Politics › Re: Igbos How Far? I Am Vindicated Less Than 24 Hours After My Last Post. by basilo101: 9:58pm On Sep 30, 2015
alcatraz002:
I posted a thread yesterday lamenting the plight of the igbos and how they continue shooting themselves in the foot by hating Yorubas but I was insulted and lampooned by igbos on this board.

Now less than 24 hours since I posted that thread, Uche Secondus a self acclaimed IGBO man has said that the PDP Presidential ticket has been zoned to the North. The PDP has presently constituted is an IGBO/BIAFRAN party and the structures of the party is currently being controlled by IGBOS. My question goes thus: is there no Credible IGBO man in the whole of Nigeria that can be presented to vie for PRESIDENT? I want my Igbo brothers to answer this question. AM I BEING VINDICATED OR NOT?

When we preach to the igbos to change their ways and build bridges, insults will rain like missiles from fighter jets in Syria. Igbos only know how to exhibit extreme hubris and chestbeat. An EDO man has better chances of being Nigerian President than an IGBO man. Sincerely I feel sorry for IGBOS. All igbos reading this knows it would be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for an Igbo man to as much as near the Vice President seat of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

I know I will be insulted and maligned by igbos who will comment on this thread but we will keep preaching for attitudinal change by the igbos.

This PDP zoning is a clear message for the igbos.Let the insults begin!!!
hahahah yorubas are scared, 1979 demolition of awolowo is about to happen to Tinubu. i have always known that PDP will bring a northerner and yorubas will kum up with yeye stories like this. see hw u contradict urself, igbos dont build bridges and at the same time igbos dont support their own, rubbish. dats how u cofuse urselves in contraditions, saying Igbos support GEJ out of tribalism at the same time saying GEJ is not Igbo, asking why igbos didnt support igbo constestants when there are more yoruba contestants than igbos, yet u supported buhari. do u build bridges more than igbos, must we support the dullard like u who are desperate to come up to national politics, are obasanjo and shagari and jonathan igbos, just because u left ur regional political prison yesterday and rode on buharis popularity in the north to produce the mere commisioner, u are claiming political maradona. Kwankwaso tried to secure alliace from the east to neutralize Tinubu but APC had no strong grounds in the east. http://dailytrust.com.ng/daily/index.php/news-menu/news/34507-kwankwaso-delegation-woos-ngige-for-vp. Saraki kws well that only a collabo with the east will destroy tinubu, and it suceeded.
Politics › Re: 2019 PDP Northern Zoning.....my Take. by basilo101: 8:57pm On Sep 30, 2015
Tomiishola:
gbam, pdp is hated in the north now and with Igbos supporting whoever the new candidate is, that is all that is need to turn northerners off him
So why did northerners move motion for vote of confidence on saraki who has an Igbo Deputy and PDP member, leaving the SW as inconsequential minority in the senate? continue your kindergateen political analysis. go and study wat happened in 1979. Kwankwaso was roaming from Awka to Owerri looking for alliace during APCs primary election, talk more of PDP dat has strong roots in the East

I am simply saying that south south wont vote PDP because the VP is Igbo.
South south will vote base on other parameters rather than ethnicity.

thus, they will vote base on thier believe of better performance not tribalism.

The only way south south will vote based on tribalism is if the VP is south south

Igbo and yoruba are seen as the same to south south. so north/igbo ticket and north/yoruba ticket mean the same thing to south south.

Except in your imagination you think south south people see yoruba as strangers and see igbo as brothers. if that is your thinking, you must be deluded to think that way.
5 out of 6 south south governors are PDP. whats ur point? 10 south south senators and 7 south east senators showed solidarity with saraki at PDP which is a move to save a member of PDP EKweremadu, an Igbo man. whats ur point? we are talking about party affiliation and u are talking about tribe, is dia a tribe in this world called south south? u should be worried of the chances of PDP wining more votes in the west, remeber PDP now have 5 HOR members in Lagos

hahahahahahahaha
its obvious d igbos have no stands as far as nigeria is concerned.

am not a yoruba, but i envy their style of politics, which is devoid of ethnoreligious sentiments, unlike our radio BIAFRUAD brodas who cant see further with the eyes of bigotry.

from nnamdi azikiwe to alex ekwueme,d story remains d same.
ofem.manu is oozing all over u. stop denying ur origin. yorubas only have the mere comissioner in Nigeria now, i dont get it, the way they boast like they are the one ruling. since they refuse to join hand for southern unity, we will teach them a lesson? where was the ethnoreligious bigotry when Ekwueme alliance destroyed awolowo's alliance? Yorubas are slaves not because of supporting buhari, igbos have defeated them in northern alliance before, they are slaves for not challenging any mistreatment as long as is from the north, their masters

I actually predicted this Will happen...the Yoruba race are in for a long walk. The APC Wil just have to also bring out a northerner too, cos I guess PMB won't contest again.

APC should wait for who PDP brings out as VP....which in guessing is a south easterner. Then the only way to match PDP is to bring out a South southerner as vp.

If they still stick to the Yoruba vice, the south south in totality will lean towards pdp.

Considering the margin when GEJ list out, I think if APC makes the slightest mistake, PDP Will take back power.

My own view is so far as there's no corruption in the system, anyone can rule. The best thing to happen to us as a country was breaking the one party system.
dnt mind the yoruba fools, d way they make noise as if they own this administration eh, as if buhari is from oshogbo. dia own don finish, North/igbo will deal with them and APC may be forced to choose SS as VP considering the fact that SW didnt bring much margin in the last election
Politics › Re: PDP Zones 2019 Presidential Ticket To North by basilo101: 7:51pm On Sep 30, 2015
Yorubas want to make it look like igbos are enemies of the north. big lie, we hate Buhari, he is a bigot and dictator, we will find another good northerner to dethrone him in 2019. awolowo and Aminu kano were defeated by shagari and Ekwueme. just because igbos wanted a southern president yoruba rushed to align with the north and claim political maradona. to hell with southern presidency north can have it forever. 2019 will be interesting.

Uwazurike and his Biafran brothers are still living in a dreamers world. Any day they exclude my south-south region from their Biafran shit, Biafran will be granted to them. On till then, let them rant on. The same mistake Ojukwu made over 40 years ago. They want to repeat it again today. Ojukwu fought and got defeated he ran away. Uwazuike ranting on pages of newspapers got tired and relaxed on till Nnamdi KANU came up with his Radio Biafra that is currently turning most Igbo young people to a terrorists. But unfortunately, Nnamdi KANU is just scamming the Igbo's in d name of Biafra. Everywhere in d world leaders who fight for freedom don't runaway as Ojukwu and Nnamdi is currently doing. Nnamdi should be in Nigeria only then I will take him serious.
