Gani he want to visit never runs away from LAW of the land.
Nobody should even listen to your ranting. Were the security blind when he was passing the major entries to the nation?
I guess you are Farida's spoke-person or are u related to one of the thieves? Tell us.

WASHINGTON (AFP) -
The United States ranks 28th in the world in average Internet connection speed and is not making significant progress in building a faster network, according to a report released on Tuesday.
The report by the Communications Workers of America (CWA) said the average download speed in South Korea is 20.4 megabits per second (mbps) -- four times faster than the US average of 5.1 mbps.
Japan trails South Korea with an average of 15.8 mbps followed by Sweden at 12.8 mbps and the Netherlands at 11.0 mbps, the report said.
It said tests conducted by speedmatters.org found the average US download speed had improved by only nine-tenths of a megabit per second between 2008 and 2009 -- from 4.2 mbps to 5.1 mbps.
"The US has not made significant improvement in the speeds at which residents connect to the Internet," the report said. "Our nation continues to fall far behind other countries."
"People in Japan can upload a high-definition video in 12 minutes, compared to a grueling 2.5 hours at the US average upload speed," the report said.
It said 18 percent of those who took a US speed test recorded download speeds that were slower than 768 kilobits per second, which does not even qualify as basic broadband, according to the Federal Communications Commission.
Sixty-four percent connected at up to 10 mbps, 19 percent connected at speeds greater than 10 mbps and two percent exceeded 25 mbps.
The United States was ranked 20th in broadband penetration in a survey of 58 countries released earlier this year by Boston-based Strategy Analytics.
South Korea, Singapore, the Netherlands, Denmark and Taiwan were the top five countries listed in terms of access to high-speed Internet.
US President Barack Obama has pledged to put broadband in every home and the FCC has embarked on an ambitious project to bring high-speed Internet access to every corner of the United States.
According to the CWA report, the fastest download speeds in the United States are in the northeastern parts of the country while the slowest are in states such as Alaska, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming.

IS IT A CRIME TO HAVE A LAPTOP IN NIGERIA? OR WHAT?
When we have illiterates in police force, what do you expect? I've heard such cases more than once.

BUT, i believe Almighty God we send an angel that'll change the whole country and move it to next level.
Angel will not come and do anything if we are not changing our ways. God has given the total control of the earth to man.

I have been wondering what could be the character of the Man (or Woman) that will take Nigeria out of this wood. Please Nairalander, what quality do we suggest that the President should possess? Someone said we need a Benevolent, Visionary Dictator.
Looking at the character combination above, it is hard to come by. Please do you agree with this suggestion or you have your own combination? Let's have your suggestion/opinion.
PoliticsRe: Federal Govt Please Stop Sony Entertainment. by bayo1(m): 2:59pm On Sep 05, 2009
PROVE IT or stop spreading lies!!! Last I checked at least 8 out of 10 Nigerians will readily pay bribe to get by. 7 out of 10 will ask for EGUNJE !
My brother, the system has made it like that! You can't do anything most of the times except you toll that part. Some weeks back i was at the FIRS - Federal Inland Revenue office at Ikeja to get a tax clearance certificate for a new company i and a friend are putting together. It was terrible! No normal procedure anymore. The staffs themselves were telling us that if we wanted to go the normal way it would not be done. They would just drop your file in a pack of thousands and will never be found! What do you do when the society and system is such? Hmmm, i sighed.  sad
And who do you cried to for help? Terribe! Terrible!! Terrible!!
I would like everyone defending the country to think again. No amount of defense can change anything. What you don't want you don't watch! Responsibility is the price. And time does not change anything for better. Nothing works until it's worked.
Talk is cheap.
PoliticsRe: Federal Govt Please Stop Sony Entertainment. by bayo1(m): 2:46pm On Sep 05, 2009
Charity begins at home. Nothing will change in this country until we stop shifting blame. Do we deserve any respect from outsiders when we don't respect ourselves? Go ahead and sue Sony and you will be surprised that Sony will get a Nigeria lawyer to fight the case. What have we not done to ourselves?
Respect is earned. Where are the lawmakers? Stop the delusion that you have one, because they are there for their pockets!
It's always noble to own up when you know you have failed, then you will be able to seat up and take responsibility rather than shifting blames and doing nothing.
Christianity EtcRe: Is Christianity All About Prosperity? by bayo1(m): 11:28am On Sep 03, 2009
Poor as mosque Rat indeed, Why do u like stepping the snake at its tail?

