Caseless:
igala is a majority among the minorities. Among the minority tribes, igala has the trait of the igbo people - they travel alot; they can stay anywhere.

The way I see them outside their state, sometimes, I feel you won't find them at home. By the time you visit their region, you'd see them as if no one left the land.

I told someone that if igala were to be in benue by now, Tiv for don see as e de be. Those ones won't let tiv rule them; it will be a shifting or zoning arrangements, unlike what obtains between them and the idoma right now.

The '79 population census wasn't fair to the igalas, hence the misconception that ijaw and tiv have the imaginary number.

If you check their ancestral or tonal link to the igbo, Yoruba, itsekiri , jikun, you'd know they have the numbers.

Minorities are not treated right by the majorities in Nigeria, but some minorities suffer this more.
Check out this 1933 data. Igala is a minority among minorities. They could not enter first ten

Politics › Re: The Top 5 Most Populated Tribe In Nigeria? #DEBATE by basilo101: 3:51pm On Nov 11, 2018
Igbo remain the largest ethnic group. Igbo is larger than hausa but hausa always merge with other tribes in the north especially the fulani.

Edited: This 1933 document says that Hausa is largest even when Fulani is seperated followed by igbo. Meanwhile Igala is nowhere here

please stop this your broken language of IGBO mixed with IGALA and speak/write in Central Igbo.
This is why the white men threw away the inferior language and adopted the Central igbo spoken in orlu-okigwe-umuahia axis

Your first pic is quite similar to the chains of beautiful green hills that surround Nsukka

Wawa boy, Peter Obi attended a paid-for seminar in harvard that usually last no more than two weeks and not a degree/diploma course. At the end of the seminar, he was given a certificate of participation. The only degree that Obi has is a 3rd class in Philosophy. I will excuse your ignorance because the head injuries that fulani inflicted on you and your people in nsukka has a lasting brain damage.
Peter Obi will bury APGA next year. Insults during arguments is for low IQ people

The whole thing tire me ! People of the state has evolved and said they are one (Anambra ) they have a new identity and ideology here some people are saying they are disjointed !

The question I am asking is why are some people dad I we Anambra, why do they want to see Anambra fall

Shame on us igbo ! Shame on Africans ...the crab in a barrel mentality is shameful

Leave Anambra folks alone, if they say they are monolithic ....so be it...try and evolve to be a monolithic. Anambra is a good and economical reference point of igbo ...no Village in Anambra would want to leave Anambra

Please let other focus on their states to make their state more better than Anambra ...that is igbo spirit
This comment is full of emptiness. Your desperation to "evolve" only betray lack of historical grouping.

Don't worry Op, I am sure the Northerners will take up your challenge and provide evidence soon. But there's enough evidence that Obi deported Ebonyi and Akwa Ibom 'beggers', the same Obi that attacked Fashola and politicized the issue when Fashola acted similarly a few years later. Are Akwa Ibom and Ebonyi 'beggers' not Nigerianshuh

Peter OBI n the south east are in panic mode. I knew that guy is a tribalistic slowpoke. Elrufai we already know who he his. I don't seem to understand igbos, why do they always never want to admit to their faults, but are so quick to tell some else they r at fault. They see yorubas n hausas as fault to their problem whereas they are close MINDED with hatred and are tribalistic to other ethnic tribes. YOU DONT START FIRE IF U CANT BEAR THE HEAT

Kanu is making this election unbearable for peter obi and his boss.

He is seriously imprinting hatred for igbos in the heart of northerners with obi as target.

After insulting one of their own, atiku and obi will now go cap in hand begging for votes from the same people he has insulted.

Even the northerners will see atiku as a sell out who would still eat and dine with a biafran who openly insulted one of their own.

Right now the national anthem up north is "a vote for atiku is a vote for Biafra".

This is a good season for karma
Why are yorubas clinging on the north?

UgwuAghachi:
Abia North which comprises Ohafia, Arochukwu, Isukwauto (Abia) and Ebonyi South with Edda, Afikpo, Ohaozara (Ebonyi) all share same heritage and its well documented. Their history is intertwined with Ibibio and Efik culture and history.

The main difference is between the Abia/Ebonyi connection with Ibibio and Anambra/Anioma connection with Igala is that Ibibio and Efik generally are receptive and friendly towards Igbo, seeing them as their kin whereas Igala and Benin are hostile and hate Igbo, seeing them as a competition and a problem to be dealt with
It is this historically shared common heritage that creates a monolithic entity not artificial boundaries created by military Fiat. Everybody loves their states and are united within the state. But the monolithic state some are claiming is pure fraud. Thank for the historical insight from that axis. That is what the thread should be all about
