CHESTER48: Simple as ABC, it has been extended till June. And before you hit the keyboard, posting what you think you know, why don't you verify first? If done according to the instructions, it would send files. Video calling is a recently introduced feature, so yes for now, probably might not work. I am yet to find the time to look into it. Really? Whatsapp server would detect and block? And you got this from where? Doing an internship with whatsapp? |

oxsam88: The worst thing you can do in the USA is to constantly receive cash deposits into a business account. You do that, it's perceived as you are trying to cover your trail (hide the source of funds). Simply put: you are washing money aka money laundering. 1 Like 1 Share |

Singapore1: This is the way it's supposed to be. Seems integrity and credibility is not a word some people on this thread know anything about. @ oxsam88: Your account was limited so you can't pay: Now for the sake of argument, let's assume the above statement is true and your account really is limited with tooltip's money tied in there. Here is where that argument assumption takes us: Scenario 1: Since and during the limitation, you have posted $20k, $25k and $35k btc. Meaning you actually do have a means of paying him because you have 'sold' $80k worth of btc. Now even @460/btc, that's 36.8m, yet you find it difficult to pay up his 7.5m balance? Scenario 2: You actually haven't sold any btc, but you did collect $20k from tooltip and your first post of available btc since the limitation is $20k worth of btc...invariably the money tooltip supplied. So you posted it, no one bought and you decided to add an extra $5k to the stash, making $25k worth of btc, still no one bought then you added an extra $10k to the stash. So assuming the 1st $20k wasn't tooltip's money, you don use $15k of his money to replenish your btc wallet. Why couldn't you have refunded it as you initially suggested, making you indebted only to the tune of 750k naira? Your argument that you can't make multiple payments doesn't seem to hold water since you did make multiple payments to buy those bitcoins anyways. Truth is: when you are truly big...there are things you just don't do. There is a difference between big and perceived big. Truly the love of money is the root of all evil. Me, I want to be big and not perceived (either by myself of the world@large) as being big. @ dragnet: abeg that squad...let me know when it's in play. 12 Likes 1 Share |

Ok, late to the party, but let me just chip in ma 2cents. Now personaly, I don't see how paid escrow would do any better than free escrow; I know some have argued the point that if one is getting something from it, one is likely to make out more time since one is getting paid. Now here is where that argument falls to pieces: Unless the escrow is jobless and not earning a living, and unless escrow payment is going to be say like $50-$100 per service, it's really going to be hard to pay an escrow what would be worthwhile for him/her to dedicate more time to the escrow business at the detriment of his/her own hustle. Another point raised by singapore01, bookiemart01 and I think dragnet 2.0 (that guy is seriously making a whole lotta sense I swear): once payment comes in, people would start taking liberties. Now for those pointing out that some people turn down escrow, it's usually cos: 1). They are in class studying or preparing for exams (Tabbaz comes to mind) 2). They are guarding jealously their transfer limits (ladyf and justi4jesu comes to mind) this is to be expected and can not be faulted no matter how much you want to put it under a microscope. Now I know for a fact that when ladyf turns down an escrow or when tabbaz does so, they would usually refer you to another member of the escrow team (they have done so, so many times on the pages of this thread) and I have had cause to step in once or twice for both parties. That's how we've been able to make this work thus far. Now those of us doing the escrow service, we are not super humans, which means mistakes can happen e.g. if you escrow a paypal payment that say 2, 3 months down the line gets a charge back or you escrow a cash deposit that goes bad days or weeks after the transaction is complete...now when escrow becomes paid, and such a scenario happens, you have become liable, so please do pray tell, which kind fees dem go pay wey go cover such liabilities? As for me, my conditions are simple and basic: 1). I don't do sms alerts, so anyone who uses my services are free from sms charges, but una go pay bank charges if I have to do inter-bank transfer (for gtb, it's 105naira 2). If I don't have the time: I would try to connect you with a member who has time, if non is available then (which is highly unlikely) I'll implore you to either suspend the deal or trade with someone you are sure is trusted on the thread (even then, biko do your research: ask around and google is your friend). 3). If bitcoins are involved, ma bank account ain't getting involved (I too guard my limit jealously o, even though I have had to 'borrow' accounts on occasion) 4). When I ask you for where your bitcoin wallet is, no be because I want to hack it, it's to make transactions faster and allow for transparency (blockchain to other wallets can b crazy at times, also it saves you transaction charges sometimes, if doing intra wallet transfers) plus I always prefer to give you an empty wallet. So for me, I'd say let the free service continue, it's worked thus far, it ain't broken yet. Why attempt to fix what is not broken? 2 Likes |

