It's in fortunate ... Apc has proved to be a Political and Democracy Blunder in the History of Our Country... PDP had their Excess while in power but PDP limited themselves to not Hurting the Citizenry no matter what!! At no time during the PDP reign did we see NBC Threatening radio stations based on the political comments of people... I Remember in back then in Lagos, before I Migrated,Nigerian Info 99.3 came into existence and people were free to air their Griveances against the government with no form of threats ... I remember people like Darlington Cyril Onyeoma Comrade Akpan Mr Sam Peter from Somolu Cy and others calling on air, criticizing the government in power and others supporting.. We enjoyed all these listening... My last visit to Nigeria, I noticed that The radio stations were now being threatened direct and Indirectly.. You hear Callers calling to criticize the government and the Presenter will be like , pls enough and before you try to speak again, you are cut off... I noticed that in virtually every Station in Lagos... Democracy is a Government that allows the People to voice their minds.... If not the manner Nairaland is, Many of us here would have been arrested and some even killed in this Evil of a Party and Government.. It's only for a Season... All these will be Over.. 1 Like |
