pazienza: What is Anioma?
Are Anioma a monolithic group? The same Anioma that has Edoid speaking Oza nogogo people, Yoruboid speaking Odiani people, Isoko speakers in Ndokwa region, And Igala speaking people in Ebu town in Oshimili/Aniocha zone? Are they One people?
The saying that Onitsha is Anioma, is as dubious as me saying that Ogwashiukwu( Nri) Ibusa( Isu Nnewi), Asaba( Nteje) are Anambra people. When I know that Anambra is not a monolithic entity, but instead, a political entity, just like Anioma. It doesn't make sense at all. OMANBALA1, This is a quote from pazienza on page 73 when I have not even joined the thread. Do research and stop spreading ignorance |

somalianprince: Anambra is a monolithic state while Enugu state is a timid awkward uneducated disjointed villages and villagers.
[s][/s] By the time colonist arrived, enugu-ezike was the largest town in eastern Nigeria. Same population with kano city as at then. Now enugu ezike is just one town out of many in nsukka axis. Anambra was a scattered hamlet then

While Unudim speak same with some of Awka Etiti
Well these areas are contagious or same with nnewi dialects... This is pure fact with in dept knowledge. Only awka-etiti share similarities with Nnewi. Those connecting Nnewi with Nri or ihiala are fraudsters |

Xander85: I knew the sort of scum my post will draw out of the sewer.....no surprises! They know i'm referring to them hence the response!
Dude, read the title of this thread again and tell me what it says! Just to assist you in case you're as thick as your posts actually suggest: it says 'Pan-Igbo political and economic forum'! Breaking it down, it means it's a forum where like-minded Igbos with a Pan-Igbo disposition meet and rub minds together! It doesn't say 'Pan-Omambala, Pan-Ngwa or Pan-Ndoni forum'....kapish?
I'm not against anyone protecting their turf or promoting a Sub-Igbo supremacist agenda, but is it asking for too much if i ask you try to find the appropriate thread for it? Last i checked, the Anambra thread is still there, so why not take your Omambala/Anambra supremacist agenda over there and knock yourselves out?
You seem to make jest of my reply to your brother who asked if i'm Igbo. I replied that i'm from Ndoni, and for some funny reason you scoff in derision. Care to fill me in on what you find so offensive about Ndoni? Simple and short. Let them promote whatever they like in their own thread |

Denton027: No true Ada Igbo born in the East would taint her blood line with foreign genes, FACT. I blame our people who don't do enough to promote the glamor of Igbo culture, we are even appropriating the idea that it's cool to wear the yoruba Agbada and look like a "yoruba demon" and all that trash. Even our Igbo celebrities world wide are tapping into the train of appropriating other cultures just to follow the trend. Thankfully this rubbish isn't sitting well with lots of the young Igbo generation in the diaspora cause I see Igbo kids born here in the states proudly rocking the isi Agu to social events, and it definitely looks mad cool on them. We need to embrace our Igboness first, cause charity will always begin at home. What do you mean by tainting bloodline with foreign gene? |

nnamdijonathan: Everybody wants an Igbo woman, you can't stop the trend. Leave Igbo women to marry who they want whether he is Igbo or not. As an Igbo man, it is expected of you to marry an Igbo woman in other to give birth to full blooded Igbo sons who will also continue the trend. You are the tribe not the woman, that is why every Igbo man prays to God to have a male child or male children even without a female child. Solomon's mother was a Hitite yet he inherited the throne and recorded the highest territorial and material success in isreal. |

pazienza: Nnewi pays homage to Nri? You know this is not true. Maduewesi is an IPOB member, and all Ipobs pay homage to Nri, because it's through Nri they derive their Igbo Jewish believes from. Nnamdi Kanu pays homage to Nri, as do all his followers and supporters, because, Nri/Eri today are the only traditional stools in Igboland, officially upholding the Jewish origin of Ndiigbo, and this resonates well within the IPOB hierarchy.
However, Nnewi as a people, don't pay homage to Nri. They are not of Nri stock. My boss. Please educate them for me. Nri stocks are mainly outside anambra state |

OMANBALA1: I want to know what is your real intention with this your Nnewi noises?? I have been watching you to see where your headed but it seems you have nothing tangible to add here. You are nothing but a miserable attention seeker. No town in Anambra is bigger than Anambra, its a privilege to be from Anambra.
Obi of Onicha is not where he is today because of Ndi Onicha, it Peter Obi and Obiano that elevated him to that status and he is a humble and graceful man. Watch what you say next, assumed you are from Nnewi because an Nnewi man is eternally and intrinsically Anambraic....Again, its a privilege. I will try to ignore you because people like Emeka Maduewesi who is one of the most vocal Nnewi man online is super proud of Anambra and pays homage to Eze Nri. Obi onitsha whose domain did not cross upper iweka |
