Ofunaofu:Oga as at today $1 is equal to 1400 Korean Won ( south Korea oh ) so you are telling me by your logic that the Korea currency is useless right cos its not 1 Won to 1 dollar , a lot of yu really lack basic knowledge of economics and devaluation and how it's can end up boosting productivity in a nation , instead of you to ask for greater accountability from the local government and state governors you are unhappy because FG shared largest allocations. SMH |
AngelGabbyShara:Princess Adetoun Agboola , my friend , GREATEST UITE! Recte sapere fons 😁😁😁😁 |
ufotunang:Oga , if you buy land from government does the governor come to tell you what to do with your land or property?, is obvious a lot of Nigerians are ignorant about what property development means , government is not in a position to tell you what to do with your acres of land, if you decide you want to convert your acres into an estate and then sell properties within the estate at 2 billion then if you are not greedy or lackl the fear of God you will do the needful and provide commensurate amenities that meet up to the value of the price you are asking for your estate, I already gave you an example of estate that was properly developed and sold in billions - VGC , if you want more within same lagos check eko Atlantic, northern foreshore estate and even chevron down the road from ikate. You cant buy land from government for a price then sell to individuals at 2 billion and turn around to blame government for not providing your estate with amenities after collecting huge sums from customers. |
franchasng:Is it government that owns the estates ? A private developer developed VGC when it was a swamp and did a good job , instead of the content creator to ask the developers who sell 2b property to do the needful he is calling government. |
frankmoney:You guys still don't get it , it's a political game towards 2027 ,the outcome will be hard evidence for tinubu to use in 2027 when politicians like atiku want to use "tinubu is a criminal and drug dealer " as campaign point . |
I don't know what kirk said but let me throw in my own observation and life experience. Sub human and inferior may not be the correct term to use. When it comes to IQ that is creativity and brain power, the whites are way above compared to blacks. We have blacks with high IQ but they are always minute in a high population of very low IQ. Then when it comes to strength, strong immunity and body esthetics, blacks are on top way above the whites. God never created species/animals to be equal, take a look at dogs, birds, plants and animal. Different breeds have different strength and power. The USA understood this fact first and it enabled them to become no 1 in the world. They use blacks for sports and entertainment industry, use Asians for management and innovation. They the whites are very good in management and growth maintenance. So in summary we are not subhumans or inferior but there are things very hard for blacks especially growth maintenance, innovation and management. The blacks with high IQ won't be able to function properly in a dysfunctional society that is why most highly achieved blacks did so in Western countries. We have to accept this and not feel bad about it. It is natural and nobody can have it all. Blacks use to be on top when the world was operating on sheer human strength and power but unfortunately now it is operating on brain power. In order for us to grow our government system must be changed which is all about who has the highest money to share. This unfortunately won't happen soon. So African countries will keep on being the last
Do you relaize how many powerful African leaders the west killed so that africa won't get ahead ? Omo you guys are really under colonial bandage. |
SmartPolician:Truth is government no longer selects leaders for each sport Federation, it's now an internal matter and those former athletes you mentioned really don't have the resources to out -muscle the so called politicians and career civil service directors who rush for the job . I remember when NFF used to threaten FG with fifa ban if they interfere with the football leadership selection. |
Helinuse:I know you lack knowledge but let me help you According to data from the Gun Violence Archive, from January to August 2025, there were: 10,373 gun violence deaths from homicides, murders, and unintentional shootings in the usa 300 mass shootings. 10 mass murders. 168 children (ages 0-11) killed. 713 teens (ages 12-17) killed. |
press9jatv:It's being level headed , eazi is very level headed and understood music is just one stream of income. |
Helinuse:The difference is in nigeria you know the flash points for insecurity even the western world always send info to their citizens not to visit certain locations in Nigeria, in the USA there is no such flash point oh, every location is s potential shooting range, schools ,churches, shopping malls ,anything can happen cos they are all strapped up with lethal weapons . |
nairalanda1:You keep saying this like you don't know your fellow Nigerians, ordinary 5% tax on fuel they are already up in arms and opposition politicians are using it to gain traction, what do you think will happen if tinubu goes all out and does what Javier milei is doing in Argentina? The truth is nigeria is too poor to go thru too many reforms , let this initial reforms stabilise first then next president can continue from where BAT stopped. |
morikee:I'm sorry to say but Islam especially in Africa and most of the middle east is a drawback to the progress of any serious country. |
DiamondsAreFore:Go back and read the article. It was spelt out in black and white what the usa subsidy covers . |
naptu2:Thank you for letting him know what a lot of wise nairalanders know , that he is paid to further a political agenda on this forum. |
givedemwotowoto:False ! Nigerian stock market has been on a bull run since day 1 of Tinubu's government and is not slowing down . |
Only a fool will think that usa will release even a shred of paper about tinubu . |
