Yyeske: Whatever that means, all I know is that Umu Omambala have decided to associate with a common identity, nobody cares about the Bini, Igala, Nri, Aro or any other links, Omambala identity has taken care of that and that is why we are not interested in the balkanization of Anambra in any form because we see ourselves as one people already. Lol. Omanbala identify is cheap and lame attempt to cover up for lack of large grouping. The Omanbala identity is an administrative identity and not a lingo-cultural identity. Every other states also have the state identity so it's not like anybody is against your Omanbala identity but the fraudulent claim of homogeneity |

hammerFC: STOP REPLYING DEM, THEY ARE NOT IGBO OR FROM ANAMBRA.
ANAMBRA IS A STATE AND FUNCTIONS AS A SINGLE UNIT.
IT IS DIVISIBLE AND THAT IS WHY THEY SAY NO PART OF US MUST BE TOUCHED.
IT IS NOT MONOLITHIC.
IT IS THE LEAST MONOLITHIC STATE IN THE SOUTH EAST BECOS IT HAS IGALA.
NOW ABANDON THE THREAD AND THE DEBATE. Thank you very much for finally acknowledging this. The question is, how can you sit in your house and command that no part of anambra must be touched when you know it's not a monolithic entity? Isn't it the same complaint igbos have against nigeria? |
Politics › Re: . by basilo101: 3:30pm On Nov 10, 2018 |
Yyeske: It is fraud you say, is it your fraud and how should that bother you one bit? Pan igbo thread is not a place for low lives to spread fraudulent claims that is an insult to historical facts |
Politics › Re: . by basilo101: 3:29pm On Nov 10, 2018 |
Yyeske: You are more confused than I thought, proudly Omambala and proudly Igbo. "Omanbala" is not the issue under debate. The keywords in this debate are "monolithic" and "homogeneous" |
Politics › Re: . by basilo101: 3:24pm On Nov 10, 2018 |
Yyeske: Bone of contention here is Anambrarians be you Igbo or Igala have decided to have an Omambala identity which of course didn't go down well with people like you, you want an encompassing Igbo identity which angered so many of us. I want igbo unity. Anambra can as well have anambra unity. But unity is not uniformity. The uniformity claim by anambra is fraud |

Yyeske: We will remain here till it sinks into every thick skull that we are proud of our Omambala identity. We will continue watching this space from time to time. You are clearly confused about the subject matter here |
Politics › Re: . by basilo101: 3:15pm On Nov 10, 2018 |
Yyeske: A big shame indeed. I think the problem here from my observation is that most people especially Igbos really don't ask relevant questions from their elderly relatives, all they do is visit the village, catch some fun, see other relatives from other places and they leave for their bases. Do you know that I've met people with surnames like Onoja, Attah etc who are from Anambra, everyone should know that those two names I mentioned are pure Igala names with no meaning in the Igbo language and some people here expect us not to acknowledge them and worse of all we should deny any link with them. I am very proud of my Nri root and Igala as well, proudly Omambala, proudly Igbo. Are you confused about the bone of contention in the debate? Your Nri/igala roots is not shared by other towns how is anambra monolithic? |

They should make sure they pack am comot as well! The rugged udi hills has prevented Enugu city from merging with 9th Mile for a long time. Good to see 9th Mile now getting enugu's kind of sanitation now. |

OMANBALA1: Community spirit of Ndi Ngwo.. I love that because I am all for like people doing things together. God bless Ndi Ngwo.
Now, just like Ndi Ngwo are working together to lead a healthy life style because health is wealth Umu Omanbala are equally working together to build a homogeneous society. Bravo! Dumb. You are " working together to build a homogeneous society" is an acknowledgement that you are not homogeneous at the moment. You see how dumb people shoot themselves on the foot in debates? Let's forget our differences -- Zik No, let's understand our differences -- Bello Until you succeed in your misadventure, stop the criminal fraudulent claims |

Envy is not a good thing.
Rather than promote your own state, u want to correct out unionism in Anambra.
Y do u think we will listen to u? You started off like an intelligent fellow but as usual you sank back to usual hollow vainglorious arrogance you villagers are known for. Please bring proofs of anambra's monolithic nature. That's the topic |
Politics › Re: . by basilo101: 10:17am On Nov 10, 2018 |
hammerFC: Anambra is monolithic to a certain degree.
In the sense that Anambra is a power block and one that will not be balkanised anytime soon.
That is y u here us shout, no part of us must be touched in any state creation. The most serious state creation agitation is Adada state where I come from. I am not here to promote state creation for anambra but to put the record straight on their fraud |

I dont expect to be Gov of Imo, Abia or Ebonyi.
Dont expect me to rep them over Anambra.
However, I will respect them if they accomplish something extra-ordinary.
Aside that, Anambra first. Promote your state without making fraudulent claims otherwise knowledgeable people will always put the recorfs straight |

Everybody should be proud of where the hail.
It is a beautiful thing.
Problem only starts when people are not proud of where they come from. Your fathers that were born before the creation of anambra state, where are they from? |
Politics › Re: . by basilo101: 10:10am On Nov 10, 2018 |

If u are Omabala and proud that is good.
There is nothing wrong with that.
As an Idemili man is proud of his idemili roots.
Chinenye is proud of his Ngwa roots
However, we are all Igbo first becos that is the language we all speak. Now you are making little sense. Every body is proud of their state. But the fraudulent monolithic claim must not be allowed to fester. |

NaijirianKing: This is an interesting perspective, but it over looks an important fact, and it's the fact that what we call the 'agbada' pre-dates Islam. The agbada came before Islam, in the same way that the "cross" pre-dates Christianity, but today is synonymous with the religion. The cross was merely an execution method for criminals.
The agbada was worn by desert and Sahel dwelling Africans before Islam came, however today many of the desert an Sahel dwelling Africans adopted and practice Islam, but not all. The agbada came from Africans, Arabs came from Africans and Euroasians mixing, but Arabs still retained much of their previous African culture, not the other way around. The Cross was invented by Carthage and later copied by Rome as capital punishment. Christians laying claim to the cross is cluelessness. People have been dying on the cross before Jesus. None of them took away sins until Jesus, very funny |

The first dialect the colonial masters got in touch with was Onitsha dialect. It was in Onitsha dialect that the first Igbo Literary works were developed by the colonial masters. Yes I know.
