I knew people will come to this thread and definitely turn it into a bragging ground of how many A's they had and how they miraculously graduated regardless of the so many F's.
EducationRe: How Did You React When You Had First "A" & "F" In The University? by basille(m):
Had my first F in BIO 101 because i didn't buy a lab manual and MAT 102 (was not surprised though). My first "A" (CSC 102) didn't come as a surprise, it was my departmental course!
Still in school though.
UNIZIK.

FamilyRe: My Brother Is Stupidly In Love With The Wrong Person by basille(m): 9:55pm On Jul 12, 2014
Mr Op, so far as the relationship is not illegal, and most importantly makes your brother HAPPY.
i see no reason why you should be discussing your brothers personal affairs on a public forum.

The most important thing you should be concerned about is his HAPPINESS.

You should learn to support him, when he is going astray you can call him to one corner and be like "bros no be so o, this thing way dey happen no make sense."

And if he doesn't heed to your advises then you remember everybody has freedom of freewill and in as much as what he is doing isn't illegal you still have to support him because that's what family is all about.

Christianity EtcRe: Hypocrisy Of Nigerian Christians (catholic) by basille(op): 7:13pm On Jul 01, 2014

while the traditionalists make images and worship those images as gods
False, you have no proof. Your conclusion is based on prejudice
catholics make paintings and stautes which remind us of the one true God and of other Holy people.
And what makes you so sure that the idols of the Traditional worshippers are not used as a representation of their one true God?
You see the hypocrisy i'am talking about.
Because the foreign missionaries brainwashed y'all into believing the fiction called Christianity you then think the ways are any more different (and probably better, holier) than Traditional worship(or any other religion).
Idol worship is idol worship, nothing can change that not even the delusional explanations of Catholics! if Catholics use those image to represent their god, then it's the same notion for traditional worshippers, Period! no more no less.

Nice pictures.
Christianity EtcRe: Hypocrisy Of Nigerian Christians (catholic) by basille(op):
The point of the post is not about if Catholics worship those ornaments or whatever (i honestly don't care if they do). It's about how most Christians condemn traditional worshippers on usage of worship items and ornaments as being evil, whereas they also make use of worship items.

Moral of the post: Anybody is free to practise whatsoever religion that pleases him or her, christianity and traditional worship are no different, so let christians stop the condenmation of TW practises and the 'holier than thou' bs.

learn to value your own indigenous religion not some white-man cooked fiction
P:S i believe in neither of the religions!
Christianity EtcHypocrisy Of Nigerian Christians (catholic) by basille(op): 1:10am On Jun 29, 2014
The hypocrisy: I visited the church today with a relative who happens to be a staunch catholic, We got to the adoration room (the adoration room houses a crucifix-like item called ‘The holy sacrament’. People came there to pray and adore) then my relative genuflected and bowed.
I (being an unbeliever of such things) started reflecting towards his actions.

My thoughts were;
The average Nigerian Catholic Christian refers to traditional worshippers as idol worshippers yet they bow down, adore, and worship man-made ornaments.
Christians worship and pray to a man nailed on a cross.
Catholics make use of rosaries and statues while praying, the picture of unknown people been used as Jesus Christ & Mary without sufficient evidence of its authenticity and statutes of their revered deities, is being adorned on altars and prayed to and yet christians claim traditional worshippers serve idols?

Christians, Most especially Catholics might argue that their worship items are a symbolic representation of their deities, shouldn’t the same mind-set be applied to the Traditional worshippers without their idols and worship items been seen as evil?

What so ever being regarded by a party as bad, is bad, irrespective of the situation and devoid of sentiments.
If the average Nigerian Christian (catholic) refers to traditional worshippers idols ( which represent their Almighty deity and performs the same symbolic functions of that of the catholics ornaments) as Evil or bad, then the catholic rosaries, arch-angel Michael statues, unauthenticated pictures and statues of Jesus and Mary, even the crucifix’s hung on the walls of churches are equally bad and evil! since they all perform the same Evil function of representing their respective deities!

Misunderstanding a culture’s symbols is a common root of prejudice – Dan brown.
(N.B: i was born and brought up a Catholic).
Before the foreign missionaries brought Christianity to Nigeria, Our Ancestors existed and worshipped their respective deities just fine…….(To be continued)

Chris brown, it's obvious that davido copied Chris brown. Look at his footware, the same with the other guy in the first pics.
