Hmmm.....there is an unusually long delay now. I also used the keep my passport service and I waited 3 weeks after the application concluded mail was received before I was requested to submit my passport for the visa. I only picked up my visa last Thursday.

I do hope yours will not take as long...

i went to TLS Lagos V.I. but they simply said "its not in our hands, its completely on UKVI". once UKVI send any information they will immediately pass on to me.
i have opted for "Keep My Passport" service, they have not even asked me to submit the passport till now.
TLS said "once UKVI will advise them to collect passport from me, they will send e-mail to submit passport".
please let me know if any one have experience on this service "Keep My Passport". i have already received concluded email on 29th July.

I got the passport on Thursday. I will make the trip later in the year when I can squeeze out some time.

Those guys now have a lot of backlogs, please disregard the 48hours wait time. I waited for 3 weeks after receiving the "Application Concluded" email while some are still waiting...

None yet o... I'm sincerely tired of this endless wait. I had to push my flight date by 2 weeks and the change fee wasn't nice at all.

When did you get the letter?

In a normal situation, the process of affixing stamp on the passport for the KMP service is typically like a week. I know someone who used the service earlier and it took just a week. I also enquired when I was at TLS for submission. Though, the lady I spoke with was non-committal, she said a week is a reasonable time to expect the passport back. But as we all know, these are abnormal times. No one is sure of anything.

I was there on Friday. They didn't accept the passport. They said there has been no communication from UKVI
to collect and send down the passport, and we should wait for their mail.

They also said to contact UKVI and complain about the long delay if it is a concern

I told a friend about this delay and he advised that I go to TLS with my passport. Unfortunately, I'm out of the country but will be back next week. Please, try and go to their office on Monday.

I am in the same situation. Used the 'keep my passport' option, I got a mail from UKVI on the 16th July that my application is concluded. No pick up mail from TLS yet.

Please do you have an idea of how they manage visa for 'keep my passport' service? Are they still going to mail the passport back to the UK to paste the visa or is it pasted on the passport here in Nigeria?

Hello consulars,

I applied for B1/B2 renewal with my family via Dropbox in March. After 7 week, my passport was returned with the instructions to schedule a follow-up interview under 221G category. Earliest available date was in September which I booked.

I see now that others who submitted their application much later are getting June dates for follow up interview. Is it possible to help expedite these follow up interview appointment dates please?

This will bring some measure of relief to me and many others in the same or similar situations.
