RomanceRe: The Origin Of Wedding Rings? by Beline(f): 10:00am On Mar 30, 2007
Orikinla:
Wedding with rings are not biblical.

We don't wed with rings in our R.C.C.G parish.

Rings are just tokens to me.

Exchanging precious copies of the Holy Bible serve a better purpose.
I attended many wedding in RCCG in different parish and all the couples used ring, I think what you are trying to said is that the use of ring is not compulsory which is applicable to many churches.

We should stop criticizing some ideas base on the fact that they are not written in the Bible

@topic
The use of ring is a physical symbol that reminds you that you are in convenant with somebody and  to others that you belong to someone lol

CultureRe: Do We Still Respect Our Culture? by Beline(f): 1:31pm On Mar 19, 2007
kneeling down or prostrating to me doesn't show any respect but pretense and keeping virginity for a dear hubby doesn't guaranty faithfulness and happy home.

i think the only thing that make our tradition and culture to be fading is nothing but the fact that they were destructive not constructive.

I know quite well Ayenfe that you will not support the tradition that demand the wife to drink the water used in bathing her late hubby to prove her innocence in the death of her dear hubby, so what tradition or culture are we talking about?

The good ones are still maintain, for instance OUR DRESSING CODE even in ASO ROCK. So keep to the constructive ones for a better Nigeria
PoliticsRe: Your Advice For The Next President Of Nigeria? by Beline(f): 11:44am On Mar 15, 2007
He should give us uninterrupted electricity which will encourage investors to come into the country and on the other hand encourage Small Business Enterprise (imagine when your profit will be use in buying diesel or fuel, that is very sad).

He should stop the importation of what we have and the exportation of what we don't have for the betterment of this country.

For hospital, to me I HAVE HERBS.
PoliticsRe: Death Penalty For Exam Malpractices In Nigeria? - Satire by Beline(f): 2:00pm On Mar 14, 2007
If a student that cheat in exam should be condemned to death, i wonder what will be the penalty for those that false their certificate. Don't forget that sometime ago, it is a minister or a senator was got with fake result and was sentence to 1yr imprisonment with a fine option of N500 which he paid the fine and few months latter he was given presidential pardon.

So, Seun don't bring up this idea because it's only the poor that it will binds

Seun:
I'm yet to direct my first movie, but I'm in need of good writers. I'm yet to come accross a great script, except maybe one horror script. I've come accross 2 or 3 good novelists, but they don't really know about screenwriting.
Seun how do u need them, their scripts first or to c face to face and discuss?

Don't give up yet, it is one of those things you have to experience on your way up.
Like Jay-Z said, "when you first come in the game, they try to play you". However, I would suggest you stop releasing your manuscripts until you are certain of the personality you are dealing with.
@Kelvin, thanks for your advice
PoliticsAre Nigerian Truly One? by Beline(op): 11:30am On Mar 09, 2007

TV/MoviesIs There Any Director Of Movie In The House? I Have A Script Fully Screenplay by Beline(op): 10:33am On Mar 09, 2007
I am a script writer, i have written many scripts and screenplay them but experience thought me not to release anymore copy until I finally find a Director who will protect my interest.

About four people have seen my work and each of them will exclaim at the first instant my dear you're talented, one even said you are not only a writer but a director, you know what? after they promise to go home with it in order to show it to their director they will not contact me again and if i call, the response will be I DON'T HAVE TIME OR DO YOU WANT ME TO RETURN YOUR COPY?

Imagine one came to me and said YOU WERE WRITING ONE PLAY WHEN YOU GAVE ME A COPY OF THE OTHER ONE CAN I HAVE A COPY OF IT?

I don't know if for real all of them at different point don't have time or they are working with my work behind me.

I have a lot of written and screenplay work with me now but i can't keep releasing them until I meet the right person.

boy

speaking from experience you have to leave both of them for good, no fight, no shouting

though it hard to bear but i tell you by ignoring them you leave them to be judge by their consience and as a friend i advice you keep a distance from them cos they don't worth to be called friends

i decided not to have friends again since the incident cos i won't be able to bear it again if it do happen
