Most Local Palm Kernel Oil Producers Are Losing Money Daily – Here’s Why 90% of local palm kernel oil producers are destroying value without even realizing it. Most people still use the hot pan method: roasting kernels until oil comes out. End result: Dark crude palm kernel oil Burnt residue (often mistaken for palm kernel cake) Fact: That residue is NOT real palm kernel cake — it’s charred waste with almost no feed value. What it means: Poor oil quality → low industrial demand Byproduct → little or no commercial use Compare that to proper industrial processing: Controlled heating + mechanical extraction Cleaner, refinable oil Real palm kernel cake → valuable animal feed Same raw material, completely different results. One method destroys value. The other multiplies it. If you’re serious about palm kernel oil, livestock feed, or agro trading, this is the gap to pay attention to. I handle sourcing and supply for industrial buyers, ensuring consistent quality and real market value. DM me if you want to explore opportunities.

If You’re Moving High-Value Commodities Without GPS Tracking, You’re Taking Unnecessary Risk. Many cargo losses don’t happen at the warehouse they happen on the road. One smart solution exporters and traders should adopt is GPS tracking, especially for bulk agro commodities. You don’t need to track every bag. If you place trackers in 5 out of 100 bags, you can still know: Where the truck is If it diverted from its route Where the goods ended up if there’s an issue In case of theft or diversion, you can share exact location data with security agencies for faster action. More importantly, GPS tracking: Discourages theft Keeps drivers accountable Protects your investment Builds trust with buyers Truth is: If your goods are moving and you can’t see them, you don’t fully control your business. |
GREED IS WHY MANY CONTRACTS FAIL IN NIGERIA Let me share a real-life experience from the field. A contract was awarded to someone. That person outsourced it. The next person outsourced it again. By the time the job reached the last person, there was no money left to do the work properly. I was invited to inspect and and confront weight before sealing bags of an agro product PALM KERNEL SHELL) meant for export. When I got to the site, what I saw was shocking. Product not washed Not dried Not screened Packed straight into bags with dirt and mould Yet a truck was already on the way to move it to the port. I knew immediately: this cargo would be rejected. I called the client and told him the truth, even if the truck arrived, it should NOT load this product. Export standards don’t forgive shortcuts. What followed was emergency damage control: • Reprocessing under pressure • Extra hands brought in • Last-minute corrections just to make the product acceptable All because someone wanted to maximize profit instead of executing properly. This is the same mindset that gives us: Bad roads after “completed” contracts Failed projects Rejected export goods Broken trust My question to Nairalanders: Why do people take contracts they cannot execute? Is it greed or ignorance? Would you rather make less profit or destroy your name? Because in business, your reputation is more expensive than any contract. Let’s discuss.

emmaachile2:How much for garlic seedlings |
saysoo:There is nothing in any way wrong with the question he asked. If you do not have an answer to his question just politely say you have no idea. Other than making someone look stupid for asking a sane question. |
Lanjonath:Interesting! What's a better way to handle bacterial wilt in tomatoes |
Skyborn:What I do after planting the seeds in seedling trays or nursery bird, is that, I cover the tray or the nursery bed with nylon to increase temperature. One can leave it covered until one notices the emergence of the seedlings, then,l the nylone can be removed. This way the seed brakes dormancy faster. |
Hello OP. Please I would like to try out the super habanero f2. Seeds though I haven't planted the F1 before.
