I got my application approved yesterday!! Thank God!
I don't think there's anyone who has read all the post here as much as I have (I have been a ghost follower).. I started from the beginning
I actually posted my timeline yesterday but it was blocked. I applied on the 23rd of December. Both my mother and I applied for study permits together. She was approved about 3 week ago.

Happily thankful to God and everyone who helped in one way or the other. To everyone who is applying or waiting, your approval is on the way. And to everyone who was delayed, remember God protects his own and everything happens for a reason. School started for me in January but I had to defer it. Unfortunately, my mom and I were told to reapply for our different admissions. That's double payment. We thank God for everything. I just sent my passport and it has been delivered to vfs. Funny enough, we had booked a flight for Sunday. God will make it possible for me to get my passport back before then (Amennn ).

Thank you all once again. Don't forget to pray for others too. It goes a long way!

It has been almost 4 days since the principal applicant's approval. They're planning on buying tickets already. Should they send reminder emails to cic about the dependant's application or still wait a bit? I was expecting both to come at the same time or even if, a day after

Hello everyone,I applied for study permit since 20th Nov.'17 did medicals 21st Dec.'17.However,i haven't gotten a response from CIC since then,i sent a case specific enquiry around February'18,still no response.I am thinking of writing CIC via mail.Because i missed 1st resumption date in January,2nd rsumption date is due by 8th May,do you suggest i should write them or just keep waiting.

Same here. I submitted online on the 23rd of December with upfront medicals. I have written to cic many times and my resumption date is May 8th too. Still no response.

though am yet to know the reason of it, because d reason was not stated on their website. i applied march 13th and am supposed to resume by fall.

hav started working on ordering my gcm note,sum1 ova der is helping me wit dat.
