Health › ‘being Permanently Aroused Is TORTURE by bbeckky(op): 11:52am On Feb 14, 2013
Shop worker, 22, has 50 orgasms a day and is even turned on by her mobile phone

Amanda Gryce, 22, suffers from Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome
Condition means she can have up to 10 orgasms an hour
Triggers include ringing mobile phones, car journeys and loud music
Florida native Gryce describes living with the condition as ‘torture’
She says it has affected her relationships and intimidates men
Living in a state of permanent sexual arousal might not sound like such a bad deal for many of us, but for Amanda Gryce, 22, it’s no laughing matter.
The 22-year-old says her life is being ruined by constant multiple orgasms which can be triggered by just about anything imaginable, including loud music, car journeys and even ringing mobile phones.
And it can happen absolutely anywhere – when she’s with her friends and even while she’s at work as a sales associate in a baby products shop.

Torture: Amanda has suffered from the condition since she was eight and says it has ruined her life
The reason for the daily onslaught of orgasms is a rare condition known as Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome or PSAS, which first manifested when Gryce was just eight years old.
And although PSAS is rare, it can have a devastating effect on the handful of people who suffer from the condition
Last year, 39-year-old Gretchen Molannen, from Florida, committed suicide after battling the condition for 16 years.
The news was particularly difficult to take for Amanda, also from Florida, who sometimes has to masturbate up to 15 times in one day to get relief.
She said: ‘It is not pleasurable: you could say it has become a torture. This condition controls your life completely and it is like living a nightmare.’

‘I can have 50 orgasms in one day and five or ten within an hour of each other. It happens when I’m with my friends or out in public and it’s very embarrassing.
‘It kills me inside. I just have to put on a smile and pretend that nothing’s wrong.
‘Orgasms are supposed to be a good feeling but I’ve had them every day for so long now that I’m living with constant fear and shame.’
She added: ‘At my lowest points, I have thought about suicide but I had to reassure myself that I would never resort to something like that and that it wasn’t going to happen to me.’
Amanda first began suffering from the condition when she was just eight and by the age of 13 she was battling the intense feelings as she sat in her classroom during lessons.
But, raised Catholic and told in Sunday school that sexual thoughts and masturbation was a sin, she was too scared to confide in anyone.

Cry for help: The condition can take a terrible toll on sufferers with some even committing suicide to escape Cry for help: The condition can take a terrible toll on sufferers with some even committing suicide to escape
She said: ‘As a child I had no idea what was happening to me – I thought I was just sex-obsessed. I had to masturbate to relieve my condition and I felt guilty every time I did it.’
It wasn’t until 2008 that she heard about PSAS while listening to the radio but despite contacting four different doctors for help, found that none had ever heard of the condition.
Since then she has tried to move on with her life and, at 20, even lost her virginity after years of fearing sex would make her condition worse.
But she admits she has not been able to have a steady relationship – because men either take advantage or are intimidated.
She said: ‘When I lost my virginity I was left emotional and disappointed. It didn’t make me feel better. The guy that I was with seemed sympathetic at first but then used my condition to get more sex.
‘I’ve been with a few guys since but it’s difficult- I’ve found some guys are even intimidated.
‘Thankfully I’ve had the courage to tell my family and they have all been very understand and supportive.’
She added: ‘I get people say I’m making it up and that I’m really a nymphomaniac but I don’t let it faze me.
‘I just now hope that there will one day be more understanding of this condition and my story will give just one other person the courage to get support.’

