International markets?

Importers and exporters?

What makes America ecomony big is simply because they are a producing nation and not importing nation?

The question should have been, what are the things produced in Ibadan?

What makes Ibadan economic viable than Onisha?
most of u dnt kw Onitsha. Onitsha has Industries, check this pic out

Dude, you are talking about trading, its not the same thing as the economy of the city/state. What about the service sector or the agricultural sector? Dey dere dey jones.

Do you have any idea of the amount of money made from agro-processing and the agro-allied companies and farms to be found in Ibadan?

Do you think its for no reason farm goods are cheaper in Ibadan than anywhere else in the southern region?

Besides, Ibadan has very large markets too.
Yoruba ppl are making a huge mistake, if trading is not economy whats the magic behind Anambra state? and why is Oyo state almost insolvent?

You are right bro, when it comes to trading, iboes are veteran in that aspect.
that's why I included aba & Onitsha, more like they are the biggest trading centres in Nigeria.
but in terms of revenue generation and industries, they are behind.
but they will deny the fact. why do you think they are not among the top five richest men in Nigeria? cool
we all kw who is getting huge bailout funds for salary payment. Anambra is embarking on numerous capital projects while still not owing salaries in the face of dwindling allocation. you ppl only live in propaganda but when wind blow we all go see fowl nyash

...nd sells it to another who carry on the trend all because of scarcity of land. Is that what ibos are celebrating now? I won't be surprised if they base that as one of the reasons used to determine a rich state.

@OP Why put anambra ahead of lagos? I can bet it that the amount of storey buildings in just 5 housing estates in lagos surpasses the whole amount found in anambra.

Guys, remember that Oyo state is bigger than Southeast, so the storey buildings concentrated together in the small SE states doesn't mean they can be more what's obtainable in other large states.

Peace.
is it also availability of land dat made SW unable to change d roofs on their houses? The truth is, i hv nt been to these places

If Yoruba's begin to wreck Igbo's and their businesses in southwest, I think we are justified.

The hatred is mounting to an unprecedented state. Unfortunately, it is harmless flaaatheads doing their businesses quietly in southwest that will suffer for this most and the useless flaaaatheads on nairaland, who are the architects of the problem may never suffer from it.

Don't worry flaaaathead. It will happen. You will hear it on the news.
stop barking, give us ur own list and justify it. The title of d thread is clear

you people are annoying. the proximity to a particular place is so constant on its language.

so, because they speak Yoruba in lokoja and KAbbA now, the Yorubas must lay claim to them, abi?
Ikot ekpene is closer to aba than opobo, yet ikot ekpene dialect has no element of igbo in it neither can dey understand igbo without interpreter. Opobo ppl speak an "igboish" dialect, and understand central igbo without interpreter and also speak central igbo at wenever they wish. i served with an opobo lady during NYSC. Now look at this map, the the narrow strip of the sea passing tru opobo actually ended at the boundary with abia state, at a point equal in distance to the sea with port harcourt

even without opobo and bonny, igboland is not land locked, and by the way opobo is more igboid then ijoid. IMagine, " ike m na ike gi" which language was dat derived from?
Politics › Re: Question: Is Igboland Landlocked? by basilo101: 5:03pm On Sep 26, 2015
Even the so called SE is not land locked let alone the whole igboland. a narrow strip of the sea forming the boundary between akwa ibom and rivers state extend into abia state.
