Saddamochieng00: You are f*ckin with the wrong nigga boy. Saddam is not to be intimated by some poor kid whose mama I used to f*ck in my college days. That ashawo money from me used to feed your poor ass and you dare insult me. This is Saddam you're dealing with nigga so you better get on your knees and kiss my feet idiot.
rvp2018: We are the only country in SSA to have successfully beaten South Africa companies through competition. Elsewhere they go and enact their little colonies and rule. Look like you'v been sinking 1.5B dollars annually in Kenya with little to show for returns.
Official statistics from the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) shows that companies in that country have been investing an average of $1.4 billion a year in Africa since 1991 surpassing UK, US and France. However, compared good run in Africa, it is not so in Kenya.
The reasons they have failed in Kenya is the fact that they take a domineering outlook in managing their outfits, which does not go well with Kenyans. The problem comes when South Africans corporate chiefs fails to appreciate that unlike the less sophisticated African markets, a "one-size-fits-all" approach cannot work in Kenya. Kenyan businesses are very developed in all systems, procedures and processes than those in markets South Africans have conquered.
Stanbic Bank, the only South African corporate which managed to penetrate the Kenyan market. Its Kenya country manager said, "sounds a bit like the way one hears some people describe Kenyans in Tanzania or Americans in Europe. My take is there are different communication style- e.g South Africans or Kenyans or Americans can be regarded in some cycles as 'too direct' or 'aggressive' in their work ethic and style. "
rdokoye: Nothing I wrote exemplified bigotry or any of those other negative words you want to proscribe to me. I'm Igbo, and I have a healthy sense of self. All groups feel their group is better than others. That's normal and natural.
I didn't call you any names and you know that. I believe the Yoruba's live in a much much more developed region by Nigeriam standards and i stand by it.
rdokoye: Yorubaland is my land. You can call Igboland your land, it doesn't bother me in the slightest. For as long as we're one country, I and all other Nigerians are entitled to every part of it, irrespective of our ethnic origin. If you don't like the idea of Nigeria, then start your own secessionist movement. But don't be a hypocrite. I see many people on here criticizing IPOB, while at the same time promoting segregation - the scientific term for that line of thinking is cognitive dissonance.
The reason many of us criticize IPOB is because they blame every of their failure on us.
Also their leader is always quick to attack Yoruba's and its leaders for no apparent reason. We're not just sitting ducks so we give him the reply he deserves. Also IPOB is probably the most retàrded secessionist movement in the world. They lack the tact to actualize their dreams.
rdokoye: As long as I remain a Nigerian, Yorubaland is my land. I have as much right to be here as anyone else. I frequent all Nigerian city threads, irrespective of their location.
You should kindly intimate and educate your people on integration and accommodation.
You know no Yoruba man or woman can call the south east his/her land.
Your people hate it more than their hate for the truth.
rdokoye: Judge me on my words and not the words of others. Igbo states have tons of Yoruba people in them. In Anambra and Imo state, you'll find several Yoruba people in office.
Just a percentage of Yoruba's going with 50 million as the population would amount to 500,000 yourba's. I'm pretty sure not up to 500k Yoruba's are in the South East. My people don't populate where they are not welcome. Many Yoruba white collar workers are always transferred to the east to oversee various tasks. That doesn't translate to migration. They only work there for a few years and are transferred again.
rdokoye: Nope, just stating a fact. Oyo needs serious redevelopment
Oyo is in need of development just like the rest of Nigeria is plagued with a serious infrastructural deficit. But that doesn't change the fact that Oyo state packs more economic punch than most of the south east states.
rdokoye: Ogun is not so bad, though I still have an issue with the lack of political will to slum clearance. What are they afraid of, not getting votes?
You're indirectly throwing cheap shots at ogun but bro I'll gladly take you on. Are you saying the bulk of ogun state votes come from slums?
Saddamochieng00: A black man can't be racist and this is not up for arguments so please...STFU
I see you're subtly evading an argument.
I'll save you the stress.
But just one last thing: don't go about thinking blacks can't be racist cos that's one of the most retàrded B.S. the world over. If you followed the BLM train on Twitter you'd have seen a lot of black on white racist tweets. Don't live in ignorance.
