i would not advice them to invest there because looking at the satellite pictures. you must look at where to best place your investment. If you want to make money. Nigerian do not like to travel like they do over here. They would not go all the way to calabar to theme park .

Nigerian dont have the same culture, when the jackson pick badagry, they picked a good location because inbetween lagos and ibadan . there are more than 20 million people that live there. they do not need to travel to visit a place.

From the start of the badagry project they already have 20 million client waiting to use thier investment. It would be a successful story. theme park would be a failure like the others nigeria govt have tried in the past. it is any issue of where the people are and what would sell.

If you would set up a business looking for client. Dont wait your money. look for a location, where client would look for you.

In lagos . seller chase away customer, they pick who dey sell to. too many people. I would go where the client are and not waste my money , looking for client. Ogun state is the best location for a theme park in Nigeria.

If you look at this location in red, that where the redeemed camp is. Many years ago. it was the small dot. many years go.

that is the best location for the theme park. It would out sell itself and would pay back its loan in less than 2 years.

Awolowo, obasanjo or abiola were different individual.

Awo was a principle man , obasanjo is not. Obasanjo makes decision based on event now, because President Obasanjo love women. if you get what I mean, and so did Abiola. And Obasanjo and abiola have sowed in every tribe , ethnics and colour. So that give you thier mind set.

Awolowo was a one man, one woman type of person in we are talking of the 40 and 50. were an average nigeria had several women. The man had one wife, even when he was the most powerful in Yorubaland and the south at the time.

Now compare to president obasanjo and abiola. President Obasanjo is action. The baba get action when it comes to woman. I can tell you this at 150 years, president obasanjo would still be ready to have new wife. and have children. He is a typical yorubaman, they believe they do not count children. Baba does not mind. same thing for Abiola. It is an issue of principle. They are all different individual. we are all different individual. and we see life differently.

zik removed Eyo Ita , go and read your history. Eyo ita and his people now formed National Independence Party.

Awo was not a tribalitic person. He just believe in the rule of law. And the other ethnics group some believe in cheating. even the satellite picture shows awo was right and they were all wrong.

Look Obasanjo and awolowo are from the same state and never get along, even abiola was never awolowo friend. but they are all yorubas. it is an issue with principle and awolowo was a principle man. I can tell you this Obasanjo and abiola can bend the rule. No awo. It was difficult for awo to change his mind on issue because most of awolowo decision were not made by awolowo, but by his religious believe.

picture 1. that town where the arrow is the largest afer rom 7 others hadeija is the

now if i zoom in ( get closer) pictures, verify that it is the same town. We pick the

largest town in the picture.

Picture 3 I measure the width 0.37
picture 4 I measure the length 0.36

Area length X width = 0.37 X 0.36 = 0.1332

Now
picture 5 and 6 is Akure length= width = 14.12 X 7.44 = 105.0528

If you find out how many of that town in jigawa state in akure.

105.0528 divide 0.1332 = 788.685

So that largest town in jigawa state , you need 788.685 of that town to make one Akure.you

do not have that in the satellite picture.

From the satellite picture, Jigawa does not have 788 towns

Now let look at Katsina state.

Picture 7,8,9,10 show you how katsina looks like and daura . and we pick the biggest town.

not the average.

we zoom in picture 8 and find the length and width in picture 9. which are 0.34 and 0.40

find area = 0.34 X 0.40 = 0.136

if we now compare to akure

105.0528 divided 0.136 = 772.447 times

772.447 is the number of times that largest city in katsina would make up one akure.

From the satellite picture, katsina does not have 600 towns

Now let look at Kano state.

Picture 11,12,13 show you how kano looks like and dambarta . and we pick the biggest town.

not the average.

we zoom in picture 8 and find the length and width in picture 9. which are 0.48 and 0.46

find area = 0.48 X 0.46 = 0.2208

if we now compare to akure

105.0528 divided 0.2208 = 475.782 times

475.782 is the number of times that largest city in kano would make up one akure.

From the satellite picture, kano does not have 475.782 towns

But the Nigeria government claimed

Katsina State 5,792,578
Jigawa State 4,348,649
Ondo State 3,441,024 ( Akure is in Ondo state)

the price of oil is $60 per barrel, if there is peace. we can produce 2,500,000 barrel

While the north would have 1,750,000 barrel a day.

If we find out how much we make with the 70% per year. the calculation is.

