See there are some basic natural laws and principles that if obeyed (by anybody) will give the expected results. I'm sure you have heard of the law of cause and effect. This is what the law of sowing and reaping is "obeying". Your giving (either tithes or alms) obeys these laws too if done properly (this will need another long explanation).

So don't be deceived by some "pastors". Most people giving tithes in churches are doing it the wrong way, probably in the wrong place and almost always for the wrong reasons. That’s why it worked selctively because at times the giver gets the steps right. Everything is govern by laws. All these "men of God" know this and they are exploiting it!

ANSWER THIS: 1. why do some pray to stones and woods and they get answered?
2. Why do Muslim, buddist, etc get what dey want when they pray? What's answering all these prayers?!

Stop deceiving urself, tithers n none thithers are making money day in day out.

Bill gates n mark zuckerberg aren't Christians, and they are richer than most people on earth.

Atheists, Buddhists, Deists, Christians, Muslims, strange white garment members, Eckankar, Animists, Panatheists etc are all wealthy on earth n God blesses them all.

Paying tithe does not translate to blessings from God.

It's funny how you guys quote Old testament only when you wanna suit your narrative but when nasty verses are quoted then you shout on top of your lungs that it's old testament

My broda, you still dont get it... its not about your choice to pay tithe..but about deliberate twisting the WORD by our pastor for so many years now...The issue of weather you have a choice to pay tithe or not to pay NEVER arise throughout the days of our Lord Jesus and the early apostles...

Why are you shouting now? Na so e dey pain you? Are you one of those people who tithe so as to use it to make double from God like MMM?

If you weren't promised "x10," will you tithe? If yes, why are you not laying clothes, foodstuffs and other items by your gates every month for those in need as instructed in Numbers 14? Oh it doesn't have enticing promised or threat attached abi?
