i don't do low budget films. they are for low lifers. If you are referring to those 5 for 50naira cd films, i don't waste my time on them. Talk of cinema films, high grade and cerebral films, i do that without batting an eyelid.
Movie making is business. u don't act to show how celebral u are, u act to sell. That is how people like Mode 9 failed woefully in music while ppl like Terry G are making it

Loool.

I don't check ya threads cos I know folks naturally don't migrate from a functioning/thriving society to a non-thriving one. The migration pattern in Nigeria alone is enough to tell me what Igboland is like - hell on earth and somewhere everyone is trying to get away from.

So why do you stalk our thread, if I may ask?

Always a victim. Take ya pity party. grin grin grin

That underlines what we have been saying that Nollywood is the film indusrty of all Nigerians -- be it Nupe, Ebira, Igala, Bariba, Efik, Ijaw, Jukun etc

Y1bos cannot lay claim to our collective property.
Nonesense, so if i employ u in my company u will claim to be co owner? u all are nothing but employees. Producers and marketers are igbos

People like Omotola and Mercy Johnson, Segun Arinze, Desmond Elliot etc who really made Nollywood are non-igbos smiley
igbo films use english language and gets wider actors and viewers. Olu Jacobs favorite role is Igwe with full Igbo traditional regalia even dropping igbo proverbs. Even desmond elliot said he dropped his yoruba name get favor from igbo producers.
How did these few yorubas which act for igbo producers and marketers become the pppl who really made Nollywood. What happened to Pete Edochie, Patience Ozokwor, Kenneth Okonkwo, Kanayo O kanayo, Nkeru sylvanus, Oge okoye, Jenevieve Nnaji, Bob Manuel, Jim Iyke, the list is just endless bro

We all see your SE university products- Graduates in Labour market and different sectors of Nigeria economy(Private and public) and one thing that stand them South East Universities out among their peers is their level of illiteracy.

You need to see what i am talking about to feel sorry for that region. It's a shame and total sham to call or see those illiterates as university graduates.

I sat down one day and asked myself this question after having a chat with one of these SE Universities' graduate who was obviously an Igbo boy; are Igbos trying to catch with Yorubas by pushing their Students through Schools with examination malpractices in collaboration with SE secondary school authorities.
I won't argue with you over that above stat but one thing is certain and obvious to the blind in Nigeria, Yorubas are far ahead of Igbos as far as education is concerned. And private and public companies payroll sheets could testify to this fact bro.

Igbos could manipulate, adulterate and push their dumb students all through Secondary school so as to catch up with Yorubas but one thing is really certain, Igbos haven't been able to manipulate and adulterate examination process in another country which inform the reason why Yoruba names ll be 10 students in a class of 30 students while Igbo student are no where to be found. A visit to UK/US universities would shut u up for life that Yorubas have gone too far for you to catch up with.

If you really want to know the real players in all sectors of Nigeria economy, travel outside Nigeria to see how your kinsmen who called themselves businessmen have been deceiving you. They are nothing but normal monthly wagers while Yorubas control all Nigeria businesses in these following countries: US, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia.
LOl, yorubas hate empirical data like the one i showed u. they believe in repeating any nonesense that suit then for a long time and believing it as a gospel truth. Plz check this thread, its a research done by US where yourbas dont have the oppotuinity to collaborate with a.bokis to adultrate the result to their favour https://www.nairaland.com/2613463/igbos-most-brilliant-black-african
u will see the details on that thread but these are some tables showing the result of the research.

Na language we go chop? igbos have succedded more than others in movie industry because of english they use to get wider viewers.

There are many other Onichas in the Igbo hinterlands while there is none in Benin. Eze and chime are popular names in the igbo hinterlands but does not exist in Benin. Conclusiion: The founders of Onitsha are Igbos who lived in Benin but returned wen the thriving empire started falling. Same as Nsukka ppl who went to the thriving Igala empire at Idah but left when it collpsed and migrated eastwards until they re established contact with their fellow igbos.

The nonsensical 1million that cannot even return a sitting president back to Aso Rock, despite the fact that they were the useless pillar of his government.
