I'd rather buy Dangote bad fuel than for them to import good fuel.

They know why they are fighting Dangote.

Imagine this, if Dangote gets Nigerian crude in Naira, refines and sells in Nigeria in Naira, Dollars will not be involved and Nigeria will not waste it's FX on importation. Naira value will increase and their dollar rein and corruption will end.

Let's support Nigeria and deal with Dangote later with NNPC refineries and other independent refineries.

That's the only to move Nigeria forward.
It's only a witchcraft-overwhelmed soul that will want a new $19 billion investment to just go down. . But that is how wicked the power players can be in a nation. It's all about self.

I pray it succeeds.

However, the simple thing that needs to be done is just to ensure that its quality output is improved to the required standard. But is that the way they think?
Politics › Re: Documents Show Dangote Deceived Lawmakers, Diesel Quality Worse Than Presented by Basicend:
TK9680:
Please leave his diesel alone. We will take it like that.

Now you will say the solution is to keep importing.

Terrible people
We will not take it like that bro. Even thou I want Dangote refinery to succeed, but he has to keep us, and our environment healthy.

Dangote is just like out politicians; wicked, greedy and selfish. That's the truth. I believe from all I have gathered on this thread that his diesel output is heavy in sulphur. Does he really care? But he knows. .

As long as his pocket continues to swell up.

What I think a reasonable and objective govt and regulatory body should do is to embrace the refinery and ensure that its outputs stays within international requirement. This should not be a public issue, as we are having.

It's a public issue now coz the mafias and Dangote are fighting for dominance of that space.

Hmm, it will be a deep battle in my opinion.

NNPCL is useless, so I am never going to support them either.

Nonsense!

Let's even imagine that your counter-allegation is true, Toyota didn't start producing vehicles that meet global quality in its first year of operation.

Why not work with Dangote till the quality of his diesel improves.

Oil cabal don't want their filthy business to end, at the expense of the country.
Exactly.

That's the point.

Dear Gov. Babajide Danjuma Sanwo-Olu, I think you need to call intellectual people around you and reason together on the possible ways to relief us. The 25% discount on food items is not enough, also the BRT buses are not everywhere in the state. It is only IKORODU people that are enjoying the BRT most, they pay less on a very long journey unlike other route.

Your excellency, if possible, look into energy and see if you can help us to shoulder some % of the bill. My opinion though.
God bless you bro.

Instead of looking into things that will easily benefit all, they will be making gestures into areas that will touch few people. . like you said, reduce utility bills, remove some import duties, reduce PMS price, reduce dollar rate by putting a peg etc.

After the phantom local
government autonomy, who did Tinubu give 20 trucks of rice? Not local government chairmen but same governors.

You partly removed subsidy that's benefiting everybody and gave the money to governors to loot.

Who is fooling who?
But we told you people na. . We warned about these things.

Politics › Re: "Say No To Protest" March Ongoing In Lagos by Basicend:
I am not in support of protest, but seriously, Tinubu is heartless to have floated the naira aimlessly and remove subsidy at a time most Nigerians were heavily struggling to buy food and pay for utilities.

It a very selfish move just for personal gains. Despite having made billions of dollars out of Nigerians.

He destroyed an entire economy without patience. We keep having inept and very greedy leaders.

Who concocts all this rubbish and flaked pieces?

You know deep down your lying troat that the current government is paying even more subsidy than the Buhari era.

Let's say subsidy was even removed indeed, how has the Tinubu led government allocated it's proceeds? Have you seen any signs that this lot can manage funds with equity and accountability?

I wonder what these naiaraland mods are doing, and what their job is really.

What you have just said is what will happen if Tinubu does not sit up.

It is natural occurrence and a force of nature.

Even, if Tinubu govt manages to patch-patch things ( and deceive us) and escape away, without repairing the core issues, the next govt after him will be the one to suffer what you have explained above.

After the protest of 2012 in 2015 Jonathan was booted out of office.

You think Tinubu is a fool and he is begging the north not to start this protest?

I'M JUST VERY HAPPY THAT THIS PROTEST IS STARTING IN THE AREA WHERE THEY DON'T FORGIVE EASILY.
He caused this on himself.

A very selfish move to float naira and remove subsidy same time, while daring the consequence on Nigerians. All because he wanted to quickly recoup his investments into the election.

He should carry the weight of his decision.
Business › Re: Dangote Group Not Selling-off Crude Stocks, Will Deliver Petrol In Aug - The Wil by Basicend:
Truth is, if our leaders care for the the citizens, they would have engaged this Dangote refinery for PMS production since Tinubu came into power.

It would have reduced their spending, and end-price of the commodity to consumers, pending when they would be able to establish more refineries to create competition if that is their aim (as they are trying to make us to see).

Instead, they are trying to choke it, and prefers spending even more on PMS importation than Buhari era.

We have a long way to go in this country.

Yes, the man has been a monopolist in some ways, but the priority now should be the gross implication of the leadership decision.

Tinubu govt will crash this dude. .

I said it about 6 months ago on this forum and a lot of people we making jest of it and abusing.

Let me tell you, Dangote has been a high flying coz govts of the day have been pampering him with extra privileges.

Tinubu does not bow to the northern agenda of controlling resources. He will struggle as long as Tinubu is there.

Both Tinubu and Dangote have milked Nigerians heavily. They are part of the problem.

I see a lot of videos about men not bold approaching woman. Most times it is not boldness, but the financial responsibilities. Typically, women don't spend in relationship, because of that, they women think relationship is all about asking them out. What about the financial responsibilities? A man needs to be ready for it too before asking a lady out.
And when a man does not provide enough resources in the marriage, most ladies of today will disrespect, abuse, frustrate, compare him with others and make life very miserable for him.

The worst case that I have seen is that most of them will start sleeping around like dogs (bcoz d hubby could not cather for their needs).

So let the men rest please.

He who has the strength, let him pursue a woman.

Lol.
After running the streets for years most of them decided to turn to church.

Those that are truly raised in the church from their childhood to the adulthood, you’d rarely find them loitering been single cause them don snatch them already.
You said it all sir.

As a man, if I see a properly raised lady, I can easily detect after few interactions. . And I will see her as a value.

A truly properly raised lady will ultimately get a man in most cases.

But, most of those soldiers in the church are wounded soldiers. . And that are very dangerous to dine with as a wife.

Tinubu is careless thou, but Buhari put him a one-chance seat. He was trapped.

Buhari is the worst president in the history of Nigeria.

Instead of all the useless palliatives, salary increases and inflation issues that he is pursuing now.
