You're missing the point. Run Windows on solid hardware and you'll forget about your HD crashing. I've been using Windows for about 9 years and not once have I had my HD crashing. I used win 8/8.1 for over 2 years and had no problems with it. Not once once. I'm currently running win 10 insider preview and I'm enjoying it. It all depends on your hardware. I have friends complaining everyday about their win 8 and I don't encounter the problems they complain about.

i cannot believe it too .. i download a 1 GB file in just about 2-3mins . . maximum . i am non the normal plan . ..
but i live on a high rise building and i stay on the topmost floor . . so the network is at its maximum capacity . . .
secondly, i can see 2 network mast just outside my window . . so i've got full 3G - 4G . on etisalat, mtn, glo, airtel swift
smile, spectranet . . all networks except visafone . .
i guess am lucky !!!

See ehn! I bought a game on Steam last Saturday and between then and now, i've spent another 10k on MTN's night plan just to download the game. And i neva even finish the download.

Both Steam and Origin especially Steam, is a no-go area o thanks to the naira-dollar ratio Waiting for Sales every now and then is the best option. As for unlimited internet, one can only hope one of these ISPs come up with a reasonable data plan to help PC gamers out

The worst part is you have to add the price of data to download the game which should be nothing less than 7k depending on the game size and network . So anytime i want to play a game that interests me i have to pay original game price plus 7k (or more) data price.

Do this 10 to 20 times and you would have spent enough cash to get you a small car or plot of land in remote areas of lagos.

The way to get them is to ask around on forums like this or go to places like Ikeja City Mall, Silverbird Galleria e.t.c. Their's would be way more expensive than MSRP though, just so you know.

They don't have to ensure nothing. Those things are put online by vendors and except you want them to have people with technical know-how in all fields then what you are expecting which is "absolute originality of products" is a practical impossibility.

So you see why i said it's quite a shame. They stated it on their T&C but don't have the capability to follow it up, which they are supposed to do: what if as an affiliate i decide to sell GUNS , would they allow it?
