LATEST FROM MR AFOLABI, THE SENIOR SPECIAL ASSISTANT TO MR PRESIDENT ON JOB CREATION VIA FACEBOOK
GENERAL: Mr. Afolabi encouraged everyone to think outside the box, especially Nteach volunteers who instead of staying at home doing nothing because it's holiday period. They should engage themselves in earning extra income. He also admonished them to learn new skills to develop themselves, if possible join their Nagro counterpart to farm and learn something on fish farming and so on.
DEVICE COLLECTION: He first apologized over the delay on device collection. He said collection will start hopefully by the end of this week with Lagos and Abuja to expect message for their device collection. By next week more states will be involve in collection of the device. He however, said only batch A will collect their device and it will run till August ending.
PAYMENT: Mr. Afolabi apologized to beneficiaries using first bank who are yet to receive their July stipend. He said it was technical fault and they are currently working on it. He also said for those that are yet to receive since the inception of this program that they are doing their best. According to him, last week, they sent 2000 volunteers involved for payment, but some of them were rejected because their BVN have not been link to their account. He encouraged those involved to go to their bank and do the needful else, they will continue to have payment issue.
BACKLOGS: Mr. Afolabi said they are currently processing backlogs for beneficiaries involved. As soon as this is done, they will receive their backlogs.
2017 ASSESSMENT TEST: He said some have complained they can't login to take their test. According to him, if you are in that category, it means your BVN and your name doesn't match and so your application ends. He also said only N-TAX have started their verification exercise. Lastly, he said they are having meeting with ministry of finance, after the meeting, they will update volunteers via their various social media platforms.

Good morning Sir, please they said here that N-TAX have started verification exercise. Please where is Enugu state doing their own verification exercise because i have not heard of such in Enugu here. Sir pls help me, am among the first people that got sms for test and i did mine on 1st July. Since then, have not got any sms for verification

Yes, i got it around 4:25 am this morning. I just finished the test now. Please, am asking can sombody that have not get sms write the test because my sister have not get but she log in and the test came out. Can she start writing without the SMS?

I just finish my test now but its only 11 questions that i saw there. Pls, is there any body that saw more than 11 questions? Plesase i just want to know

I have been on this N-power site to register since 3am this morning up till now to no avail. Pls is there anybody that his or her registration has went through, let the person tell us abeg.

Its quite relieving after the FG announced the commencement of the N-power program as many unemployed graduated seemed hopeful. This program is said to absorb over 600,000 graduate. Nobody enjoys being unemployed though but, I want you to know how tired up you will be in this program once you are given the job.
Remember they requested for ur BVN?
This means that after you apply for the job, you will not be able to apply for other Government job thereafter. As it will read in there database that you are already employed at the Federal level, there is no flexible potting. A friend who works with with a Federal Secondary School shared how he went for an interview during the CBN recruitments and after performing excellently, they told him he had a Job under the same FG through his BVN. So, if you wish to apply for this job, consider not getting any other Federal Jobs. While this may be a way to reduce unemployment think of the implications it will have in your life.
Just like NYSC, you will be supervised, you will not be allowed to leave a particularly area. Really NYSC part II
You will be tired up with 23k for 2yrs.......reflect on that

Pls, let us not forget that Nigerian Empowerment (N-power) is meant to empower you so that after the period of two years, you can be able to establishe yourself with reasonable entreprenue business if you did not get any job by that time. Secondly, we should stop reasoning like a tau....... (complete it). Who told you that Fed gov wil stop you from getting a life time job because of two yrs stipends they are giving you? My dear, a friend of mine was regreting why he did not register because his coleague in d office was among and receiving too. if i may ask you: all the people that did SUR-P, how many of them is unempployed during that period? Pls, let not forget that it is two yrs program so let nobody fool you that they wil take you as permanent teacher after the program elapse or If i may ask: how many of us were converted after NYSC. Pls use your brain, d teachers should not delegate their jobs to you and now be your assistant. Know that your are assisting them not d reverse. Know your limit as an assistant teacher abeg. FCSC should shortlist first, not looking for an avenue to bring out their kindred names and call it list.

Yea, service is gud nd I tank God for making me serve under my boss; J.O.B. What a wonderful experience i had wit dt man. Shout upon shout,nothing can pls him,bt he made me stretch my self more than my limit. But wat pains me most is that am not going to meet all my friends in camp again because there is no POP. Am happy because am facing th real world now and i knows dt God is taking me to a greater nd perfect level. Am gud to go, can't wait to see next 2moro

Ambros, This exaggeration is too bad,destroying the future careers of your follow graduates. Let me tell U dis names,reg numbers and call up numbers U mention here is not in existence as long as Esut is concern. AM a graduate of Esut Electrical electronics engineering 2005 set serving in delta state and finishing next 2moro. so go and verify the school they com from not esut. my reg number is 2005/ 77184 and my call up number is est/2011/232032. so can u see dt there is not similarities with wat u give there.
