From my research, I noticed it's owned by Nigerians.

Nigerian firms have not yet shown that they can compete with foreign firms. Especially in areas of technology, skilled staff and capital scale required for infastructure build up and expansion.

That's always the issue. Naira develaution makes the matter worse for indigenous firms. Except they can get huge direct foreign investment.

MTN and Airtel will swallow them in next few months or years.

Glo and T2mobile are shadow walking already.

GTB customer here for over 20 years.
They've really fallen off in service delivery and quality.
I've stopped using my accounts with them for almost 2 years and I'm sure a lot of people have done the same.

My acct with them in is several debits now despite the sums left there for about a month b4 moving it out.

I quitely moved it to Providus Bank. GTbank give headaches with charges.
And the worst thing is that am always afraid my money is not secure with them.

If you do a screenshot of ur account details or transaction log now on their app, it will be captured fully your phone. That's how porous their tools are. They can't even protect their app.

They have compromised quality and no longer recruit competent staff like those days.

But how can you transact $2.1m in cash to a seller without any receipt or electronic transfer, voice/video evidence?

Na wa o. If you really sweat for money, you won't handle it carelessly.

If I am buying anything, even online, as far the price is crossing N100,000 in conversion rate, I make sure I process it carefully.

Treasury bills are sure and secure and will offer you more yields. Even as upfronts to enjoy and plan.

But if you intend to risk putting your money in stocks while hoping for share value increase and dividend overtime, split your fund into 2; then put 60% in TB, and put the remaining 40% in Dangote IPO.
