Jet Set:Do you even know the meaning of "Awori"? If you do u won't be making a statement like the one u made above. Well to lecture you a little, I will try and explain what Awori meant just to let you know that it's purely a Yoruba name - Awori means "Ibi ti Awo ri si" i.e. The place where "Awo" sank. Awo or Babalawo is a Yoruba word for Ifa oracle priest, and Awo-ri means where a particular one in history sank or disappeared. |
Temi 23: Thank God the bride didn't show up for the wedding. I can imagine marrying from Ekiti. Those people can never leave their bushy ways of live no matter how educated they might be. Dangerous, unforgiving, abusive and occultic. *angry*And who told you the bride is not from the same Ekiti? |
@ solomonwis, thanks for your response. My question is this - There are portions of the forms that expect applicants to state their current occupation title. In my own case, my current job title is IP Architect as earlier mentioned. But this title is not among the list, do I have to change it to conform with one of the job titles in the list, e.g. engineer, network system? Or should I fill my current job title? |
solomonwis: You don't need to fill that form. Thanks, what about the second question? |
@ solomonwis Please on form IMMM5604E (Declaration from non-accompanying parent/guardian for minors). Do I need to fill this form for my kids? I already noted that my kids would be accompanying with my spouse in other forms, so I don't have any non-accompanying parent/guardian. Do I also need to conform my job titles with the titles on the NOC list? For instance, my current job title is IP Architect, and looking at the NOC list, i can't find that particular title there but have other titles that match my IT/Telecoms experiences. Thanks. |

Sharrappp your mouth! there is no Lagos Carnival pix mong them.I have seen that same picture on facebook for more than 5 months ago! So don't be confused, it was not taken at Calabar carnival. |
Same reason why every other thing is pirated! |
Lizzy, one of your nickname then if i could still remember is: "O jabo ko fo, omo na bounce" Well, the interpretation of that name is: "It fell but did not break, it only bounced off the ground" Honestly, as i reflected on that name you gave yourself then i can say it's so meaningful and prophetic! You fell but refused to break. You really bounced off the floor! I thank God for sparing your life and giving you a new start. You will stand on your feet again, you will surely walk again. |
Hmmm, it would still be doubtful even if 55% of internet traffic to "google website" from Nigeria originates from that university not to mention 55% of the whole internet traffic from Nigeria! |
Agbado-Ekiti?Ileke-Idi, Agbado is not Maize (Not as in maize). In Yoruba intonation mark, Agbado(Maize) = do-do-re, whereas Agbado(the name of the town) = do-mi-mi |

I am begining to think that a core notherner believes that he is born to rule let every person in this house read apart This election is not all about incorruptgible and corruptgible it is about the mentality that the north must rule at all cost the other day when people were glamouring for consesus candidate from the north nobody talks of PDP corruption now a minority (the hen that lay the golden egg emerges as PDP flag bearer) some people hijack nairaland to spearhead to campaign against Jonathan using deceptive approach. as long as there is no equity in this country Nigeria will seize to exist from 2011 when Buhari emerges as the Pres. Enough of all these rubbish we know what is behind this smear campaign let stay and watch. How old is this boy? |
What exactly do we want in this country? As young pple who are looking for a better nation, i don't think anyone should even think of PDP. My take is this: Jonathan may have good intention quite alright, but there is nothing he can do within PDP! PDP has ruined and not ruled this country for the past 12 years and some visionless pple are still saying PDP. |
Guys,The report says the LTE deployment by glo is only for back-hauling for now and last mile deployment to come in the nearest future. The current service is only useful for corporate organization implementing site-to-site VPN and not for last mile. |
Guys, |
Ehnnnn, he never show his affinity to anything that has to do with Yorubas. He has always been working against any political figure from Yorubaland. No wonder! So he's Igbo. The breeze has blown and we've seen the ass of the fowl! Hehehehehehehe. |
Let's assume IBB is the one in power right now and somebody is making such a statement like this, he would have been arrested and jailed! Well, it's freedom of speech and we can allow them to continue to heat up Nigeria with their statements. |
Many of you are underrating the desperation of IBB to come back as president of this nation. He has made so much billionaire during his reign as head of state that you will be surprised how many of these big guys are behind him. We would all be fool to allow that to happen, or else we are all signing off for second time slavery under an oppressive govt of ibb. He's not the only one, all his cohorts are also desperate to see him back so they can come back to power with him! Be wise Nigerians! |
He can never respect a simple arrangementNot surprised. Even made men still have audience. |
Everyone knows the Igbo bear the brunt of any sectarian or ethnic conflict. But gone are the days when my kin would run to their homeland. They will defend their land of die trying if anyones comes for it.Why don't u stop all these trashes you are oozing out of your mouth! Poisoned mind! |
Pastor Tunde Bakare should be appointed as the INEC chairman. |
I prefer corporate stealing by Mtn to telling my foreign biz associates that my network is no longer: ECONET>VODACOM>VMOBILE>CELTEL>ZAIN>AIRTEL>CHINA-TEL, every 9-12 months, LolI'm sure your number never changed with the change in Network name. Do you need to tell ur so called foreign biz associates the name of the network you are using? |
So unfortunate for Nigeria! I'm presently in Uganda, this small east Africa country. Generators don't work here. I've never heard the noise of my hotel gen, not to talk of my office - a Telecommunication Data Center for that matter. I asked a barbing saloon if he uses generator, and he said maybe once in a week. Maybe! The guys here were surprised when i told them that all base station sites in Nigeria must have 2 generator, cos i can't see any generator in any base station sites here. We know our problem in Nigeria. Corruption! May God help us. |
Just got the price information for a dedicated broadband from starcomms. The cost of dedicated b/w is too high in Nigeria. You can imagine from above - Starcomms. You can't get anything lesser in Nigeria for that bandwidth, anyone with bandwidth cost should please supply. |
Guys, don't mind the people criticizing Pst. Bakare, they are either in govt or have relatives in govt. One way or another, they are benefiting from the misrule we are witnessing in this country. Why won't they speak against someone like Bakare? |
He better not bring his case to Nairaland, cos we'll bash him. Are we saying the journalist is lying? We know what Omisore did in Ekiti rerun, Ijero local govt in particular. His wife is from there, and we all know the rigging he supervised in that place. |
@johnnyIt's easier for you to seat behind your laptop and be typing rubbish. Can you imagine if the woman in that picture is your wife and the baby is your child? Then u would not be pouring out trash! |
