Better he sends out to the schools immediately he registered, by so doing he would have cut cost cause toefl comes wit 4 free test reports which must be used 1 day to the exam.....

femmoy: from experience,my advise to u is to wait till admission opens before u send ur toefl to the school.

send ur credentials to ur first choice school
send ur toefl through ETS

You need to send now.
But i noticed while you havent already instructed ets to send it on your behalf as thats the only format accepted by the finnish education board, i could be wrong though. You also have to note that it takes another 8-12weeks for your toefl test report to get to the education board so sending should be done now to avoid lateness in getting there.

Some people said its ielts but I haven't done it before.

TOEFL which I've done before is equally easy, flexible and fun to deal with. The logic is simple, if you can operate and explore nairaland very well, u can cope well with toefl.....

You can make more research online regarding them, but my believe is both exam bodies have a standard which they wud neva compromise irrespective of what you think....

I actually thought I could write it while I am apply for the schools. I am going to apply for masters not undergrad.

I want to apply to various schools in like 3 countries, does that 4 slot thing still apply?

My mind is made up already, early september by the special grace of the Almighty.

For an undergrad, the max u can apply to is 4 skools and toefl can send 4 free score reports to 4 diff schools. If after a skool has got ur test report u don't feel like choosing them anymore, u can instruct such school to send ur score report to a newly identified school.

Yes you can go ahead and write ur toefl now as it takes another 2-3months for the score reports to get to the skool.....

When and where are you looking to write your toefl?

I believe have seen you on USA and Australia student visa before, you need to decide, plus u still gonna need a language test for any of those country so its highly imperative you write it first.

Template of a motivational letter shouldn't be the first thing....

Write ur language test first and have it send directly to the school in case of TOEFL.IELTS is also acceptable.

After writing ur lang text, the next stage will commence proper when the admission portal opens come december or so.

Graham123: Please, I'll like to know if I can get a post graduate program admission in any college in the US with a third class honors degree equivalent of below 2.5CGPA (precisely 2.32 in my case, pathetic I know). My degree program was in Zoology (OAU). I'd like to know my chances, if any. I want honest answers however discouraging they may be, so far it is the truth. Not replies to stroke my ego or console my situation as that won't help. What are my available altervatives to study a graduate course in the US. UK is out of the question due to their relatively expensive tuition and living costs. Looking forward to replies from you guys.
