CareerRe: Highest Paid Professionals And Most Lucrative Profession In Nigeria by bawomolo(m): 7:47pm On Jun 10, 2010
Thats not true, UK has got a list of the highest earners and among the top 15, we have entrepreneurial plumbers earning over £100,000 (circa N25,000,000) a year far above most of our educated professional engineers who are permanent staff in the oil and gas industries earning an average of £35,000 (N8,750,000) a year.
I believe there are some hidden money makers like these in Naija which we haven't given a thought, , innit
i believe you need to at least attend trade school to be a certified plumber. trade school is still considered higher education.

what's the percentage of plumbers earning over 100,000 pounds. i won't be surprised if they are a minority.

Sagamite:
Majority of the new school condemn gays and will continue to condemn just like the old school.
their criticism of homos is not as harsh as that of the old school.
old school politicians use the gay issue for moral votes.

So similar to what obtains in the western world, where you do not have to be a graduate to make a heck of a money (Bill Gates and co come to mind).
guys like bill gates came from affluent backgrounds and had access to resources unlike most average joes.
Your odds of making it big without a degree aren't that high.

games like the lottery are attractive to people.
who doesn't want quick money

Jakumo:
On a visit to Las Vegas some moons ago, I was struck by the disproportionate number of far eastern women, invariably of Chinese descent, who sat around those Blackjack tables and calmly placed bets purchased with TALL stacks of hundred dollar bills.   Though a non-gambler myself, I recall being memerized by the zen-like composure with which those big-time players made and lost fortunes at the turn of a card.

I didn't notice as many Africans or African Americans as I expected to see in Sin City, which probably contrasts with life across the pond in the UK where there is a horse racing bookie shop to draw in gamblers on every other city block.

lol@orikinla's post.

lots of men have the same lusts as nigerian men. the problem is nigerian culture lets men get away with most things while women are supposed to be pristine(hence virginity tests and co)

Omo i no get beef for Artest but he can be very frustrating. I think you guys laid too much emphasis on size forgetting that is not as important for a perimeter player compared to bigs anyways its too late for any of that the Lakers still have the edge and with another win at Boston its unlikely L.A would lose both games at the Staples.

It just wasn't Allen's night the missed layup even after a charge had been called on K.G said it all[/quote]exhaustion could be a factor. maybe he got too hype in LA.
odom might need to eat some more candy

However, the petitioner, Engr. Ijaodola, dismissed all the allegations made by the respondent. He also rejected the N1 billion demanded as compensation by the respondent,

Dayokanu, which one you dey sef? All of a sudden, you're a Lakers fan. Typical band-wagoners.  Don't expect much from TX people.
