The fact that reasonable people know that sowore is everything they claim OBI is in term of integrity is a pointer to the fact that OBIDIENT movement is a complete Igbo-christian movement for actualization of an Igbo and a Christian president.
How will "reasonable youth"...not "youth wing of various churches in the country" + "onaeze Ndigbo" youth wing abandon SOWORE and claim 62 yro former governor of Anambra who prostituted from APGA to PDP to LP dined and wined with the establishment is their breath of fresh air and Candidate of the youth .? 😆

IPOB TERRORISTS could not stomach the fact that 2(Lagos and Ibadan) of the 3 largest cities in Nigeria are domiciled in southwest. So, they try to deyorubanize(Lagos) one and downplaying the other (Ibadan). obi58: I'm sure sir that you can read. Go ahead and read all I have written beforehand.
Succinctly put I have advocated against destruction of people's properties and businesses because same are cited in residential areas.
I have also advocated for a need to tweak government approach towards these infractions with a view to prioritising keeping people's legitimate business afloat in this difficult economic climate whilst working with these units to address some of the environmental issues highlighted instead of the extreme of relocating businesses and destroying people's properties indiscriminately. When Buhari was in office, several times he wanted to remove subsidy but as a man of the people he knew doing it would make the people suffer. That's why he stayed action for so many years due to public outcry. He also set up social welfare programmes because he wanted his government to have a human face. He didn't get everything right but I think any responsible government should measure the impact of its actions on its people and devise ways to get the best solutions for all.
You are the one who will fail the exam because you just reacted emotively without taking time to understand what I've been talking about!
ps. Forget naptu2 he seems to believe that lasepa is an autonomous body that is not part of the organs of the LASG and as such should operate indiscriminately as they are not accountable to anybody but themselves. All ministries under the government whilst having different functions, work under a single corporate vision as defined by the governor. If the governor cares about the people and wants the best for them, this vision will guide their operations. If his goal is to maximise profit and not the public good, same would be reflected in their operations etc You just want to criticize. Its a very easy thing to do..its cheap! |

Dumb as he may be, he has 6000 followers hailing him. People who also reason with their a..us. The Dumbo forgot that Nigeria also receive remittances from Diaspora much more than what MTN and Airtel get. And who will employ the millions who are dependent on these two telecoms companies.
He should also ask Nigerians to avoid Toyota vehicles and buy Innoson. Sorry, Innoson is an Igboman, so no need to suggest that. What about we abandon DSTV and watch NTA only or better still stop buying Total, shell, etc oil, stop drinking Guinness drinks, Unilever products. Infact we should stop going abroad for medical treatment.
How about we ban foreign rice, foreign clothes, and infact bring all Nigerians abroad home including the Economist so that we conserve the Dollars. I forgot self, foreign airlines should also stop coming to Nigeria. We do not need BA, Emirates, Qatar Air, Ethiopian Airlines, etc because they remit their revenue home. Let us start using only Nigeria Airways. O! Oh! Sorry, that one is moribund, what about Buhari's Air Nigeria?

Victory662: Honestly I don't really understand why Nigeria is finding it difficult to exit this streak of backwardness. Is it overpopulation, lack of resources or just ineptitude of our leaders.
For me, I was thinking it wouldn't be hard to generate enough power to serve the country; especially after considering how much the government spends on generators to power up different agencies. Most times we borrow money as a country to supply generators and listers to power up the government agencies and projects. Can't the borrowed money be invested in power generation which is cheaper, cleaner and could also generate more revenue for the government.
Why can't we have a working refinery owned by the government. I understand crude oil has global price tag but the cost of shipping out crude and refined product back for local consumption could be channeled into something beneficial for the country.
We are eating up our animal hides here while other countries are tanning theirs and selling back to us as heathers. Some of these countries buy this hides from our local markets here.
We have a very expanse of uncultivated land yet we depend so much on importation of food.
Is national security that difficult to achieve?
What about setting up a plastic and ceramic recycling plants, it will clean up our environment and generate money at the same time.
What about establishing a textile industries? Over 200M market is such a good place for textile industry to thrive.
I actually think turning the economy of Nigerian around is not a rocket science because I know so many areas our government is not doing well
What's your opinion? We should go back to regionalism and federalism our founding fathers demanded for before gaining independence. Let each region be responsible for her security and economy..it will stop unnecessary mutual suspicion ! |

This is not a discussion about town planning.
This is a discussion about priorities.
If you ask a Lagosian to choose between having good access roads and schools as compared to whether the shop in front of his house is legal or not there would be only one winner.
Enough already with all this hypocritical playing to the gallery naptu2. Charity begins at home. If you don't know what to do, go to Abia state and educate yourself on what a responsible and resojnsive government should be like instead of getting stuck in frivolous bureaucracy and redtapism which is not serving the people.
Utter tosh you said? Education without functionality is utter tosh and that's what you are currently exhibiting sir unfortunately.
This is an unalienable fact. The economy is currently in tatters. We have finally reached an all time low of $1 to N1520! Let that sink in! This is certainly not the time to be playing politics with people's livelihoods. This is how you people fail exams! The ministry of works is doing theirs, The ministry of environment is doing theirs. Where are the standards when it comes to sanitising lastma? Where are standards when it comes to maintaining BRT buses which are fast beginning to look like blue molues? Have you been to the toilets at the Oshodi bus terminal recently? What's the state of facilities at LASU? LASPOTECH? How many scholarships has LASG provided? Business grants to budding entrepreneurs? What exactly is LASEMA doing to eradicate Agberos which one of the biggest environmental menaces in Lagos state? I hear in Abia state ticketing is now electronic for transporters so there are no Agberos anywhere. Won't this boost government revenue and improve the lives of Lagosians?
My brother, charity begins at home. LASG needs to start first with revamping public infrastructure and improving the quality of social services before they start forming activity walking up and down looking for people's businesses and structures to destroy. Answer those stupid questions yourself na!