60 x 1,750,000 x 365 days = 38,325,000,000 == $ 38 billion a year.

let the north and igbos have the 70% of the oil.

Now to find how much would nigeria without would be making from both oil and non oil . non oil should be about 11 billion ,

so 38 + 11 bilion is $49 billion

so the north if this bill goes thru would control $49 billion. This is why the northern senate and house of member need to approve the bill.

UNITED NATIONS (CNN) -- A rare meeting of U.N. Security Council heads of state, led for the first time by a U.S. president, adopted a resolution Thursday focused on stopping the spread of nuclear weapons.

President Obama is the first U.S. leader to head a United Nations Security Council meeting.

President Obama challenged the gathering, which included leaders of nuclear powers including Russia, China, Great Britain and France, to overcome cynicism against the goal of ridding the planet of nuclear arms.

"We harbor no illusions about the difficulty of bringing about a world without nuclear weapons," Obama said, adding that Thursday's meeting signaled a significant step forward in cooperative global action.

The resolution, which was adopted unanimously, calls for tighter controls on nuclear materials to prevent them from being stolen or used for military purposes. It also encourages enforcement of international treaties and U.N. resolutions regarding nuclear non-proliferation, particularly when nations such as Iran and North Korea are in violation.

"The world must stand together," Obama said. "We must demonstrate that international law is not an empty promise."

It was the first Security Council summit chaired by a U.S. president, and only the fifth time that Security Council heads of state have met. Obama led the meeting because the United States holds the revolving presidency of the Security Council in September.

Both Obama and Russian President Dimitry Medvedev, who spoke later, said the world's two nuclear superpowers were working on reducing their stockpiles in advance of a global nuclear summit scheduled for next year.

"It's obvious that an effective solution , depends on the constructive engagement of all parties," Medvedev said, adding that he expected the Russia-U.S, leadership on the issue to be backed by "all nuclear powers."

Security Council resolution 1887 calls for "locking down vulnerable nuclear weapon materials in four years" while minimizing civilian use of weapons-grade uranium. It encourages full compliance with all international treaties and resolutions on nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament, including Security Council resolutions that cite North Korea and Iran for failing to adhere to international commitments.

In addition, the resolution supports the peaceful use of nuclear energy, a theme backed by Chinese President Hu Jintao. China seeks to expand its nuclear energy capacity as part of an economic development plan that holds down greenhouse gas emissions that cause climate change.

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown also cited the role of nuclear power as a clean energy source that should be part of the solution to the global warming affecting every nation. Brown and other leaders spoke of the need to prevent nuclear weapons or the materials to make them from ending up in the hands of terrorist groups.

"The biggest risk the world faces today is of extremists getting hold of nuclear materials," said Mohammad ElBaradei, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi, who criticized the Security Council on Wednesday in a rambling speech to the U.N. General Assembly, failed to arrive for the start of the meeting.

Brown earlier called for sanctions against Iran for its efforts to develop a nuclear weapon.

On Wednesday, Medvedev signaled that Russia -- which previously has opposed such move -- also could support sanctions against Iran.

"Russia's position is clear. Sanctions rarely lead to productive results, but in some cases sanctions are inevitable," Medvedev said in a joint appearance with Obama after they met in New York.

The statement bolsters U.S.-led efforts for increased international pressure on Iran to adhere to non-proliferation agreements in pursuing the development of nuclear energy.

Iran claims its nuclear program is intended for peaceful purposes, but the international community accuses it of continuing to try to develop nuclear weapons capability.

The United States and Russia previously have disagreed over Iran, and over possible steps the Security Council may take -- including imposing sanctions -- to push Tehran to comply with U.N. demands concerning its nuclear program.

Last week, Obama announced that the United States was dropping plans to base a missile defense shield system in Poland and the Czech Republic, a proposal that had rankled Moscow. He has denied the change was directly linked to Russia's position regarding sanctions on Iran, but said any Russian shift in that direction would be a bonus.

na_so , please read thru the others post, the reason for the break up has nothing to do if there are bad people. but what would happen to nigeria if there is a civil war. And i would assume you are either from akwa ibom or cross river since you are concern about thier issue.

Anatan oilfield is in akwa ibom state and not cross river. the longtitude of the oilfield is 8. 20 and you can see from this picture. 8.20 fall into akwa ibom, and not cross river.