By your speech u say prosperity in the bible does not only refer to financial prosperity, Hav u forgetten that if you are a poor xtain your chair is at the back in the church and u dnt hav any say /contribution and the rich ones so ordained and called elders of the church occupies the front seats.

it has been said that money is the wheel barrow of evangelism
Okay then, as poor as poor rat!

"The rich rules over the poor and the borrower is servant to the lender", so says the word of God. Prosperity is a choice, if you want to be poor you can go for that too. And the bible does not teach us that the poor should seat at the back of the church while the reach has special seat, at least in my own church that does not happen. And no special recognition too. May be u should pay a visit once. Nobody knows who gives what when it comes to offering or tithe, and no record of such.

Yes, i said prosperity in the bible does not refer only to finances. Financial prosperity is just part of the whole picture. "I wish above all things that you prosper even as your soul prospered" It covers your soul, spirit and body. What is the essence of financial prosperity with sickness?

Banom or what do you call your name? Aren't you afraid of the anointed of God? Let me tell you, the consequence of what you are doing.
Psalms 89:20-23
Beware of the judgment of God upon your head! There is no where you will find a perfect man, but the gift and calling of God is without repentance. He has anointed his servant and you are not in a position to judge anyone.
Check the bible, you will still find one or two shortcomings in the life of the prophet/servant of God. But God does not allow anyone to meddle with them as seen in the text above.
If you don't stop your foolishness, the judgment of God is dangling upon your head.
Christianity EtcRe: Prosperity Preaching In The Bible by bayo1(m): 10:22pm On Sep 02, 2009
To be prosperous in the kingdom is not a cheap talk. It is hard work. So prosperity in the kingdom is not a talk and get rich thing. It has price tag. And mind you as i mentioned in another thread, prosperity in the bible does not mean only financial but all round prosperity. Now coming back to financial prosperity, as long as you are a child of God, prosperity does not answer to any thing other than spirituality.
No matter how much he gives, he who covereth his sin shall not prosper. You can be a sinner and have money or even be rich, but then it comes with sorrows. Check all the patriarch, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob. They all work in prosperity, none of them was recorded sick! They commanded supernatural abundant as a result of covenant walk and obedient to the word of God.
It takes details to be distinguished. Most of the preachers today don't give or even don't have the details of what it takes to prosper in the kingdom; hence you see members of their congregation observing only the giving part without taking into consideration other details.
For instance, offering is a mean of worship. Abraham while going to offer Isaac as sacrifice said he was going to worship God. But the mentality we have today of giving is and investment mentality. I give to God with the mind of getting immediate return, no wonder there is no return!
Where do we put giving to the poor around us? What of giving to our parents? - and not once in a blue moon. I mean placing your parents on regular income base. You are so committed to giving in the church but you are neglecting your parents. You close your bowel of compassion against the needy around you and you are expecting supernatural prosperity. It does not work that way. Whoever close his hear to the cry of the poor, will cry himself and God will not listen - that's what the bible says.

It's just unfortunate that most preacher today only hammer on the giving of tithe and offering without other details.
Financial prosperity in the kingdom is real. God is not a poor God. He wants all His children to be rich, but on His own terms not on our terms. When He gives you prosperity, He backs you up against the enemy. That's the difference between kingdom prosperity and that of the world - No sorrow attached
Christianity EtcRe: Is Christianity All About Prosperity? by bayo1(m): 8:53am On Sep 02, 2009
Prosperity in the bible does not only refer to financial prosperity. It is prosperity all around - Spirit, Soul and Body. 3 John 2. And neither did Jesus come to spread the message of penury. Who among you want to be wished "long life and poverty"
Poverty stinks, the bible says the poverty of the poor is their destruction. Show me where in the bible where Jesus advocates poverty. He came poor so we can be rich. How can the one who own the earth and the fullness thereof gives birth to paupa? Wake Up! You can be as poor as mosque rat and still go to hell, whereas you can be as rich as Abraham and still find a place in heaven. Stop this hypocrisy.