Crime › Man Killed Widow Lover For Money Ritual by bbeckky(op): 11:41pm On Feb 13, 2013
Kafilat Lateef was a young woman of 36 years.
Widowed five years ago and left with three children,
she must have felt the absence of a companion which
made her yield to the love overtures of Gbenga Taiwo,
then a plank seller at Bodija market, Ibadan. Their paths
had crossed over two years ago, as she was also a
trader in foodstuffs at the same market.
Happy that she had found love again, Kafilat put in all
she had into the relationship. Her family members were
also happy that she was looking bright again. Putting
her trust in the man she had had intimacy with several
times since their relationship started, Kafilat did not
think twice when Taiwo called her on January 19 ,
inviting her to Oyo town, where he had relocated since
2012. She returned to Ibadan on January 20 and went
back to Oyo on January 21. He reportedly told her to
come for the N50,000 he promised her.
Happy that she would be seeing her lover again, she
went to Oyo, and when her sister called her later, she
told her that she was with Taiwo at Idi Ope area of
Oyo. She was given food and drinks, which she took
with happiness, not knowing that she was drinking to
her own death. Unknown to her, her drink had been
laced with drug, which sent her to sleep, from where
she slipped to death.
Information gathered from her lover, Taiwo, who had
been arrested along with four others in connection with
Kafilat’s death, revealed that immediately she became
unconscious, the loverboy and his friends, Afeez
Kareem and Lukman Ganiyu, who had already planned
her death, clubbed her on the head with a dagger, after
which they put a kolanut in her mouth and buried her
in a shallow grave already dug for the purpose.
The act was carried out in a house where Ganiyu was
working as a security guard.
Source learnt that Taiwo was hellbent on becoming
wealthy, not minding the means through which that
would be achieved. He had reportedly approached an
Islamic cleric, Mohammed Saheed, that he was
interested in money ritual. Saheed claimed that he told
Gbenga that he could not do such but gave him an
alternative which could also yield money if done.
Saheed reportedly told him to put a kolanut in the
mouth of the corpse of an elderly man or woman and
bring it the following day after the kolanut must have
dropped from the corpse’s mouth. To quicken the
process, Gbenga decided to employ the services of
prostitutes which he would kill to achieve his aim.
“However, when I approached prostitutes, I could not
afford what they said I would pay if they should sleep in
my house overnight. That was why I decided to make
use of one of my numerous female friends,” Taiwo said.
He further confessed that he tried two other lovers. He
gave the names of his other lovers as Mama Iroko who
came to him from Iroko, a surburb of Oyo town, and
Mama Dada, a trader at Gbagi market whom he invited
from Ibadan.
He disclosed that while Mama Iroko did not sleep after
her drink was laced with drug, Mama Dada suspected
his motive, especially when she noticed the shallow
grave that was dug. According to him, “she did not
sleep throughout the night and when it was daytime,
she asked me whether it was good for me to think evil
towards her. She left thereafter.”
Unfortunately, Kafilat became the victim, as she fell
asleep after her drink was laced with drug. The
following morning after she was buried, her suspected
killers went to the graveside to take the kolanut as
expected but to their consternation, there was none.
They scrapped the earth off the remains and saw the
kolanut still in the mouth of the corpse.
When the trio saw that their plan had not worked, they
reportedly decided to dismember her remains after
severing the head. They allegedly burnt the pieces and
buried them in another shallow grave by a dumpsite
behind the house where the dastardly act was
committed. Taiwo confessed to the police that he took
the head to a herbalist, one Adeyemi Adedokun a.k.a.
Baba Agbadu to use it for money ritual for him.
Adedokun, however, denied being given the head,
though he admitted that Taiwo brought the head to his
house.
Also, Mohammed Saheed from Ilesa-Baruba in Kwara
State, whom Taiwo alleged to have asked him to bring
kolanut, denied telling him to kill someone, saying he
was only tring to help. Saheed, who said he was a
Quranic teacher, told Source , that Taiwo came to him
for money ritual but claimed that he told him he was not
into such things.
Saheed added that Taiwo also brought his friends Afeez
and Lukman, who also wanted to do charms for
authority and favour respectively.
According to Saheed, “I told him what our forefathers
used to do with kolanut from the mouth of an elderly
dead person, saying that if this is done, it would be
found by the graveside by the following day.
“ I also told him that the deceased’s spirit would try to
resist the kolanut being taken but if it could be forcefully
taken, it would be used for a charm that would be
bringing any fortune from wherever one may want.
“Three days after, he came back with the kolanut but
told me that he did not find the kolanut by the
graveside, so he had to exhume the corpse to take it.
“I sent him away that I would not be involved in such a
thing because I had already told him that the kolanut
should not be used on exhumed corpse, an accident
victim or someone deliberately murdered.”
Sunday Tribune further gathered that Taiwo was a
wanted suspect in Oyo State Police Command in
relation with cases of robbery in which he was
involved. He was said to have abandoned his wife and
only child, relocating to Oyo from Ibadan immediately
he knew there was a manhunt for him.
Police sources also told Tribune that Taiwo’s father had
already disowned him as a result of the robbery cases
he was allegedly involved in, unknown to him that he
would still commit another crime. The father, Mr Joseph
Taiwo, is said to be the pastor of God’s Foundation
Church at Jakan area of Agbowo, Ibadan.
The Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of the
State Criminal Investigation Department, Iyaganku who
is currently investigating the case, Mrs Janet Agbede,
told Sunday Tribune that policemen comprising of Oyo
SARS operatives, detectives from CID and Durbar
Division set to work when Kafilat’s family reported the
case of their missing relation, after efforts to locate
Kafilat proved abortive. The family members had told
the police that two days after Kafilat left for her lover’s
place in Oyo, her line was not going through.
They added that they later received a call from Kafilat’s
line telling them that she had an accident in Lagos and
was hospitalised in a general hospital but was
disappointed when all efforts to locate Kafilat in any
Lagos hospital proved abortive.
Describing the act of the suspects as callous and
despicable, Mrs Agbede, advised women to be wary of
men they regard as lovers so that they would not fall
victim to evil-minded persons. Tribune gathered that a
pathologist has told police that the charred remains of
the deceased would have to be taken abroad for
autopsy and DNA. The cost was put at N1 million.

