6 Things To Know About TSTV Before Buying

Here are first hand info on the 6 things to know about TSTV that is lauching today

1. The N5000 for TSTV initial purchase includes a decoder, a dish and a remote control but excludes any installation service charge.

2. TSTV Pay AS You Go pause service i.e. the ability to pause your subscription when not in use would be available to those that would go for the maximum subscription which is the monthly N3,000 package and you would only be able to pause subscription not more than 7 days, thereby allowing you 37 days at most for your monthly subscription. So don’t expect to use your 1 month subscription from January to December in the name of pausing or expect to user 1 day N200 subscription for 1 month.

3. The first time you buy the decoder is the only time you would be able to enjoy up to 20GB of data as bonus, for subsequent full monthly subscription comes with 10GB of data and not 20GB as some of you might be thinking.

4. TSTV has incorporated its subscription service payments into Quickteller the popular E-payment service in the country and just like DSTV, you would also be able to easily pay for your TSTV subscriptions through Quickteller.

5. You would be able to buy extra 1GB data or above from TSTV at the cost of N300 for 1GB

6. TSTV data allocation has nothing to do with watching of TVST channels but just a separate and additional offer to the entire TSTV concept or better still what you commonly regard as Value Added Service (VAS)

TSTV operate on a different platform, multichoice only have rights over satelitte channel not telecom broadcast, the technology that will be used by Tstv according to some is hbb, which hybrid or fusion of satelitte and telcom to view television, I believe channels like bein sports that will broadcast the football leagues will be on the telecom site as such dstv has no right over them.

DSTV Versus TSTV
No doubt, DSTV has served Nigerians for a very long period of time but here is the time to think twice. DSTV, according to many customers has ripped off people in many ways but TSTV is a cheaper alternative that also offers a whole lot of channels.
DSTV shows live English Premier League matches same as TSTV. You can so enjoy Live La Liga and Champions League matches on TSTV.
Now the big deal, you can pause your subscription and you can connect your laptop and phones to the wifi and enjoy 20GB data to browse and download your favorite files with TSTV Decoder.
It's very affordable and the subscription price starts as low as N200. Chai! I wish they maintain all these mouthwatering promises. If they do, then it's a bad business to MultiChoice and other network providers in Nigeria as many people will now rely on the wifi instead of the usual monthly subscription from MTN, Glo, Airtel, 9Mobile etc.

TSTV stands for "Telcom Satelite TV", it's a Pay-As-You-Consume TV provider in Nigeria, operated by ABS and Telcom Satellites TV. TStv is a DTH pay TV that offers a rich blend of local and international channels and packages for your Entertainment, News, Sports, Kids, Health etc and will be distributed on the ABS 3A Africa beam, located at 3 degrees west.
The technology is the HBB TV tech, HBB is a combination of satellite and internet service for TV service, TSTv will run on 4.5g network every subscriber will get 20gig of data for 3k monthly, the data can also be used for video calls and wifi.

A new DTH TV platform is coming to the Nigerian broadcasting marketplace, and this new platform is the brainchild of Mr Bright Echefu and his Telecom Satellites TV (TSTV) outfit.

Telecom Satellites TV (TSTV) has reportedly entered into a technical agreement with ABS (a Satellite services company) to provide it with transponders that will enable the cost-effective delivery of DTH broadcast services to the Nigerian market.

Reports from ABS indicated that the new service would be on the ABS 3A Africa beam (3 degrees west). The broadcast service, it is said, would have between 100-150 TV channels.

Mr Bright Echefu, CEO of TSTV expressed his delight at being able to provide ‘premium video and broadcast service to Nigerians at prices they can afford’. He thanked ABS for their support.

ABS co-founder and CEO, Mr Thomas Choi hailed the new service as a real entry point for his organisation to play in the digital broadcasting landscape of Nigeria.

ABS is a new Satellite company owned by Primera funds.

For now they are only in Lagos, but i hear they will also function in Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan and other major cities in Nigeria.

Another cool feature is that TSTV set-up-box can also store content and has the ability to transmit wifi signals to all wifi enabled devices.

OK o, still waiting for the outcome anyway.

dis otapiapia lady don enta one chance. imagine on public holiday fa naija don finished you be dat

rili you are dried already

Broh, Wat are you expecting from a lady tied down for 4 year? And now that there is a light at the end of the tunnel you still expect her to be the same person? No brother, she's a changed person right now because she's the happiest person now. My advice is that you do anything to change that person from who she is or else she might be even scarier than you thought. So just calm down and go with the flow.

Unknown to many, the Nigerian flag has been flying all-over Europe as the country’s sole athlete in Motor Sport continues to make the podium finish.

Shahin Nouri, aka Fineboy Racing, is a Switzerland born motor racer who opted to represent Nigeria in the relatively expensive sport

At the just concluded European championships in Valencia, the 39-year-old made remarkable come-from-behind to dust five other top challengers ahead of him to win the three-day tournament and also become the vice world champion of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo.

This was the first time Nigeria was ever mentioned in a car racing event as he made sure it was constantly mentioned by coming back home with multiple wins and cups.

Shahin moved to Nigeria to join his wife who made him love the country and made it his home.

“For me, Nigeria is one of the most lovely places around the world. It was not difficult for me at all in choosing the country to represent. Most thanks to my wife who brought me to the country and sincerely I have never regretted it,”

Nigerian flag flown across different European countries and on the podium of some of the best racetracks in the world but has assured that he is currently main efforts to establish a racing academy in Nigeria.
“It’s one of my priorities,” he continued. “We are planning on establishing an academy in Lagos or possibly Abuja. I see there are lots of talents in this country and we could get top class motor racers who could compete with the likes of Nico Roseberg.
