Mobile technology have been misuse by students all over the world, For example "Everyone knows the reality of night mobile packages in Nigeria, Pakistan and other countries . There is a trend developed among young generation to talk with opposite gender (boyfriends/girlfriends) via night packages, which was obviously developed by cellular companies. The discarded cell phones become a source of environmental pollution if they are not recycled. There are toxic chemicals like, lead, zinc, mercury etc in the electronic components of mobile phones. The brominated flame retardants used in computers and mobile phones are toxic if enters into the body. If these toxic chemicals accumulate, they leach into the water bodies and finally get into the body of animals including human beings through drinking water. Prevention of e-waste and promotion of Green electronics is a new challenge in the field of electronics.

5. People don’t attend concerts, iPads do

Singyin Lee an editor Filed in Culture and Internet section of hongkiat said he came across this beauty the other day. In the shot below, there’s supposed to be a recital or a concert… he said he can’t tell because all the iPads are in the way. Overzealous parents were trying to get a video of their children, who were performing right in front of them.

Because of this, all the parents at the back can see are the back of other people’s heads and outstretched iPads, the kids have to make do with the back of smartphones and iPads instead of the proud faces of their parents.

To say the truth , some people have turn this into a daily business , by simply adding unknown person in to a group{guessing of number}...please lets stop this bad habit...

3.Don’t Talk To Just One Person

You met that young damsel in a group, and you decided message her on that group..then you are making a mistake because You know why you made this chat right? If you have something specific to tell him or her it is advisable have a separate chat outside of the group.
4. Don’t Spam.

Please don't send unsolicited messages (spam), especially advertising, in the name of looking for web traffic to your blog or site.

it is true that we all reason differently , opinion may differ , and disagreements will probably pop up, staying silent means you take yourself out of the decision-making process – so don’t complain when things do not happen your way if you prefer to keep your opinions to yourself.
6.Don’t Message At midnight

Midnight are meant to rest our brain(sleep).. it is not advisable to send message that very time.. if you are doing that , please stop it .
Unless it’s an emergency that involves life and/or death, don’t distrupt everyone’s sleeping hours just because you can’t wait until the next morning to send your text.
7.Don’t Bring Up Irrelevant Topics

On a separate but related note, keep to the purpose of the chat. Is the chat made to discuss a group project? Stick to the scope of your assignment until the job gets done; you can fool around once the goal has been achieved.

Are you discussing on a possible college class reunion? Stick to that and leave news of how everyone is doing for your gathering. Anything else outside of the chat’s purpose can be dealt with in a private chat, or better yet, in person.

While no one wants to think about his or her own death, this kind of option is going to become increasingly common as we share more of our lives online. Facebook follows Google in providing this type of posthumous functionality, and we expect other sites to follow suit.
As Facebook says, “When a person passes away, their account can become a memorial of their life, friendships and experiences.” While you might initially cringe at such an option, remember: It could provide comfort to your friends and family.
Below, we provide an overview of what a legacy contact is, and what you should consider when choosing yours.
What is a legacy contact?

Who should I choose?

Your legacy contact will only have limited access to your account, and will not be able to read messages, but he or she will have the power to pin posts to the top of your Facebook page, respond to friend requests, and change your profile and cover photo. If you grant permission, your legacy contact will also be able to download your posts and photos.
Facebook lets you designate anyone your legacy contact, but your contact needs to be on Facebook. This will rule out parents and family members who aren’t on the social network — then again, those who aren’t particularly digitally savvy might not be up for the task anyway.
A friend or significant other is a plausible choice, but you have to be 100% sure the person you choose is ready for the responsibility — there is no way for your legacy contact to delegate the task once you’ve passed away. It’s also important to consider someone you know you’ll stay in touch with for many years to come.
For anyone lucky enough to have them, a sibling or close cousin might work well. Family is (theoretically) less likely to shirk the responsibility, and if they’re close in age, chances are they’re digitally clued in and already on Facebook.

Wireless technology in vehicles is far from secure, potentially giving hackers the ability to take control of automobiles or even steal personal data, a report from a senator’s office has revealed. Millions of cars and trucks are vulnerable to hacking through wireless technologies that could jeopardize driver safety and privacy, a report released late Sunday says.
Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.) is warning drivers that automobile companies are not doing enough to protect their customers’ privacy.

Markey asked for data from 19 automakers, 16 of which complied.
The report is based on data received from BMW, Fiat Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar Land Rover, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche, Subaru, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo.
Aston Martin, Lamborghini and Tesla were the companies that failed to comply with the senator’s request for information.
The senator’s office discovered that virtually every newer vehicle for sale includes “wireless technologies that could pose vulnerabilities to hacking or privacy intrusions.”
The report, which was released Monday, also found security was lax when it comes to foiling remote access to a vehicle’s electronic systems. The report describes such security practices to be “inconsistent and haphazard.” The report added that many automakers were either unaware or unable to report on past hacking occurrences.
The report also detailed how auto companies not only track drivers’ behavior but also gather and store the data, often without customers’ knowledge or consent.
According to the data collected by the senator’s office, nine automakers use third-party companies to amass vehicle data — and some of the automakers even transmit the collected data to third-party data centers.
“This reveals that a majority of vehicle manufacturers offer features that not only record but also transmit driving history wirelessly to themselves or to third parties,” the report said.
Collected information includes driver locations and destinations, distances and times traveled, where a vehicle is parked and info entered into navigation systems. Vehicles’ diagnostic data is also recorded.
While none of the automakers would comment on the report, the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers insisted the companies do all they can to ensure privacy and safety.
“Automakers believe that strong consumer data privacy protections and strong vehicle security are essential to maintaining the continued trust of our customers,” spokesman Wade Newton told the New York Times. “Auto engineers incorporate security solutions into vehicles from the very first stages of design and production — and security testing never stops.”

Newsweek’s Twitter account got hacked 2 days ago by a group declaring its affiliation with the Islamic State of Iraqand Syria.

Between 10:45 and 10:59 a.m. on February 10, the hackers sent a brief barrage of tweets which, they claimed, exposed official state secrets.
The hackers changed the @Newsweek account’s profile picture to show a picture of a man, whose head is obscured by a tightly-wound scarf. The banner showed the word CyberCaliphate under which was the message‘Je su IS IS.’
A tweet posted two days ago threatened First Lady Michelle Obamawith a “bloody valentine’s day,” saying, “we’re watching you, your girls and your husband.” The magazine’s account then tweeted a series of images that the hackers said were “confidential documents:”

Newsweek managing editor Kira Bindrim confirmed the hack in a brief statement: “We can confirm that Newsweek’s Twitter account was hacked this morning, and have since regained control of the account. We apologize to our readers for anything offensive that might have been sent from our account during that period, and are working to strengthen our newsroom security measures going forward.”
The FBI is investigating the hack due to the threatening nature of the tweets targeting the Obamas.CyberCaliphate is also suspected to be responsible for the hacks of the International Business Times’ website and the Twitter account of the Latin Times.