happney65:Her son Tunde Fowler worked for and got popular thanks to the so called iragbiji person you detest so much . |
Precious201010:The person you quoted and the others up there didn't read the article ,the rep member organised summer class for students in his constituency. |
Ofunaofu:But you didn't tell buhari this idea when he initiated the humanitarian affairs ministry? SMH. |
donmixc:Explain in detail how Tinubu worked against Gej, in 2011 Gej came to lagos to see tinubu before the elections and got his support for the south west only for gej to turn 360 degrees against tinubu after he got elected as president , so you were expecting tinubu to just lie low especially as an opposition party leader ? No wonder you guys always loose elections , If indeed tinubu betrayed gej why was gej the first to visit and congratulate him when BAT won 2023 elections, the pictures are all over the Internet. |
Betgold84:The goalkeepers reflexes were top notch , reminded me of De Gea. |
Melagros:India have nukes , Venezuela doesn't, even usa will tread carefully with India. |
Dreamhans1:You are the one who lacks the logic to assimilate my surmise ,even after quoting a specific and important portion of the original article you still are stuck in your myopic ways , a leaders personal lifestyle has nothing to do with how well or bad he will govern a country or state, the Lee Kuan yew you are famzing shut down protests and workers unrest when he was reforming the country, if according to you the Singapore citizens didn't follow Yew blindly then why did they protest his initial reforms? Try to think properly and digest an article before making conclusions. |
Goodlady:Joseph Yobo played complete season for Everton back to back oh , he was one of their best defenders. |
Racoon:He launched sweeping reforms in housing, education, defense, and urban hygiene. The Housing Development Board (HDB) rolled out the world’s most ambitious public housing program. He famously banned chewing gum, not out of pettiness, but as part of a broader campaign for cleanliness and order. Strikes, riots, and public disorder were clamped down on with uncompromising resolve If BAT does half of this, same OP will be up in arms crying democracy is dead. This is the honest truth i have observed about Africa and why we are under developed: African leaders who try to change the status quo especially in a democratic setting end up failing as most Africans are only after what they can eat today and not future plans, any African leader who tries to do hard reforms will get called out so most of them chicken out and just keep pleasing the masses just to stay in power , the few successful African countries are those with either dictators or long term democratic terms, reason I'm an advocate of 5 to 7 year tenure for presidents . Jerry rawlings ruled Ghana both as military and civilian for over 20 years and set a template for Ghana, Lagos has been the most consistent state in Nigeria for decades cos its a one party state, Rwanda has come up from its genocide past cos the president has been in power since 1996. For africa to move forward all these 4 year nonsense won't work . |
Racoon: Guestmale:God bless you bro, the two faced OP didn't even read the article he posted , Lee Kuan yew dealt with riots and strikes viciously and ruled Singapore for 30 years ! !! Yet the Op is pontificating and praising him to high heavens while deriding his own president who is trying to reform his country and is not even doing half of what Yew did . |
OredoPikin:@naptu2 come and see oh ! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
Kaliningrad:This gathering really pain Trump oh ! He has been lamenting all week. 😄 |
enemyofprogress:Give unto Poseidon what is Poseidons ![]() |
franchasofficia:It has nothing to do with government policies ,it 8s poor management system and as for your jumia bit please read below Jumia Technologies, the parent company of Jumia Nigeria, has experienced a decline in its overall revenue in recent years, though there are signs of a turnaround in 2025, especially in key markets like Nigeria. It is important to note that Jumia's financial reports are for the entire Jumia Group, not broken down by specific country. However, the reports often highlight the performance of their major markets, including Nigeria. Here is a breakdown of Jumia's revenue and growth from 2023 to June 2025, based on the company's financial reports: 2023 * Full Year 2023 Revenue: Jumia reported a total revenue of $186 million for the full year 2023. This represented an 8% year-over-year decline from 2022. 2024 * Full Year 2024 Revenue: Revenue for the full year 2024 was reported as $167.5 million, a decline of 10% year-over-year compared to 2023. * The decline in revenue in 2024 was primarily attributed to currency devaluations, particularly in Nigeria and Egypt, as well as a decrease in marketplace revenue and first-party sales. 2025 * Q1 2025 Revenue: Jumia's revenue in the first quarter of 2025 was $36.3 million, a 26% drop from Q1 2024. This was largely due to a slump in corporate sales in Egypt and ongoing currency challenges. * Q2 2025 Revenue: In a significant positive shift, Jumia's revenue for the second quarter of 2025 increased by 25% year-over-year to $45.6 million. This growth was driven by an increase in orders and strong performance in core consumer-focused business. Nigeria, specifically, saw a 25% increase in orders and a 36% surge in Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) in Q2 2025. In summary, Jumia's revenue experienced a downward trend in 2023 and 2024, continuing into the first quarter of 2025. However, there was a notable reversal in the second quarter of 2025, with strong revenue growth and a significant increase in orders and GMV in Nigeria. |
iwaeda:Even after the clarifications by @naptu2 above you , you still decided to be illogical and dull by running with false info ? |
alphonsojaybaz:Na yahoo and cult boys full that music industry, that's why most of their songs glorify bad behaviour. |
