we have with vaccines." https://twitter.com/disclosetv/status/1494810193175195652 So I guess it's cool to talk about herd immunity again |