Business / Re: ➜ ➜ ➜Currency/E-currency Market Deals➜ ➜ ➜ by bdavis: 9:47am On Dec 17, 2016 |
Ok, so the matter has been settled, albeit partially (so it would seem) Now for those who do not know, here is the truth of the matter: those who take cash deposits in the yankee would attest to this: Only on very RARE occasions do you get the requested cash deposit @ the time you make the request. It is usually delayed, sometimes the delay could take few days, sometimes a week or more. Now whilst tooltip erred by not informing on the 2nd deposit (although webcontractor would have us believe otherwise) it still doesn't change anything cos every business has its kinks and that's how yankee cash deposits work...to a large extent. Those who are involved in it would know. So on this score, elot's claim is baseless...@point number 1 Point number2: there are inconsistencies in elot's claims (and I'm really surprised people are not seeing it or choosing to ignore it) *elot claims he can't withdraw so as not to get flagged: this is bull and a manipulation of the truth. I have done withdrawals of same amount deposited same day and gone ahead to remit the said funds to concerned parties. Flags only go off when such deposits and instant withdrawals become too frequent, especially if they are $10k and above. This is the actual fact, so unless elot is saying he does such on a regular basis, of which he should have jst come out2say so, which tooltip from all his conversation and utterances, which points him out to b a perfect gentleman (no let ur head swell, I jst dey talk wetin I c, no b say I dey pay u compliment: cos u never agree2sell me dollar for once )would have understood and most likely agreed with. *elot claims he has over 110k customers and moves $50k daily...from same said account he is afraid to get flagged cos of $5,400. Like I always say: wisdom and foolery are very easy to spot. *elot is hinging d price of the $ on his sale of btc. Now my question to elot is this: if btc suddenly soars and he starts selling at 560/btc$, and tooltip now says he should remit@ 520/$, would he say: tooltip, u b correct guy, chop knuckle, I go forward@520/$ to ur account? An agreement is an agreement and what he is doing is simply a breach of contract. One business has nothing2do with the other, what you use the dollar for is none of your supplier's business. Even at that, you are buying dollar@445/$ and selling btc@ 480/$ that's still 35naira on every single dollar and you are here screaming blue murder cos you are no longer making the 110/$ you are used to? Haba! It's business there are highs and there are lows, you still aren't making a loss, all you'll need to do is adjust small. Besides, there are a million and one ways to use btc outside mmm. Go figure! You are a business man, guy do some research, it's what keeps every business alive. To all those wey dey talk say make tooltip collect the bar@420/$ @justi4jesu, bookiemart01 and crew: I have just 1 question, biko make una ansa am: if una b tooltip, una go collect am? We know what you guys would do if the situation were reversed o, well at least, as far as bookiemart01 goes and ur statement actually shocked me! For justi4jesu, I wasn't surprised, it was expected. Another shocker I had during this whole saga I got courtesy of none other than...dragnet! As in, I shock! For the very 1st time in my nairaland existence, drag baba and I are actually on the same page on an issue with same opinions! @dragnet: did you go on holiday or something? I swear, I'm loving this new improved version: dragnet 2.0 abeg chop knuckle baba! If to say you no be Muslim ni, I for send black label. To cap it all: like I have always said: communication is key! @elot, you need to improve on this area, your integrity is tied to how you relate with people. Even assuming tooltips money ain't clean (pls note: I said assuming, for the simple sake of argument: I am not insinuating nothing) and as a result he can't get d feds involved, 1single anonymous call or tip can have your whole life in the US crumbling like a pack of cards. I have personally seen this happen. So please be careful. And to all my fellow NLders, when issues like this come up, biko let us try to mediate appropriately and not sit on the line of personal favors. Like signapore01 would say: some peeps be commenting like dem dey get nude pictures. @onatisi, biko no quote me and tell me to enter the wall o, seems dat has become ur favorite slang now. 15 Likes |

elot: @elot: every explanation when properly presented would always make sense. But here is the crux of the matter: you have a product you don't need cos you can't afford the cost of the product. Seller has given you option to refund it. Why not refund it and let the matter be put to rest? Why keep what you don't need and waste time This thing no be rocket science, why people just like unnecessary drama? 6 Likes |

wamiikechukwu: I disagree bro...how many 'wealth building seminars' have you gone to (in and outside of Nigeria) where you are told step-by-step how to build wealth or capacity? You are given the requisite knowledge needed, the onus is on you to expand, develop, create and channel what has been disseminated. In this case: outside of the website, says it all.
