Please can I still get Admission for Spring Semester MS?

If so can you assist with the names and if they offer Application waiver.

Thank you guys. Please urgent answers needed.

Good morning, it is good to read at least 5 or 10 pages, this is because most of the questions being asked has been replied by gurus in the house.

Hello guys, for someone going for an f1 visa interview without taking toefl exams but was still accepted by the school, Will there be a problem during the interview?

Also does anyone have the dates available for f1 visa in Lagos?

Visa interview is at the discretion of the VO.
Your interview success depend on how you market yourself, not taking standardized test doesn't reduce your chances of getting approval.

I really don't know about available dates in Lagos, but if you're unable to get one why not check Abuja.

Baba, don't just search for programs in social sciences. Be specific so that gurus can direct you.
Also, you can apply for PGC or PGD either in colleges or Universities.
York University offer some social sciences programs.

Good morning all . I'm in a great dilemma here . It's very tough searching for a Graduate Diploma in the social sciences in Canada. I have a government and Public Administration BSC and I have been on the look for a program in Canada. My initial plan was to go for an international relations master but I was enlightened here that with my 2.2 grade , it's best I opt for a PGD by the amiable Lekkibobo. He did ease my burden a lil and admonished I take up a human resources management PGD from New Brunswick which I was on course to complete application before the available seats were occupied. Now , I'm back to ground Zero again and I need insights from those of you here who have quantum knowledge about this procedure.
I'm searching for a program in a low tuition School in Canada and I would love for anyone here to shine light on my path which is beclouded by fogs
sup bro, we're in the same boat. Which of the social sciences program do you wants to apply for?
Note that, when applying for PGD/PGC it is advisable to enrolled into program related to your undergraduate.

You are very right! Benue, Nasarawa and Kaduna girls are f*ckaholics.

Gbagyi and Gwari girls (the indigenous local natives of Abuja) dey do too but they prefer doing it with their own people more because of language constraints and the fact that their people frown at inter-tribal unions and sex especially for their women.

I went to Zaki biam in Benue and my d*ck hear am!

No, a PGD is not the same as Advanced Diploma

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) /Post Graduate Certificate (PG. Cert) is a postgraduate qualification awarded after bachelor’s degree. It is a one-year or two years program comprising of two/three to four semesters.

The duration of an Advanced Diploma course is two years, and it is lower than a bachelor’s degree

In summary, in a case of you having either a B.SC (2.2 or 3rd Class) or an HND, a PGD or PG. Cert is what you should go for

thanks baba

in the USA for Nigerians ?

Bros, you can still enrol into PhD programs.

For instance, If your programs length is 4years or 10years. You will have to renew your visa every Two (2) years.

There is no difference between a PGC and PGD. Most importantly as an HND holder you're quite eligible to apply for admission in any that has your choice of program .

It will end in praise.
Thanks baba, appreciate your inputs.

undecided If she's deceiving herself, then what are you doing? Telling the lies? Tueh
She's right to say schools are being sympathetic with their international students home and outside the U.S. Despite covid-19, there are international students who still have GA, scholarship, and admission deferred to Spring 2021 with funding intact. Someone said here that the scholarship is on paper. I wonder if that dude is a spokesman for all the colleges and universities in the US. Just today, my sister received scholarship worth of $28K. It is not on paper; it is real. Most schools in the US are really showing empathy to their international student. A friend in Nigeria recently got 90% tuition scholarship to study her course online, and the balance can be paid when she arrives on campus in January. What you don't know don't say you know. People are finding grace where you see shadow.

Dooms day preachers, well done!
Who is dragging scholarship with you?
You have successfully disgress from the subject matter.

You are absolutely spot on.

In addition to this, if you are a fall hopeful, there is a need to liaise with your graduate coordinator. They may be sympathetic enough to understand the whole COVID situation and let you have more flexible options, especially if you have a scholarship or fellowship pending on the line. It's definitely not easy at all emotionally but still keep faith. If it gets to the point where you have to defer or even forego the entire admission, know that you can still do it again. Some might have gotten even more than one offer. If you can do it before you can do it again. Don't let it hang over you like a dark cloud.

I wished more people could be kinder and more strategic with their words as it costs zero naira or dollar. Some of you know how it is like to wait for something and never get it, yet, all of a sudden we seem to have forgotten.
You're just deceiving yourself.

My takeaways from this whole conversation can be categorized into 4 people as follow:

1. Most people already in the US are either more interested in us staying alive than travelling to the US or hoping we dont get to the US like them. This is because, most of them jump at every opportunity and magnify every post that reads : " you cant travel this year". They also have posted some things about these impossibilities in the past, and are hoping to God things dont work out so they can say: "I said it". I wouldnt know why, maybe just to preserve their ego or ...

2. Most people still in Nigeria are somehow desperate, hopeful and refreshing their feeds every day. They wish things will work out well so they can put this behind them. Due to this, they turn blind eyes to most of the discouraging contents (even though some of them are true).

3. Some people still in Nigeria are neutral. They are hopeful but also have other plans, while watching how the situation unfolds. If its possible this year, fine, if not, good. So, their opinions might be bias or they may show some form of non-challant attitude...but it doesnt mean they dont care.

4. Some people already in the US knows the reality but while using data from the realities on ground, they still find a way to give people hope or encourage them and put themselves in their shoes...not just saying : " just forget it, you cant travel...blah blah". These people have some high level skill of EI.

In all, if you are still in Nigeria...I think you should aim to be #3...hope that things can be good at anytime but also have other plans to keep you busy while at it. If you are already abroad, please and please, we already know things are bad...you dnt need to spend time on google to find evidence to prove that to us...you dont need to emphasize how bad tins are, you dnt need to tell people not to hope- you might have done worse if in their shoes...Please try to be #4

I hope everyone achieves their heart desires and see you at the top...if MIT is in Nigeria, maybe most of us wont be trying so hard to leave
All these epistle is to what end exactly?
Try to reason logically for once bro.

Point of correction. CDC never agreed to any mistake. Main stream Republicans have gone past "denial" stage with respect to Covid. Even Trump has accepted that Covid will get much much worse. So pay no attention to Deanna Lorraine and her stupid theories and useless tweets. Anybody with a smart phone and data will tweet. let her come and explain why ICU beds have maxed out in most parts of Florida.

We should learn to do more research and evaluate what we hear. Don't just accept anything you hear as the truth just because it aligns with your optimism
I like your perspective and the way you organized your logical views. You predicted lots of things earlier on and it becoming reality.
