I think you can change to chinese cos your jamb combo didn't match some course under Art.
I think my UTME combination is the acceptable combination for Art/Law candidates. Are you insinuating that Govt,CRK,Lit-in-English and English are wrong subject choice for admission into Faculty of Arts? Please kindly educate me. If I fail to gain admission this year, I will take another shot at it next year. So I don't want to fall into the same pit.

In school,u'll pay 1k at Eco Bank and download the COC form online.
Hello mister, which of the courses made available by the school to those who want to change their course will you advise a candidate who had 54.25 and did English, Lit-in-English, CRK and Government in UTME to switch to? By the way, I chose LAW.

you can change to available courses that will be given for coc.
When will the form be made available? And how much does it cost?

I had an aggregate score of 54.25 and I chose LAW. Since LAW is now beyond reach can I change to Political Science? I didn't meet the merit mark for Political Science but fell in line with the catchment score for Ogun-State which is 52.88. If this is not possible, kindly suggest what step I should take.

unilag just started new semester this month or so, the still have 3 months of lectures after which exams is another half month if not full month, then till December or January before you actually begin lectures if its not even February, just calm down and enjoy the moments.
Does this mean an applicant who is just about writing GCE can still meet up with the admission schedule? I mean can the result of that exam be used for admission? I was told it would be too late.

Nice , yu part of em' catchment areas
I am, but 61 was the cutoff mark for my state last year. So it is quite Herculean.

Is there no statistical break down of the result? UNILAG should avail us of information on candidates' performance and other sundry issues.

they got 61 n 60 respectively ... law was 63 last year. .. they beat the cutoff for political science. .. so they just saw their name in merit list... no they didn't do any change of course
Thanks. I got 54.75 though. No one knows how the cutoff marks will look this year. I pray God grants me the luck akin to theirs.

2 of my friends got merit admission there last year , they didn't meet d cutoff for Law
Pardon my inquisitiveness, how did they go about it? Did they obtain a change of course form or just found their names on the list? I really need to know because the fear of not being admitted is ripping me apart!

The only course unilag can give out is Chemistry nothing like industrial chemistry in unilag. But for the rest you mentioned, never. Those courses are competitive and already have enough candidates at hand.
Please, how competitive is Political Science? Can a candidate who doesn't meet the cutoff mark for LAW find himself there? Thanks.

I do not think courses like Philosophy, History, Rel and even Pol Science, Sociology nd so on will require Lit in English. Find out if dere are spaces in those courses and he could obtain COC form wen d time comes
All right. Thanks for the pieces of valuable information.

Your friend could simply change his course to another course dat does not require Lit in English. He can't be robbed of admission simply cos he doesn't av a credit pass in Lit.
Thanks. I guess a course like Political Science does not require Lit-In-English? If it doesn't, my fear is the number of applicants who made it their first choice.

If the result will be out before screening which should be around sept./Oct. which u don't think it will be ready then,he can use it.On the plain side,he can't .
Well, the exam starts in September and the result should be out in November. WAEC seems to have robbed my friend of admission. How awful!

I think you should just wait for cut off though the aggregate is low.If cut off didn't favour you, then you can change course.
Thanks for your response. A friend of mine made a good score but he had a D7 in Literature-In-English in the just released WASSCE. Can he still sit for GCE and the can result meet up? He chose English.

Statistics for law/art
I am an aspirant for Law but I performed woefully in the exam. I had 262 in UTME and 17 in post-UTME. This leaves me with an aggregate of 54.75. What is your candid assessment of the situation?

Can someone make an honest assessment of Law/Arts candidates performance? I had 262 in UTME and 17 in post-UTME. This leaves me with an aggregate score of 54.25. I am yet to see any score from Law/Arts candidates. Does this mean that our performance was awful?

PoliticsRe: Conduct Bureau Declines Csos’ Application To Make Buhari’s Assets Public by beejayodus(m): 6:45am On Jun 20, 2015
Buhari should be faithful to his promise and make his assets public.Although he has fulfilled the constitutional demand by submitting his assets forms to the CCB,the symbolism of such gesture will set the tone for those who will work with him and win him public support. His kinsman,Ya'adua, toed this line and that tilted public opinion in his favour.Nigerians do not need to go flat on their faces before politicians do what is right.
PoliticsRe: Be Patient, Buhari Tells Nigerians by beejayodus(m): 6:17am On Jun 20, 2015
PMB must realize that the weight of expectations on his government is enormous. No one is lame to think that the country will turn into a paradise in two weeks;but we want actions that will sign post what is to come.A day that will end well can be told from its morning. We must start to see the baby steps that show that the country is about to walk.

APC should face up to the reality of what has happened. It doesn't serve the party's interest trying to circumvent a constitutional process.
