TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by Bebe123: 10:00pm On Apr 30, 2021
Hello,

Pls I need your help.

I did a WES USA is 2019 for educational purposes.
Then this year I sent an email to WES USA to send my documents to WES Canada for immigration purposes.

And WES USA included my WAEC.

When I got my WES Canada report, It was written that the DOB on my WAEC (01/May/94) differs from my normal DOB(01/Jan/94).

And I went to WAEC office and they said they don’t do change of DOB anymore and they can’t help me nor send an email to WEs.

Pls what can I do? Will affidavit be enough to explain the discrepancy?

Pls I need your help.

P.s: I never knew all his while that my weac certificate had a DOB issue as I never collected it from my secondary school since I used online WAEC printout for university purposes and for WES USA so it came as a shock.

But I emailed my school last week and they couriered it to me so I could confirm the error.

Pls help

Note: There is no Assurance you gonna get the admission within a Month, it might be more or less, it all depends on the school, but the thing is, most colleges offer admission to applicants in between 2-4 weeks.
Thank you very much. It’s not for me but for a friend In an urgent situation. God bless you.

Pls guys I need help this was what my agent sent to me saying that I'm banned from Canada and based of what am seeing that's not what the letter says, so pls can some one go through it and explain what they mean, am I welcomed to reapplying?
I am so sorry that this happened to you but you shall overcome it.

Please get a VERY GOOD IMMIGRATION LAWYER ASAP.

Also vet the lawyer and your new application in Nairaland as you move forward so if there is any error, you can be guided.

Pls don’t do this on your own. I think the 5year ban is too serious to be done on your own unless you can do a great job and it’s airtight.

There are legit immigration lawyers that you can access from CAnada to fight this claim.

DON’T GIVE UP.
IT WILL END IN PRAISE.

Well for mine, I opted the courier method because I noticed a few discrepancies on their website. There was a place I saw that transcripts sent to their email will considered unofficial and then saw a different thing again. However, I ended up sending it both via email and courier as my school forgot to give the courier company since last month.
Thank you so much for your response.
Since you sent yours via email then I guess they accepted it.

I think as long as the school uses their official email to send the transcript then it should be official. It’s only when you send with your personal email that it’s considered unofficial I think.

I just want to be sure and see if anyone successfully sent in official results to MUN in that format.

Thanks again

MUN applicants pls help.

In sending official transcript for Memorial University for Undergraduate application, I saw 3 options including email.

Will Memorial Uni accept official transcript emailed by the school with official email or it must be sent through courier?

Pls which method did you use?

Pls Reply, it’s urgent. Thanks in advance.

Hello Bebe123,

I can't confidently comment on this. Stick with the instructed requirement for now. I have only seen 2 successful cases with TOEFL amongst the Indians some years back.

As time goes and as we observe closely, may be more understanding might have adhere fully to this development. As you know, NSE is still relatively new.

Best of Luck
Noted.
Thanks for your response

Hello NeedMobile,

The question will be answered in relative connection to the SP process. So it goes;

If you intend to go through the NSE stream and have a valid IELTS TRF, option one is correct.

If you intend to go through the NSE stream, but will soon take IELTS test, option two is correct.

If there is a strong conviction to opt for the Regular stream, the last option is correct.

In essence, the last option is the only compatible option to the asked query based on geographical advantage.

Best of Luck
Can TOEFL be used instead of IELTS for the NSE visa application?

Very true. It's not about them being nice. Firstly, I believe you just have the right to know why you application was rejected in the first place. Ask. MUN would always reply. Then when you get your response, you'll know if it's sth that can be rectified in a given time (maybe a missing document, or a misunderstanding of an information) or your scores weren't just good enough for them. In the case of the latter, you find another school. In the case of the former, you sort things out and ask for a consideration for that same semester you applied for.
My thoughts though...it might not always work every time. But atleast know the reason you were refused.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I definitely learnt from it.
You’re awesome

Hello Bebe123,

I really don't think a Deed of Gift is the best approach for an applicant as young as 18 in lieu, the funds can be referenced to property sales, loan repayment etc.

It is difficult and not certain to say what the VO may likely request for, especially when it concerns POF.

If your mom isn't financially buoyant or have up to about 5m readily available, she can act as a cosponsor and her friend can as well pass as your auntie if there will be documents at your disposal to back the claims.

Since, your level of study is UG, you will be needing more convincing to do in regards to your POF because UG study level can be financially demanding. It will make so much sense to offset the first year tuition and have your LE readily available.

In the light of the financial situation of your mom, you can opt to use a close family member as your sole sponsor if the person can reliably demonstrate financial commitment toward your oversea study.

Best of Luck
Thank you so much. God bless you.

Pls can this be done for an 18 year old going for undergraduate?

Can a friend send money to my mother’s account lump sum so I can use it for sponsorship?

Will the visa people ask for 6 months bank statement? Cus if they do they will see that she doesn’t have money in her account except the lump sum sent?
Pls help

Hi,
I mailed them just as you advised and got a response about 5 minutes later stating that one of my reference came after deadline and they didn't receive the other.(I thought I will get notification of it, so that i can inform my referees).
they asked if i will like my application to be consider for fall 2022.

don't know what to do now!
Wow. Sorry about that but it’s good you asked them. Now you know what went wrong and can be proactive in your next application.

I think you should tell them yes. Use the school as your backup.
In the meantime apply to other graduate schools. Or apply for winter session if it’s available.

oh. I guess they're nice
I don’t think it has anything to do with being nice. She probably gave an airtight application and concrete reasons which made t m review her application. She probably got points for taking initiative too.

If her application was poor or not up to t he if standards, she would have definitely gotten another no.

So sorry about this. Try to find out the reason for your rejection. I got a rejection in 2019 from MUN. I emailed them giving them reasons why I felt I didn't deserve the rejection and they replied me with an acceptance letter.
This is impressive.
We can all learn from this.
Shoot your shot especially when you know you had a strong and airtight application.

Hello Dolex86,

The best approach is to get your friends to send the funds to either of your parent. Thereby, the funds will be transferred to you from the account with the narrative – Study Support Funds for my Daughter in Canada. A Deed Gift can be easily drafted out as evidence to tackle the lump sum.

On the other note, you mum can depose a Sworn Affidavit of Custody Declaration from a Notary Public or High Court. In the affidavit, the financial budget for the children's upkeep, and other financial commitment for their wellbeing should be stated therein.

Best of Luck
