gallivant: Took your time wih your reply. Hoping I would have logged off? Stop giving yourself this vague sense of importance. It's weird bro. What the hell do I need to stall for? I've got a life man! And people who got a life do stuff that requires them exiting nairaland for sometime. |

gallivant: Or East Africa for that matter.
National airlines. East Africa: KQ, Ethiopian, Rwandair, Air Tanzania, Uganda Airways.
ECOWAS: Zero airlines. lol..thata because you guys have This weird competition going on.... always trying to match achievements at whatever cost...even if it makes no sense and continually hugs losses. that's why Kenyan airways have made their seventh straight consecutive loss. https://www.bloombergquint.com/business/kenya-airways-sees-travel-recovering-in-a-year-as-losses-mountand the government is building high rises in Tanzania. futile competition if you ask me. |

TayserMahrii: Well, take some comments with a pinch of salt. Those kind of statements are common here. Just banter. I believe VI (if it's solely what I've been seeing here) can be compared to areas like Westlands or Kilimani, entertainment districts. With the only difference being the emphasis on skyscrapers in Kenya and a touch of finesse. VI is kinda old, it might actually be a mismatch. But you get the point Lol bro do you mistake this for Victoria Island? VI isn't an 'old' district in any way oo.

TayserMahrii: Does that mean every country should host a soccer event to be relevant? Even an under 15's socceroo? Other sports take priority in other countries. We couldn't host chan because we don't want to be whipped around on home soil but we will host an athletics event any time even without notice so that we enjoy whipping others around too. It doesn't translate to that but hosting a soccer world cup comes with more prestige and international clout. Going by your argument then it's completely not out of line to say Nigeria would prefer hosting a soccer tournament a 1000x over because we're good like that. Besides.. We entered the Nigeria 2009 world cup as the world champions and also got to the final of the same world cup we hosted. So it was a win for us. |

TayserMahrii: I'm sure you could. How does politricks come into play? Thought it was the same finance ISH like the rest of us. Is it like Kenya where the govt will say they can't afford a few billions to host afcon but the same govt can afford triple that amount instantaneously if an election is needed ? Yeah the finance line is 'high up there' on the scale of Bleep ups.... That election bs is a constant. But the Nigerian problem stems from tribal differences or what they'd call federal character. I'll give an analogy. Let's say Nairobi for example has all the facilities to host the Rugby World Cup... Stadiums and all...and Nairobi would do an excellent job hosting it... Let me add that Nairobi is the native land of Kikuyu's. All of a sudden other states all over Kenya begin to cry foul claiming they've sidelined by the Kikuyu's... So all the Masai's and other tribes demand hosting venues in their states too.. But the whole country knows the others don't have the capacity to host stuff. It then becomes political cos politicians don't want to lose Masai votes so they begin haphazard patch works to make it possible. So they'd sacrifice hosting a perfect w/c in Nairobi cos only Kikuyu's would benefit and fück themselves over internationally to appease the Masais cos it screams of 'federal character' . That's the situation. |

TayserMahrii: You didn't mention you wanted only one specific area of Eastleigh. Give it a name I'll search for it. You are attempting to drive a point that I don't get. As I told you, Eastleigh is known for business and poor infrastructure. Everyone knows that and even those without eyesight have seen it. Your home boy baliv24 said eastleigh is better than Victoria Island... Pretty sure Your other Masai kings have too... Can't just cite or quote them now. That's one of the general Kenyan consensus here...or that's what we're made to believe. So if there isn't any proof... We might as well throw it entirely out the window. |

TayserMahrii: That's all. You are bragging of the same thing we are bragging about. Hosting youth events. We participate in many youth events on a global scale. I honestly wish I had the energy to list them. You forgot that football isn't the only sport. Well you also forgot football is the BIGGEST SPORT. |

TayserMahrii: Here. I went the extra mile to find 3-day old videos.
Pretty cool But those images are just 2018 recent. Besides the video doesn't show the exact place I cited. Do better bro...i posted the exact Images of the place you guys uploaded. Be brave soldier! TayserMahrii: The area just happened to have insane cases of the virus. Apparently one Imam went about preaching house to house then died of the virus and his followers began to turn up positive. We aint racists This screams of fanatism head over heels. Unlucky for Nigerians... We got millions of them up north. |

TayserMahrii: How many ppl watch it? The infrastructure required to host it isn't comparable to what is needed to host the real WC. I didn't even know there was such an event happening. The infrastructure is less and lesser people attend the u17 w/c...but it's still A WORLD CUP WITH ALMOST ALL THE GAINS OF THE BIGGER W/C ON A SMALLER SCALE..... das all. I know Kenya doesn't participate in youth tournaments so it's Normal for you no to have known what was on the news in all the countries of the world. |

Mkenya2019: - heck even Easleigh. You know you're a joke for typing this right? Let's just gloss over this and pretend it was a typo right?.... OK good boy. Mkenya2019: That victoria island is very underwhelming - Kilimani alone would beat it Nigga isn't this all there is to kilimani? That's your NAIROBI CBD WE'RE SEEING A FEW BLOCKS AWAY FOR FUX SAKES!!!

TayserMahrii: It's still not a world cup atmosphere you experienced a watered down version of a real WC atm. You see that's the thing you seem not to be getting. It's a lower version but the atmosphere was still EXPLOSIVE and fun. Trust me. I still envy South Africa for hosting the world cup. You see you might not understand what I'm saying... Only Nigerians and southies would. It's kinda like an inside thing. |

TayserMahrii: Will check latest Eastleigh images soon. I'd really be expecting them...thats what I like... Back up your claims! TayserMahrii: Btw there has been a lockdown there within the larger Nairobi lockdown. Lockdown within lockdown lol. Basically the folks from eastleigh couldn't exit the limits of Eastleigh into the rest of the city which is also under lockdown from the rest of the country. Why is this? Is it because they are Somalis? Or they cant be trusted health wise. |

TayserMahrii: We're hosting the youths world thing this year You guys organized a continent wide event with zero plans how to get athletes from the airport to the venue. Or rather you thought Africans are used to flying coff...ns some of those guys shit their pants One more thing. World Cup atmospheres are one in a million! You should try it out sometime.... My first and only world cup experience is in Nigeria. Oh my oh my... It was terrific! Most of the names in world football today were in Nigeria. Kenya need to feel that world cup vibe. |

TayserMahrii: They look like Kenyan athletes stranded in Abuja or Lagos. ?? They were stranded in Lagos and all the fück ups were all on us. The federal character system we pretend to follow is one of the banes of our development and it evidently showed it's impracticability on that day. That's all there is to it. Besides the games went well. |

TayserMahrii: You posted outdated images of Eastleigh when the place was messy. Now it's long improved. That doesn't mean it's one of the nicer places in Nairobi. Far from it. Most of you swallowed the Somali koolaid when they told you they live in the best places in Kenya. We don't blame you at all since you take great comfort in such tales. OK bro... I'd really like to believe you but I'd be needing some proof to back it up don't you think? ...here's what will happen, post recent images of the same place or something close to it. At least when all of the Kenyans here (you inclusive of course) posted 20 year old images of Lagos CBD show shanties we countered them with real 2020 images. Impress us. |
