Everything is working well at this end. All my apps and programs are still working, 30minutes reduction in battery life but I expect updates to fix that, new pics, audio and video players, but simple server no longer download updates for me...but will find solution to that. My PC has the last minimum system requirements.2gb Ram, 280GbHD, 2.1ghz.

Great! Now all i have to do is wait patiently, that battery life reduction does not sound good at all.

I can't remember the build version but i installed it around 1st of June. Have you installed this latest version and how was your experience like? if yes, would you be kind enough to state your systems specs.

Nice pictures moonraker. My previous experience with 10 preview was very terrible, i lost most of my files.
No windows 10 for me till Microsoft announces the final version.

I think the best is both.
Since most Xbox games are on PC and chances are that one would need a laptop for their daily activities, why not get a decent gaming laptop that can handle most modern titles at medium settings with an Xbox 360 controller. That way you use your laptop for a little Xbox gaming and your other activities and also some Xbox exclusives are on PC.

Then get a PS4.

FIXED!

For everyone who encounters the same problem, go to control panel -> device manager -> network adapters and reinstall/update the drivers of every device with the yellow like warning sign. That's all.

It is not windows 10. I don reset the modem tire.

My modem keeps giving an error whenever i try to connect, it displays "Dial failed:720".

Does anyone know a solution to this? I've tried google and all the tricks i know, still nothing.

But what version of Ubuntu are you trying to install with Wubi?

If I recall correctly It has been removed from the install CD for a while now and u have to download it separately.

I also believe it does not play well with Windows 8 and u need an old school bios bootloader.

Which means u need to have an older computer, running Windows 7 or lower to use Wubi successfully

Version 14.04. Wubi came with the iso.
Yes, i found out about Uefi bootloader the hard way.

Hi guys. I heard that installing ubuntu via wubi leads to slight performance issues like slower disk performance and no hibernation (which i don't find really important). What if one creates a separate partition on windows and install ubuntu via wubi into that partition, any difference?
