Thanks David. You see, from your story you never slept with her. My friend did sleep several times with this one in question, to my knowledge. Besides, i have friends who cannot have forgotten that relationship. This is where my problem lies though this doesnt bother her in the least. More opinions please!! |
Thanks all. I'm sincere with the whole thing but my worry is hinted at by Thisdumebi when he says that my peers might think me less a man than most of us for marrying someone whom i knew thru someone else. Ordinarily, i'm comfortable with the whole thing.I want more comments. Thanks everyone.I appreciate everything. |
When i was in university, a friend of mine was going out with a girl. The relationship lasted for one session. But while it did, i was always aware of "events".When the relationship ended to the girl's dissatisfaction, she relied on me for support. And as the years passed we became closer friends. My friend is now married and we don't call each other again but that is not to say that we can't meet in the future. The problem now is that his ex and i are seeing each other and are even talking about marriage! Though she's my idea of a woman, my mind tells me that i'm not man enough to marry someone whose ex was or is my friend. I don't know what to do. It'll break her heart to lose me. Please tell me what you think without much disapprobation. |
Take it easy!! |
Such stuff life's made of! ![]() |
The fun is free!!Welcome!! |
I'm marvelled! I dont have any problem with anyone or any remarks but am stunned by the progress he has made which is manifest in the posts here. The place of experience in human life is arbitrary. We all grope in the dark that's why we are not agreed on the way to salvation. Some celebrate Christmas others dont;some mark easter others dont;some use candle for prayers others dont;some use incense others dont;some wear shoes to service others dont; some use mat in their place of worship others use benches;some worship in magnificent buildings others make do with abondoned homesteads;some kill to remain faithful others tolerate for the same reason etc.Where, i ask, is the way to heaven? Before u answer do u know an Existentialist? Brothers and sisters, follow your mind in all you do.If the Bible shows you the bad and the good ways of life read it always;if it's the Quaran read it unceasingly. In truth,i'm sick of these multiplicities.Worship places spring like mushroom everywhere. I dont know whether T B Joshua is real or fake, those who believe in him can tell.If u dont believe in him, look elsewhere without casting aspersion. We dont know who makes it in the end. However,i'm enamoured by the strong presence that The Synagogue has maintained through the years and if that doesnt count, well, !Good luck, everyone! |
I check in now and again to see how well am being received. Thanks all.I can descry some happy moments here. Thanks Free thanks Beyunce thanks kokoletz thanks iice.I hope to see u again!! |
The conflicting ideas here might bring the bridge to its knees i fear. But let's dont worry until we wake one morning to find that we have lost the bridge to time and corruption. No connotations intended.Good luck Nigeria!! ![]() |
Do men really run away from educated women? I believe that relationships have a way of balancing things out. An unschooled young man will rearly go for an educated young lady and vice versa. The unwritten laws of bonding will ultimately come to play! |
Thanks for being the first to welcome me to the land.I'll love u as long as the land lasts, geebabe. Cognitive dissonance? "Cognitive dissonance is a psychological phenomenon which refers to the discomfort felt at a discrepancy between what you already know or believe, and new information or interpretation." |
Am so sorry! 'Hello Everyone' was what i intended! |
This is my debut! I've heard much about this place of people and ideas so much so that i cant resist the urge to be a member. As i join today,i only hope that the experience will not result in cognitive dissonance. |
