I was talking to a married lady colleague of mine and she sought my advice on a Family issue.

She got married about a year and 4 months ago, and recently had a baby girl. The baby will be 6 months old in March and the mother only recently resumed from her maternity leave. Her husband is complaining about her job and the toll its having on the baby. He has demanded that she resign and be a house wife to take care of the baby and others to come.

There are no family members to assist with taking care of the baby and the Husband does not dig the idea of a day care or nanny.

Any advice for my friend please, cause i dont know what to say to her

The recruitment process in MTN is very transparent, and unbiased.
I normally don't bother with posting to correct other people's opinion on Nairaland , but I could not let this pass without commenting because I have firsthand experience of quite a number of MTN conducted recruitment.
As stated by G-reycell, ur pass score is valid for three months however, most MTN conducted interviews requires a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 applicants, hence if 5 applicants or more score more dan u in d test, u would not be called for d interview but ur score will still be valid for any other position u apply for within 3 months, and u may get called for an interview for the new position
Without having to write d test again, provided that not more dan 5 applicants score more dan u in the test for d new position.

I have seen people break up over issues dat are more trivial dan this, and also I have seen people who actually confirmed that something did happen, forgiving d erring party and making up. Its not an easy decision to make, but as many people have said it all depends on the relationship you guys have. The trust, the love, and understanding.
In my own case, she can't even try it cause, it will be d end of it.

I have a friend who worked for a while ( 2 and a half years to be precise), and left December 2008.

I will give you some info which i beleive should be of help.

As at the time He left, he was on second level ( Banking Officer)

His take home pay on a monthly basis was approximately 120,000.00 ( after statutory tax deductions, pension deduction, medical deduction and the deduction of approximately 40,000 per month for an upfront payment of housing allowance. ( Meaning he collected 480,000 at the begining of the year)

The difference in pay between the Assistant Banking Officer and the Banking Officer is not always too much so we can assume that it would have been in the range of 105,000.00 after deductions ( Probably collected Upfront of 360,000 at the beginning of the year)

Things have not changed much since then so this should still be helpful
