Those people justifying what he did are under the same umbrella and people should note and be wary of doing business with them. If someone does the same to them, their views will be different. 400k profit on a single item is definitely diabolical as you have said. And they'd still collect installation fee SolomonGrundy: Such mark up is diabolical. I don't know why people are so economical with the truth. I feel so irritated reading some takes here about the whole thing.
Over profiteering off someone all in the name of "it's business" is the most crazy thing I've ever heard.
Some persons want to make all the millions in this world off just one job. Smh |

Sako's issues are on a different level compared to Deye, you can count how many people have complaints about Deye, but Sako almost everyone has a complaint or two Dam5reey1:
Thousands of people no get issues. The Fan noise no loud reach an industrial fan noise yet people over react to the inverter fan noise. If you check this Thread you will even think say Deye am 2 no good as well, someone here has been experiencing issues with even DEYE SUN-6KW AM2 inverter, can you now say DEYE is also bad, we have thousands running fine. |

You need to do a proper load audit, state the wattage of each appliance and how long you plan to run each per day Pabodo: I can never stop thanking you guys for the good works by keeping this group alive and flourishing.
Please I will appreciate a professional advice. I want to set up an Offgrid system for my family (3 Bedroom) Loads are; Double door thermocool freezer, Water heater(Alternate), 1.5hp non inverter AC, 3 Ceiling, Washing machine, Home theatre, 55" Smart TV, Electric Iron(shut down others when use), Blender, 15 lighting points, other household items + allowance.
Question
1. What capacity of lithium battery bank can I use 2. What Premium or Medium grade inverter/size can you recommend 3. How many panel
For the lithium battery bank, which is advisable?
1. Buy already coupled bank from China or 2. Buy the cells/materials from China and find who couples it in Nigeria ( Store on Alibaba is Docan Technology or any other recommended).
Finally I will do my review and MAKE SURE I get someone from this group to install which will be my contribution |

It is a 4.2kw not 3kw. Our other 3.5kw inverter powers our air fryer. The brand has a quality issue. Plus an air fryer is not an inductive load Obnoxious2001: The inverter sizing is low na...
1700w air dryer is an inductive load.
Check am na
Most hybrid inverter are not Good with inductive load.
A 3kw might just output only 2.5kva of power...
So the whole kW might just be the PV power input of this inverters |

We recently installed a Sako 4.2kw inverter about 3 months ago, and the inverter malfunctioned two weeks ago when we tried using a 1700W air fryer (every other appliance was turned off before turning on the air fryer). The inverter was repaired at their repair center and stop working today again. Seeing similar complaints from others raises questions about the quality of their product. Do your due diligence before buying. Edrizz: My brother, have been battling same issue in one of installations, I was dumbfounded listening to those problems u shared from my client cos i never had or seen such scenario before until I visited the site n saw things myself, what I discovered was that the sako inverter interference n d other problems u shared above are due to the fact that u connected the inverter to d earth... I contacted their support n the person said I should connect only the panels to the earth n when I further asked him that how do I protect the inverter from lightening through d grid, he responded that such is a natural disaster n can't be prevented ... stay away from Sako products n prioritise ur mental health |

Both options has its advantages |
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Bb007: 11:07am On Nov 11, 2024 |
Thank you mctfopt: If you have any idea on connecting solar panels, connecting a solar pump is easy. It has a control box. Just follow the instructions on the accompanying leaflet to connect.
It's best you buy the pump that has capacity to use AC, just in the event you need water when there is no sun. Buy appropriate solar panels to match the size of pump.
In the attached pictures, one is DC only, the other type of pump can do with both AC and DC. |

Yorubahdguy: Hello my people
I need help again. Remember months back, I had a 6 units of battery, 10kva 48volts inverter and 14 panels installed for me. Though, only 4 batteries are running at the moment and the other two are just connected to charge.
Recently, I noticed a drop. The backup doesn’t last at all. This system usually takes me 24 hours and repeat if there’s no light. But now, once the sun goes down, it doesn’t serve past 6 hours sef that’s even if I’m running just a rechargeable fan and a light bulb. Then, this system would take me till dawn even with my fridge on and I won’t use past 40% of the total charge overnight.
Initially, I thought it was the charge controller so I had one of my boss swap his charge controller with mine, but no changes. Then I realized that when I charge with NEPA, it works very fine. But when I charge with solar, it doesn’t last at all. Meanwhile… I have 14 whole panels.
One of my boss said that dusts has covered the panels due to the harmattan that we need to clean the panels panels which we did.
In summary, system lasts and works very fine when charged with NEPA, but doesn’t last at all when I charge with solar panel.
What could be the issue? I’ve been substituting with fuel because our light is not always constant.
Please, help a brother. Post it here https://www.nairaland.com/390522/solar-energy-complement-fta/1554#390522.49758 |

Please can you post a picture or the brand of the fan. I'll like to get one. Thank you isangjohnson: I currently have two types in my house.
The first one is a 12v DC & 220v AC 50inch, plastic blades with rated power of 33w max for AC and 28w max for DC. It has 5 speed control on the remote with the lowest speed of 10w (this is the speed we normally use in the house). Middle speed is 20w. The second one is a 12v DC & 220v AC 56inch, metal blades with the rated power of 45w max for AC and 33w max for DC. Remote speed control is 5 with the lowest speed of 18w ( this is the one we normally use) and it blows very well. |

Thank you for the update. I will go back next week and try to see the PCO. Did you by mistake get the name of the 2/I/c shypo: Seriously, this is the real deal for Festac office.
I was directed to the 2/I/c office and his first statement was, am I ready for fast track and I say NO, why waiting since Feb 1st and now pay for fast track.
I went upstairs to see the PCO and I was directed to see his SA, which is currently helping out.
I will update after collection. |

If you are still there, try this strategy someone posted here "The officers there may not allow you initially but you should insist. They might even tell you to go and see the second in command (2/i/c PCO) in the other building because he's also very corrupt just like them. If you go there, first thing he will ask you is whether you are willing to fast track it. If they refuse you seeing the PCO initially, you can go downstairs or outside, wait for say 30 minutes and go back to the PCO's office telling them that the 2/i/c directed you to him. When you get in, explain your situation to him. He will help you." mrsglo: This information is misleading. I am currently at the Festac office and was told they are yet to finish with March for those that are DIY. The marching order given by the PCO seem to affect only those people who captured using agents. I was told they are currently clearing those of JUNE applicants but it is strictly those who did via various contacts. I have been waiting to be allowed to see the PCO but those who can grant access will frustrate you and direct you to his minions who will insist there is nothing they can do and you should just wait. One of the officers I spoke to said I should check back first week October. Featac office is a total mess. The PCO is a good man from all account but they will not allow you see him. |

Okay, Thank you for this info feathersoft: If you are DIY at Festac and your passport has not been produced for 5 or 6 months, go and report to the PCO like I explained earlier and your passport will be produced and activated within a week. I did same and got positive result. The PCO is a good man. You don't have to bribe anybody to get it done |