LukasPodolski: This same Ogun state ranks better than all Igbo states in all aspects.
I was in Abuja a while ago, I saw ghettos, I saw places that shouldn't be in a capital city.
The almighty Lagos State house one of the biggest slums in the world.
Capetown is the most Developed city in the whole of Africa and almost 1 million are living in the slum (in the most Developed city in Africa) actually the second biggest slum in the world.
same with Nairobi, Kenya which house the biggest slum (fact)
Are you saying your Cities in igboland are more Developed than Capetown, Nairobi, Lagos, Johannesburg?
because the way you guys rant online, it seems everywhere in igboland looks like New York times square.
can any of your states beat Ogun in development?
Bro if I talk say I no weak for Igbo people matter na lie I dey lie.
These days on nairaland you can bet a fortune igbos would flood any Yoruba related thread.
rdokoye: I never derailed the thread, in fact, I tried to help the thread, by showing video footage of the state. Some good videos at that. So let's stick with Abeokuta.
I don't mind anyone posting videos but don't come here with any subtle antagonistic vibe and then claim to be indifferent. I never said you derailed the thread...I concisely told you the real detailers...but you're ignoring that and then claiming the op derailed the thread as if he was spoiling for an image war or something.
Your people have a problem - they are very insecure which explains why they over hype their (with occasional lies) own and try to downplay to the barest minimum anything not associated to them. THAT'S INSECURITY IN FULL GLARE.
rdokoye: As I said before, Ogun is better than Oyo State.
I see you're spoiling for an Oyo comparison. Waiting to roast Oyo right?
rdokoye: Forget about Enugu. Igbo people are not interested in Yorubaland - trust me on that.
And I'm sure you know 99% of Yoruba's haven't stepped foot in the east.
Your people care more of anything Yoruba than their own affairs sef.
rdokoye: I'm not a "tribalist" like you people. Fortunately for me, I was born in England, so I wasn't imparted with any of the backwardness the average Nigerian was. I showed drone video footage of abeokuta, created by natives (Yoruba) of the land. It's a common tourist destination in Nigeria. So you don't need to show oscure pictures of the place.
whether you were born in Pluto is not the issue. you came here (just like your other brothers) to dispute the location of the images.
some were even blatantly telling him to prove they were actually abeokuta images.
rdokoye: That other guy, is the one who started derailing the threat, by showing Google earth pictures, of poor communities in Enugu State - what does that have to do with the beauty of Abeokuta?
I'm pretty sure you have little idea of what 'derailing' means.
you chose to ignore the first set of people mocking the op and his pictures and also bringing in ENUGU INTO THE DISCOURSE claiming it was miles ahead of abeokuta.
rdokoye: My point is, EVERYWHERE in AFRICA, has poor areas, Igboland is no exception. The real issue here, is the wealthier communities, relative to the poorer areas. Show us the beauty of your land, and stop fixating on our land. Enugu is developing, slum clearance, redevelopments are regular occurrences in our land. Show us the same in YOUR LAND.
what the hell do you people want gàngàn??
somebody was jejely posting abeokuta images and you guys came with your usual bad blood and and now you're telling him to stop replying you ?
did you just deduce this from he back of your brain?
how are black people immune to racist tendencies?
I bet there are more black racists in Africa than anywhere else.
TayserMahrii: It may come as a shock to you but Kenyans never started it. You wouldn't know because you just jumped right in where you found the convo. Some random dude from Ghana threw in a jibe at our president regarding the UNSC matter. I told him the joke is on him because Kenya had actually won the seat that day.
everything just looked weird...the whole back and forth.
TayserMahrii: Now here you are right before your moniker expires trying to create a mountain out if it.
I wasn't making a mountain out of nothing and no my moniker won't expire anytime soon.
TayserMahrii: What can we do except pity you my friend. That aside, I have serious qualms about the UNSC too. That still doesn't change the fact that Kenya took the seat. It's just another fact.
the UNSC is a fúcked up sub group. nothing for africans at all.
