Coolval222: The story is very childish but it really happened to my neighbour, maybe am not passing the message well. But all my own exploits can be seen in the sexuality section maybe that one might be more understanding though no one is beyond mistakes and am not good in englishcrycrycry
Yeah you do have some errors in your write-up but i think you have a flair for writing. Keep writing and you can use a spell check to spot some obvious errors. Like when you said 'DRIVED' on the other thread - that did upset me a little bit to be honest angry

swtchicgurl: OP,

- From my rough estimate, you should be about 24 or 25yrs now.

- You written english is pathetic, as a graduate!

- You're not the only person from a poor background, so don't create a pity scene!

- You graduated November 2011 and you later mentioned buying textbooks! Are you studying for Masters already?

- You should be thinking of getting a job to reward your parents for their kind effort, instead you spend it on a girl.

- You claim to love, but you lack common sense. because you lack the resources (including money) to maintain a relationship!

- Oge loves you for what she thinks you are, if at all she loves you.

Summary: Don't be foooolish! Abandon that relationship, get a job, settle your family and siblings, plan your life, set a productive target, start a rewarding relationship that should lead to marriage - cos you're not getting younger!

I'll be back.
Abeg, pass the mic jare! For this really insightful and life-changing post, please approach the nearest podium to collect a medal of your choice!

OP, fire on and dont dull on that IMOSTAR thread!
FamilyRe: What Is Wrong With Me? by Basildon1(m): 9:48pm On Aug 02, 2012
You are right to identify your anger and tendency to be vindictive.

You have to be open-minded to the fact that everyone will not be like you and accept them with their faults. Think about the positive sides to them and realise that you will also have your negative sides. You have to balance your academic skills with your social skills to make you a more complete person.

To continue to be judgmental will only make you an island and trust me you will always need people at some point. Even if you keep waiting for the perfect friend, you cant choose your colleagues and you dont want to be that one guy everybody avoids at work.

RomanceRe: Relationship Mistakes You Made. by Basildon1(m): 2:32pm On Jul 11, 2012
ujchief: Worse mistake... Believing that girls are sane enough to know whats best for them.
She told me a guy approached her and is serious about marrying her. I was in my finals at uni, so i couldnt give her the guarantee and assurances of a live-long relationship. She claimed the guy was serious about mariage, so i believed she knew what was best for her. We agreed to part ways for good so she can get maried, how wrong was i!
The guy man wanted some action, and the only way to get it was to play the mariage card to displace me. Two yrs later, shes stil as single as i am, and the guy man has left for good. She must hav learnt her bitter lesson by now.
Sorry...had to LOL!

LOL! U don use laugh kill me for my street cleaning job today. Low esteem? Envy you?! Hating?? You are on one, no doubt!

I have given you facts that you cant argue with (You are a 25yrd old working class girl in Nigeria and you have linked 2 gold diggers). No need to get personal tho, U cant match my daily rates ever. On a lighter note, cos i dont bow to the logic of your story doesnt mean we are enemies. Take it easy with me. grin

RomanceRe: I Lied About Not Having A Job And He Ran by Basildon1(m): 3:46pm On Jul 10, 2012
dazzlingvixen: Can't u deal with d fact that a guy can be a gold digger? And y do I detect real anger at d fact that there was no sex?I dictated d pace of the whole relationship from day one. And before allowing my emotions go haywire and get to d point where I cld cry if heart broken, I had to do test.

And I seriously suspect that u r one of them gold digging guys. That by d way though. He persistently tried to find out my salary and even when I hid the real figures, he found out from my colleaGues. He kept asking too many money related questions. Leave that thing. His behaviour tended to be money loving and I had to confirm my suspicions. And everything played out d way I expected it to.
If you are a 25 yr old non-enterpreneur in Nigeria, I am sorry how much gold do you have to be dug? and dont bother with trying to label me, it cant stick no matter how deep you are sleeping. This just sounds like a sob story.

Ofcourse there are male god-diggers but i am afraid, you dont fit their criteria!

HUGS!!

dazzlingvixen: Oga where in the post did u see that we had sex? SMH at the mentality of naija men. Does going out or dating equals sex? Na wao. I tire o.
Allow it, gal! I knew you were going to go there. Naija mentality ko, naija mentality ni. Yes, you so totally didnt sleep with him. ABEGI. we are grown ups here and no one is even judging you on that.

POINT is, it is not impossible that he left cos he didnt want to be with you. Deal with that. All these tests sounds like rubbish. How hard can it be to state that "Hey, I dont pay a man's bills" and see how it plays out

Abeg this story sound somehow, broke guys never pass up free pum pum. Even if you had no money, he would have continued servicing you. Afterall, you decided to date him before you started your so-called test.

Talk about putting the cart before the horse. PLUS how much are you really earning that you seem to be attracting one male gold-digger after the other. Na wa o
