talking about your device getting to zero be fore you charge, I don't think it is really healthy to be charging your phone all the time, I think the battery should be allowed to run down before charging it again.

Run down but not to 0. 20% ia low enough while 80 % is high enough. Read up about it.

If people figure out a way not to pay for these phones, they would gladly do. Not minding how affordable the phones are, people still want to be given as gifts or give away. Even so, they find it hard to do the needful for them to win at give away.

Well, even bigger brands have fake ones. But i think u can identify a fake Tecno phone by checking it out on their website.

firstly, it's not advisable to let your device get to 0 before u charge. Secondly, the battery of the spark 2 is good. And it doesn't take so long to charge

You can't move apps to SD card on phones running on Android 7. You can however format your SD card as internal storage

The battery capacity of the Pourvoir is a major deal breaker

People have been asking this question a lot. The Spark 2 runs on Android 8 (Go version). A sleek device too.

This is different from the Pourvoir 2? Makes sense

Decent battery. 4G LTE. All in all a superb device.

The 1GB RAM own is sleek and the performance is okay too. I haven't seen the 2GB variant yet.

Android Pie was released a little over a week ago and to everyone’s surprise, we had a company that released the update as soon an Google made it publicly available. Essential will go down in history as the only company to update their phone on the first day as Google’s own Pixel range.

Moving on to the rest of us who are still waiting on our smartphone manufacturers to have mercy on us, we have seen some OEMs come out to alert their customers that indeed updates are coming, albeit without an attached date of arrival on them.

Below is a list of smartphones from various OEMs that we should expect to see updates from within weeks to a few months. We shall be continuously updating the list as we get more information.


TECNO

TECNO has also been slow when it comes to software updates. They do try but they have a long way to go. The company has not officially committed themselves to update any of their phones, even the 2018 ones but we should expect the next Phantom to at least launch with Android Pie out of the box and possibly the Camon X will get updated sometime next year.


Samsung

They don’t exactly have a good track record when it comes to software updates, my Galaxy S9 is on Android 8.0 with June’s security patch, to show how dire the situation is, the recently launched Galaxy Note 9 doesn’t even have Android 9 Pie.

Samsung has always treated software as a secondary feature on their phones and this is evidenced through a leaked memo that shows their midrange A-series and entry-level J-series will still be receiving Android Oreo updates as late as March 2019.

So, to be fair, Samsung users across the board should not at all be excited about Android Pie. The soonest the update could be reaching phones is January 2019 for their flagships.


Huawei

Another company that works so hard to compete with Samsung when it comes to ignoring software updates is Huawei. Like their rivals, the company has not issued any timelines regarding Android Pie updates but at least they have mentioned that the new P20 Series will be getting updated as well as the Mate 10 Pro.

There’s no mention of whether the P10 series will at one point get a taste of Pie or even the other Mate 10 series phones but we hope that the upcoming Mate 20 series will launch with Android Pie out of the box.


Nokia

I honestly expected to be seeing HMD Global push Android Pie updates right about now but we have not yet lost hope. We expect to see Nokia 7 Plus’ official update reach users within the month, followed by updates to other 2018 Nokia smartphones, which are all under the Android One program, beginning with the flagships such as the Nokia 8 Sirrocco.

HMD Global also confirmed that last year’s devices will be getting a treatment of Pie, this includes Nokia 3,5,6 and 8. No ETAs were given regarding these updates.

Infinix

Infinix started giving assurances that their devices will receive at least one major Android update, so we’re not really worried but I would not hold my breath on when these said updates will arrive. To give context, the Infinix Note 5, which is under the Android One program is scheduled to receive Android Pie update by March 2019, so the rest of you Infinix users can start counting your Pies after that.

However, users of the Infinix Hot 6, Hot 6 Pro and Smart 2 should expect to get Android Pie. Like Huawei’s case, we hope the upcoming flagship, Zero 6 will come with Android Pie out of the box and not just a notch. We are not sure which software the yet to be launched but heavily leaked Infinix Hot S3X comes with.

OPPO

Aside from the OPPO R15 Pro which was under the Android P Beta program, we’re really not sure which OPPO phones will be getting updated to Android Pie but maybe just maybe, the upcoming OPPO F9 will have Android Pie out of the box – don’t stone me if it doesn’t.

OnePlus

OnePlus already confirmed that the OnePlus 6 (which was part of the Beta program) will be getting Android Pie official update pretty soon. The company also confirmed that OnePlus 5/5T and 3/3T will be updated to Android Pie. When? Me sijui!