Crime › The Robbers That Molested A Woman In Her Husband's Presence... by bbeckky(op): 5:07pm On Feb 13, 2013
Residents of Ogida quarters in Benin City were shocked last Saturday when they woke to see a house wife (names withheld) shouting and pleading for help.

They rushed to the house only to discover that the woman was raped by three young men who stormed the house at about 3am. They further discovered the victim’s husband who was tied by the robbers and pushed under the bed.

The suspects Peter Anigboro (25 years old), Lucky Williams (22) and Olise Friday, forced the door of the residence of the victim open with an impoverished gun and a dagger.

The suspects immediately went for the husband, whom they tied his legs and hands after which he was pushed under the bed.

After taking care of the husband, they went for the wife whom Saturday Vanguard learnt was their original target. It was gathered that the robbers have been monitoring her movement for some days before they struck last Saturday.

It was learnt that they requested her to declare the money she sold that day from her recharge card which she quickly obliged.

The robbers further requested for recharge cards, hand sets and other valuables. While they were threatening, the victim pleaded that they should not kill her. But to her greatest shock, they pounced on her and started undressing her warning that she will be killed if she tried to resist them.
The leader of the gang, Peter Anikoro was the first to rape her and while he was doing that, his mask pulled off and that was when the victim saw the face of her attacker.

Peter is a neighour who resides in the opposite building. However, after taking his turn, others followed suit.

As if the suspects were destined to meet their waterloo that same day, they attacked another house around that same Ogida quarters where they met a 60 year-old woman and attempted to rape her too. The woman pleaded with them, and though she was not raped, they fiddled with her private part and carted away hand sets and cash from the house.

Luck ran out with the rampaging robbers when Peter took other members of the gang to his uncle’s house at Siluko road to rob. Unfortunately for them, they could not gain access to the house due to the protector.

But through the window, they were able to cart away a hand set. But some body spotted them and raised an alarm which attracted the attention of members of the vigilante group in the area. They gave the robbers a hot chase and with the arrival of policemen on patrol, they were apprehended.
The Assistant Public Relations Officer of the state Command, ASP Ahwara Ejiroro, who paraded the suspects last Monday, said they confessed to have been involved in several robbery operations and have raped several other women in the past.

According to him, “they operate with impoverish guns and daggers and their victims will think they have a real gun while they also threaten with the daggers.

As if what they did that same night was not enough, Peter who is the leader of the gang took them to his uncle’s house to rob and that was where they were apprehended. They will be charged to court for rape and armed robbery”.
Leader of the gang Peter, confessed to Saturday Vanguard: “I don’t have a job so what I did that day was to call two of my friends and told them that we are going to operate that night. We met around 9pm in a palmwine joint close to the house.

We moved to the place around 3am when everybody had gone to bed. We were monitoring her movement from the wine bar”.

Asked why they decided to rape the victim, Peter said “it was devil’s work. We did not know when we did it”.

When asked why they could not rape the 60- year woman, their second victim, he explained that “she was crying and begging us. So we felt sorry for her. We only fingered her and left the house”.

This is so pathetic, i wonder the kind of trauma the said woman is passing through now....and the memory the incident will leave the husband with.

Hmm....dats quite understandable.
chucky101: @OP. So many reason e.g, The issue of disciplining the child would be tricky, the step-father cant go hard cause the child ain't his and the mother would be protective. This might bring about an unruly adolescent and put a big strain on the union later.
The ex husband might still have some sort of hold over the woman, this could bring all sorts of issues and he just might seduce her to bed again just to spite the new husband.
There are several reasons, the new man would be vulnerable in so many ways.

Hmm...dos r selected few. On a scale of 1-10, u'll only get 2 for "happily married single mums" Datz d truth
amtheone: @op, ur assertion/assumption is wrong. I've seen many single mums happily married.

If a guy/man runs away from a lady with issue, I don't think its solely because of her child, there is more to it.

I can marry a single mum provided she has what I want and am satisfied with the circumstances surrounding her child bearing.

In conclusion, having issue is not a red card in d field of play. What matters is ur character. And for ladies, if u are bless with a child, be 100%+ proud of her/him. Always let any guy dat is interested in u know u have a child. If he doesn't want child/children, let him park well.
Dont worry, there is someone for everyone. Your child does not make you a left over. Just take your time and dont be desperate. Get to know people and tell them you have a child FIRST, then study them. If they dont want, let them go. If they do, take your time to make sure they are not there because they feel you are desperate. Always put your child first when making the decision of a new spouse. He must be willing to love and accept your child. And your child must like him too. Also BEWARE of child molesters. They see single mothers as good targets for their crazy activities. Take your time and prepare yourself for who you want to attract. Goodluck. kiss
Well said
