Ibadan is doing better than Port harcourt if you ask me. You find more malls and mega markets. How about real estate ?? How about Night life?? I have lived in both cities and I can tell you. If you are not in GRA ph, you cannot enjoy Night life. In ibadan, you are not restricted to one location.
The city is being underestimated. walahi.Shopping mall dey grow like weed ni.

Ibadan a.k.a IB city. Ibadan, running splash of rust and gold-flung and scattered among seven hills like broken china in the sun. J. P. Clark.

Why is she unique? 1.The city and kano city were the only cities in niger area when the British stepped on niger area soil.

2.The Intellectual capital of the country. a.Houses the country premier university, the university of Ibadan b.Houses the country's premier medical school,Ibadan medical school. c.Houses the country foremost teaching hospital.UCH d.Houses the international headquarters of International Institute for Tropical Agriculture. e.Houses the Nigerian Institute Of Social And Economic Research (NISER) f. National Horticultural Research Institute NIHORT h.J.P Clark, wole soyinka, chinua Achebe developed as literary giants in the city.

3.The Cradle of Nigerian Modernity. a.First TV station in Africa. b.First university in nigeria. c.First modern stadium in sub-saharan Africa(liberty stadium) d.First skyscraper in subsaharan Africa(cocoa house) e.Largest shopping mall in west Africa. f.first modern road in nigeria(Ibadan to Oyo).

4.3rd,if not 2nd largest market in Nigeria after lagos and kano.
5.Largest city in west Africa in term of land mass

6.listed as one of the 5 African cities to watch by financial times of newyork in 2015.

Politics › Re: Nigeria 5 Best Governors Since The 4th Republic (1999-till Date) by Basic123: 5:21pm On May 09, 2017
I agree with the list.I could remember when ameachi was in PDP.he was the only governor they usually use to counter fashola of ACN then.I could remember nairaland thread like "Amaechi's port Harcourt".Immediately he tried to resist GEJ 16>19 permutations he became a bad governor to them.People are hypocrites.we will see truth 19>16 and we will be worshiping falsehoods 16>19.

Ndigbo own 90% of properties in Lagos - Ohaneze
Tinubu owns 90% of properties in Lagos - Ndigbo
Lagos is No-man's land - iPod piglet.

Why are you people cursed with generational confusion and instability?
Their illogicality is second to non.

lolz....they are always as illogical has illogicality itself.
1.yorubas are not to be trusted but FFK,fayose,Dino
melaye, bukola saraki and bode George are their heroes

2.we want biafra but they couldn't demand for it when
their adopted son GEJ was the president.

3.we own lagos but the oba of lagos is not HRM oba
chukwumerije chioma okoro.

4.we want biafra but still participated in 2015 election
in nigeria and they couldn't recall all their sons serving
in leadership capacity in nigeria.

5.They are not coward but their father ojukwu
absconded to ivory coast from war leaving his 3000
000 followers to be massacred.

6.we love ojukwu but the party APGA founded by him
is in comatose while they are embracing PDP founded
by fulanis(babangida and co) all around.

7.APC is a yoruba/fulani party but ken nnamani,kalu
and co have decamped to that same party.

8.we own 75percent of lagos yet tinubu,a yoruba man
is lagos biggest landlord to the again.

9.We are self -reliant!...but they will not stop blame-
shifting(yoruba-betrayed us) as if yoruba had a
convenant with them from Adam

10.Yoruba Muslims are anti-igbo yet bukola saraki,a
yoruba muslim is their hero.

11.we love ojukwu, but when the same ojukwu
contested for president in 2003 they decided to vote
fulani party the PDP .

12.Awolowo orchestrated how we met our waterloo at
the civil war by betraying ojukwu,we must ate him and
his tribesmen but ojukwu described the same awolowo
as "the best president Nigeria never had".

13.Wole soyinka became their sworn enemy and a
mad professor simply because he said the truth by
saying "the former first lady of the country they HATE
is a mear appendages to power".But the same wole
soyinka was imprisoned fighting for the country they
LOVE biafra.
