If you compare Canada thread with this thread you ll shake your head. Smart people, always ready to reply without insult but I can’t say the same here. Always ready to troll someone. Fair heart, Walspring, Lagos is my home, shawarma are people I respect so much here, they have helped people countless times so what’s with all this back and forth . That’s why people are creating WhatsApp groups because this thread is not serving it’s purpose anymore. Such a shame
I'm telling you. Very disturbing trends. On this thread, you will see unnecessary arguments, counter-arguments, cyber bullying and all of that. All these has no place on the Canadian student visa thread.
Twoods, Fairhearts and et al should put an end to this. Enough! No time for this.

Nawa o. Never knew people expect much from POS vendors too.

Especially those retired civil servants, they are always in need of money.
The business is lucrative, if the location is strategic.

You dont have a sponsor. As an undergraduate, I will advise you to sit for TOEFL and SAT. Apply to schools in the US, Germany and Europe, with a good standardized test scores you stand a chance to secured fully funded scholarship in those above mentioned countries.

Goodluck!

OP so sorry for your loss.
But I have to tell you that just because they couldn’t diagnose her doesn’t mean someone killed her. That thought could hinder your healing process by filling you with anger and helplessness.
Sometimes illnesses defy diagnosis. It’s a huge loss that will take time to heal. Sorry love
Thanks for your submission. Exactly what am going through right now.
The thing is so complicated seriously. I really don't believe in spirituality. On her sick bed. according to her (mom), she do tell us some terrifying dreams she had and made mentioned of some of our family members involved in this atrocities.

Honestly, her death has changed lots of things about me. Human being are wicked!!

Sorry for your loss, OP. Life is never constant. Good and bad happen to everybody. You’ll hit other high and low points during this journey called existence. My way of coping with disappointments is to always expect the worst in situations — that way I’m never caught off guard.

Thank you.

This is new me! I can't start what I can't continue, I'll prefer to call my siblings than forcing calls on a useless man that doesn't have my time lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

Please Accept my condolence...Death is the meal everyone old and young, strong and weak, Good or bad people must eat someday..

I will suggest that you do not throw an accusing fingers on anyone at the moment....Please for the sake of anything you hold sacred, do not believe the pastor....

If you really want to know the cause of your mum's demise, autopsy report is the way to go..If the reports says that the cause of death is unknown, then you can think otherwise.... The cheapest way some Nigerian go about the cause of death is to blame someone because it cost nothing...And there's gonna be a native doctor or pastor that will affirm to that....Those people have destroyed so many homes and families..

This is the time to come together as one family... as you said, your mum is a gentle person, She will desire a peaceful event...please let her event be as she was known for (gentle and a peaceful person)... Once again accept, my condolence..

I appreciate your submission, God bless you.

Family / Why Do Bad Things Happen To Good People? by bayocanny: 5:39pm On May 18
The death of my biological mother made me thrown out this question, "why do bad things happen to good people?".

Since last year, my mom has been down with strange illness. We took her to the hospital, done necessary check up and all, doctor prescribed different medications which she took accordingly, yet not significant improvement.

Days, weeks, and months passed her health continue to deteriorate, she couldn't eat and as a result she loss some weights. During this time, I was not around my elder brother and sisters were the one taking care of her. However, I always travel back home occasionally to visit and check on her.
According to my brother, all medications given to her make no difference. While at it, she was taken to a church, from church to a traditionalist, still no improvement.

Note: I don't believe in spirituality

In some quarters, her sickness was spiritual. According to a pastor, the sickness was inflicted on her by some members of the families, friends and associates. I begin to wonder what could have brought an homo sapiens to deemed it fit to wicked a fellow homo sapiens.

My dear mother was a gentle, easy going, and God fearing woman. She always confides in us whatever she's doing. She was loved by families, friends and neighborhood due to her open-mindedness and being a cheerful giver. She has never for once speak bad about anybody within our family and neighborhood.

We did our best. Unfortunately, she died last week embarassed. This is the first time to loss someone dear to me, I can't even explain how am feeling right now, I wish somebody should wake me up and tell me this is a dream. I felt so much pains and heartache.

In introspect and based on what transpired, I have come to the conclusion that the circumstances to the death of my mom was not an ordinary eyes (like Yoruba people do say). I really don't understand why someone/some people will engage in all sort of wickedness to bring down fellow human being, even when the suppose person has done nothing bad to you or anyone.

Why are people so wicked?

Why do God allow wickedness to thrive in this sinful world.

Most importantly, why do God allowed bad things to happen to Good people?

I didn’t say it was a red flag school, I said I hope it doesn’t get red flagged. The number of applicants to WIU is alarming, they have about 4-5 WhatsApp groups that is filled to its brim.

Did the school even reject anyone’s application?

Oh sorry. Hopefully the school will not be flagged.
The Facebook page created for admitted students for Fall 2021 is more than 10.
Have never seen any applicant rejected for admission.

MFA (Painting), the graduate coordinator sent me the mail that I have been accepted, his word "We are still looking at our options, If funding comes through, we promise to let you know the second that situation changes." I was sent an mail to send my official transcript so that the university can send my acceptance letter. One of the current student I chat with said they normally offer tuition waiver and some funding so I hope it will come with the acceptance letter.

Alright, do the needful and get your I-20.
Make sure you follow up with your GC, you will be funded hopefully.