HealthRe: My Girlfriend Is A Sleep-Walker (Somnambulist) by bayo1(m): 1:48pm On Aug 27, 2009
From the report, the medical explanation to the condition is this: There is a part of the brain that coordinate our dream, while dreaming, this particular part of the brain helps in demobilizing every other part of the body so we don't act our dream. But in the case of pple suffering from somnambulist, this part of the brain is not functioning, so they act their dream.
But my question is: why could they not remember what they did while in the other hand, we remember our dreams most of the time?

I watched a related issue on zone reality just last week, and 99% of the affected persons did some terrible things while in the act - some strangled their victim to death, some had sex, while some did house chores just like yours. But i will say you need to be careful anyway., cos as reported these pple happened to be guys with normal temperament in the day. Who knows what she would do next?

I'm very sure all the participators on this forum are youths, and mostly nigerian too. Can we really live together as a nation? A mariage that has not produced any good for years should be terminated for the good of all. Why won't the looters continue, when the youths can't even see far? Your future as nigerians are been mortgaged and here you are all fighting. Shameless people - and i don't want to know what tribe you belong.

If no cheating how many of you will be alive? I know that not many. Cheating is ok. If I marry I will do, you will do. No need for lying. Please!
Somebody needs a mind surgery here!
I wonder what the world is turning to. Is it so hard for you to accept the fact that not everybody has your kind of mindset?
We still have sane people out there for Christ sake. To let you know, i've been married for good seven years now, nothing of such and there will never be. Purge your thinking.
FamilyRe: Caught My Husband From Cheating :/ by bayo1(m): 6:43pm On Nov 25, 2008
Life's a bitch. Marriage is a snitch.
Why r there no perfect or near perfect marriages anymore?
These days its either the woman's cheating, the man is cheating or both are!
Jeez, this trend is bout to reshape my ideologies in marriage.
hell, i don't even understand y they got to coexist as man n wife,
well mine wasnt so bad only my dear mom had to expire 13yrs back, because of tumor complications,
used to say i'll get maried before i'm 27, but these days i don't know if i ever want to take the vow. . .
n i got a little sis who, because she thinks she's in love wants to go get married next year. . .
prolly soon we would be called to settle the bickerings, accusations n counter accusations, f@*K. . .
well its an institution God founded so i guess we'll all just have to fulfil it,
but not rushing into it to fulfil all righteousness.
Wallt, don't lose hope concerning marriage institution. The solution is to turn to the person who instituted it if you really want to know the meaning and enjoy it. Most at times we've tried to use our own understanding and experience of others to condemn that institution and that would not be fare.
If you want to know the original intention of marriage, then turn to the initiator.
Operating any sophisticated equipment without the manual will lead to its destruction. When God is out of any marriage it is nothing but a mirage.

It takes me at least 4 shots of local gin to reach that "spiritual world" Omoge25, so how about saving me the trouble and giving me a full synopsis of latest developments in that hallucinatory realm. And while you are at it, can I have some money to cover prayers that will assure your continued bliss ?
The officer assisting the king said to the man of God, “That couldn’t happen even if the Lord opened the windows of heaven!”But Elisha replied, “You will see it happen with your own eyes, but you won’t be able to eat any of it!” 2 Kings 7:2

I rest my case.

Guys, don't let us turn nairaland to a ground for tribal assault. I believe everyone in this forum is educated and young Nigerians. Despite the fact that we should not forget our origins, we should not be swept into same mistake the older generations of this country had made in building tribal barrier everywhere. Let this forum be a place of robust and informed debate where less of tribal exaltation is seen. The focus should be on Nigeria and Nigeria alone. Less of deviation pls.
